I’ve been a Hoban’s customer since the 90’s. Their customer service and knowledge in motorcycles is top notch. I can not get the grin off my face from the recent performance upgrade on my new ‘22 Street Glide ST. The difference is unreal. The crew did a great job suggesting and finding the right parts.

I took my 73 Harley there to have a carburetor put on and tuned up. I got the bike back. Rode it to Sheboygan and it started back firing. Call and told them. Took it back to them, this time they replaced my new battery and never gave me a chance to take the old one back to place of purchase. They said the wires where not backwards. Which would have been their mistake but I had to pay for it. Again got it back to Sheboygan and it was still back firing. This Timothy had to pick up the bike from the side of a country road where it dead. Got it back and this time it back firing and will not attempt to start. All together I paid them 1505.42. And I now have to pay some else to fix it right. Anyone taking their bike there for service beware. I will never do business with this place again.

I am always a little apprehensive about having someone work my stuff. But this shop did not disappoint. The bike is still running smooth after thirty thousand miles, no issues.

Love this place! Great staff. Got the headband and the shirt there. Absolutely love the sweatshirt. Bought 2. So soft and I'm tall. Nice having sleeves that fit. Headband super comfy. Hubby gets his parts there. We travel over an hour for parts. But well worth it!

Great staff! The guys here are friendly and did everything they could to help in any way they could. They came and picked up my bike for free then had it fixed within a few days for cheaper than any Harley dealership would have done it for. This is definitely a place you need to check out if you need work on your bike.

Bike was in twice, both times it came back worse than when I took in. . They didn't put rubber boot over circuit board, which in turn board got wet, shut bike off. Had to fix ourself. Not happy...

My battery on my Sportster was kaput. It had stranded me for the last time. My initial communication with Hoban's was by e-mail. Erik was very helpful and I set up an appointment. While they were installing the battery they noticed both the nuts were missing on my rear pipe. The two that hold the pipe to the engine (I thought it didn't sound right). They got right on it. I was so impressed with their friendly and helpful attitude, I decided to replace my very worn tires. Got a set of high end Dunlops. The ride home was a pleasure. I didn't feel I had to look for bailout spots if I blew a tire. It always amazes me how fast my bike can get to 80. I don't do that very often; but I had a new confidence in my bike. So what started out to be a new battery, the job ballooned quite a bit. The bottom line, driving a bike is always risky, so you have to get the odds in your favor. You cannot put a price on safety. Bottom line these folks were great, friendly and competent. If your Harley needs some work or parts or service it would behoove you to patronize this fine family business.Okay I have to add some more comments here. My new battery went totally dead after a week. Fewer than 1% are lemons, lucky, lucky me. I called Eric at 0900, within a half hour a trailer showed up. A very nice young man muscled my bike into it. In a short time Eric called; and I was riding by noon. Hoban's did everything right, as I expected. What was so impressive is that they got right on it. Made me feel valued as a customer. Kudos, guys!

I highly recommend that people do not use this service shop. I had called Hobans to lower my front end, they offered to pick up my bike free of charge because of the work I was having done. They called 2 days later to say it was done, I thought you guys rock! Here's where it turns bad. I asked them when they were going to deliver it back to my house. Eric (service manager) told me a week or so?? Then I was told that there would be a delivery charge?? WHAT?? I had no idea since it was not told to me. Who picks up a bike for free but charges to deliver it back. Oh wait Hobans does.Stay away people.

What a phenominal motocycle shop. Great people and great service. While I was here at the Hoban Brothers I had approched John who co- orchestrates Darkhorse Crankworks. While I was doing most of my mechanical work myself I had brought my engine cases and crank up to John for their team to work their magic on. Oh heavens did they ever! I just recieved my dyno sheet back from harley, 118hp 117ftlbs of torque at the wheel. Job well done Darkhorse and Hoban Brothers!!!

They are all smiles to my face. But forgot to use locktight on my rear break drum, break components. Causing a catastrophic failure. Locking up the back tire on my 66 shovel head. As I was going down I 43. I was the one pushing his harley on the I between sheboygan and Cleveland. Thanks to a policeman. And a good samaritan. I was able to get my motorcycle off the I. And the people at hobans look at me stupid. Like its not there problem. I could have died. And they are the ones who put my bike together.

I know Hoban Brothers states that they service Harley Davidson motorcycles but they do service other AMERICAN made motorcycles with V Twin S&S engines as well. I have been going to Hoban Brothers for more then a year after another bike shop wasn't able to figure out a problem with the S&S engine on my American IronHorse. Hoban Brothers were quick to identify the problem and correct it so that it never repeated.I have put more than 3,000 miles on my bike since my 1st trip to Hoban Brothers and just got my bike back after the winter storage. Bike was tuned and detailed before being returned to me and it is running great!If you are looking for trust worthy diagnosis and service, this is the place for your American V Twin. They accept S&S engines via post for performance upgrades from anywhere.Thanks Hoban Brothers and a special shout out to Eric and Brian.
