It is very difficult to find a well-made, well-priced birdhouse (nest box) that actually fits the needs for the specific bird you are trying to attract. Kettle Moraine Woodworking, Inc. is an expert (found them on Etsy) and I could tell it from the minute I opened my box and saw the quality of the packing, the quality workmanship and the colorful creativity in this birdhouse. First, they use solid cedar lumber (not MDF) and colorful recycled plastics for the construction - this means it will last and not get all moldy. The birdhouse nest box also has ventilation. It has a clean out trap to get rid of old nests. It has a predator guard on the perfect sized hole so squirrels, crows and rats can't enter. There is a little sheet of advice on how to hang it neither too high or too low. It came with a stainless steel screw to secure it to my tree.With all the CA wildfires, many of the birds have been displaced and I am happy to help them find a spot to nest in my yard. I will definitely order more birding accessories from them.

I was looking for a quality foor arm hanger for my bird feeder pole. They took the time to measure what they had. As a result, I knew exactly how to adapt their hanger to my pole. I appreciate a company that is willing to help a customer complete his project. I also purchased a different component from a company in North Carolina, and I didn't get the same result. It has been a hassle to try to get anywhere with them. Again, I do appreciate the customer service at Kettle Moraine.

I bought the double suet bird feeder with a tail prop. Just put it up two days ago and I've already got a pair of pileated woodpeckers feeding off of it.Great product, great craftsmanship, and great company. I would definitely recommend getting one of these.
