We had baked haddock fish dinner on a recent Friday, it was absolutely terrible! The fish was baked well over done and very hard, very chewy. We also had baby reds as choice of potatoes, appeared to be day old and also hard to eat, my wife left most of her meal!We told the male bartender about it. He said talk with the hostess/cook "Tiger" .We did and she only said to me that "she would look into it" !I thought that her response was very poor and she did not offer a discount or anything!Sorry, we will not be back!There also was not a lot of other patrons in the establishment so they were not busy!

Food was OK. Not great, not horrible, just OK. Service was bad though. The lSunday bartender doesn’t know how to use the POS, so after what I thought was being ignored I said, for the third time we were ready to order, he finally told us he doesn’t do the orders we have to wait for the waitress. It appeared he was just too busy talking to the regulars to check on us. Just not a really good vibe.Not good enough for us to return.

We visited for the first time. It took quite a long time until the food came, but it was worth the wait!! The broasted chicken was hot, juicy, and deliciously breaded; the double cheeseburger was huge, cooked perfectly, and delicious; the perch, baked haddock, and breaded cod were hot, fresh, and tasty! They also only take cash, so be prepared. The server and bartenders were friendly.

Order was correct and food was good. Good sized portions on all the meals we ordered. The steaks were a bit too over salted but done properly. One thing to improve on is being wheelchair accessible. They have a back door without a step up but there is still a high enough edge that made it a bit difficult to get up and over the threshold.

Took over an hour to be seated, even though only two other tables were in use. Thought maybe it was because of COVID but the only person in the place wearing a mask was the waitress and they had a salad bar so I'm pretty sure it wasnt COVID related. The food was ok although I was asked for the first time in my life how I wanted my rib cooked. Thought there was only one way to cook prime rib. Nor sure if I would go back, certainly wont go out of my way to go there.

Was just there this past week with a friend, it was our first time there. They had one bartender, one waitress and one cook. Found out they are short staffed, fair enough. Took awhile to get a drink, the bar was packed but eventually we got a drink and a happy hour free drink ticket on the bar, which was nice. Buy one get one free! The Wednesday food special was prime rib which we were gonna order but they were out. I ordered bbq ribs and my friend ordered broasted chicken. We waited one and a half hours before we got called to our table and waited another 15/20 minutes before we got our food. Unfortunately my ribs were so spicy that I couldn’t eat them. My broasted potatoes the butter didn’t melt, that’s how cold they were. My friend’s broasted chicken was dried out. Oh and then they announced that they will only be open on Saturdays and Sundays bc of short staffed. I feel bad for the owners trying to make it in this tuff economy! I really hope they succeed bc they were running around like crazy to accommodate to everyone. I’ll wait awhile to go back and give them a second chance.

First timer! It was crowded so we waited 30 minutes for a table. I ordered the perch and it was very good. The cole slaw and the tartar sauce were also very good and the prices were low.. Will definitely go back again.

Can't beat this place. A local favorite meeting & eating spot. A little out of the way but sooo worth the drive! Your typical Wisconsin country bar(not glamorous) but with outstanding food! The walleye is the best anywhere! Try it. You will not be disappointed!

So incredibly good! What a gem of a find! The fish fry was fabulous! The broasted chicken is to glorious! The worst part of ordering is only being able to have one of the kinds of potato! Everything was amazing. Come in a group and have everyone order something different so you can try everything...that or just come multiple times!

Pay $2.50 for atm,, no credit/ debit cards accepted. Perch was priced at oboutr$21.00 for medium platter,, overly breaded and fish smell, no other flavor,, had to peel off extensive breading, bar lime so dry no juice to them. Bartender hides your large bill change under your ones tightly. Disappointed,, came home to extensive runs bowel wise..best part the baked potato

Great country bar - friendly and unpretentious. The kind of place where you won't feel out of place in a t-shirt and jeans. The menu is simple but the food is good and the drinks aren't overpriced.My great-great aunts (who lived on the family homestead in St. Nazianz) passed in the late 90s but used to go here decades ago. Just knowing that makes me love this place more. It's like stepping back into a piece of their lives. I love a place with history.I live in Illinois now but this is a new favorite of mine when back in Wisconsin.

Great breakfast huge portion for more than reasonable price. And the waitress was very friendly & knowledgeable about choices offered. Would highly recommend this for a filling breakfast with fresh ingredients.

Was a very bad experience. Will never go back. Tonic was flat, lettuce was empty except for brown pieces. Prime rib was cold and tasteless. Baked potatoe was not fully cooked. Not happy employees

Bar staff awesome and waitress was a sweetie.. rib eye very good but tenderloin was horrible.... cook needs to better understand difference between rare , medium,, well done .. salad bar good and soup good .. we will go back but will not ever order tenderloin..
