I’ve visited Soulspace Sanctuary twice, both times as a field trip with high school students. Kara is a wonderful host, and she shares the best stories about her animals! Our students have loved their time there, between relaxing in a hammock or connecting one on one with an animal, they leave with bigger, kinder hearts. We love it so much we are bringing another group back during summer school to learn and enjoy this beautiful space that Kara has created.

What a nice friendly animal farm with a great story for all the animals. Having been all rescued one way or another, the farm owners seem to give a great deal to their care and give a happy home for them all. They do tours on Saturdays so check out their website for more information. A nice place, not very big, but big enough to spend a good few hours.

The most serene get away I could have anywhere local. The volunteers are more than kind, they treat you like family. Plus, they are very active with local businesses, including donations. I’ve visited before, but I went last summer with my two sisters. Enjoyed an entire day giving love to the animals, made the most amazing pierogi dish, and was lucky enough to sleep in the upstairs suite with a dog laying comfortably at my feet. It felt like an amazing getaway only 20 minutes from my home. Recommend 100%!

This is an amazing place for farm animals. Kara is as compassionate as she is strong. If you look into the animals eye, they only show love. It’s unbelievable how all the animals get along as really have a strong bond. Whenever I feel I need to just get away to relax and bring back faith, this is place for me. It has really given me insight on the animals, some that I never have been around. There is a direct connection to your soul coming here💖

Soul Space is but a short drive from the bustle of the Twin Cities, and a perfect place to have a friendly visit with the sweet approachable farm critter residents that call it their home. My personal frustrations and worries evaporate, and time with the fine animal spirits there helps me to remember to live in the moment. Adults and kids of all ages can have a fun close experience with the animals. A real treat for urban dwellers like me! And give 'em a couple bucks when you're there - they DESERVE it!

This place is AMAZING! It's a beautiful farm sanctuary run by caring and compassionate human beings who work long and hard to make sure that every goat, pig, chicken, rooster, duck, and all the other animals are fed, safe, and in good health. SoulSpace has an Airbnb and regularly scheduled tours to meet the animals, AND they have super cool events with live music. We LOVE visiting here!

It’s wonderful to have a place so close to home that not only provides a safe haven for critters, but also the opportunity for people of all ages to see an organization like this in operation. The sheer tranquility and harmony that permeate the air are simply unmatched, offering a respite from the chaos of everyday life.The Airbnb itself is a testament to the care and thoughtfulness of the hosts. Every inch of the space exudes beauty and comfort, showcasing the tremendous effort they have put into creating a haven for their guests. The attention to detail is evident, as every nook and cranny has been carefully adorned to provide a cozy and inviting atmosphere. The blend of rustic charm and modern amenities ensures that guests feel pampered while still being connected to the serene natural surroundings.One of the highlights of my stay was indulging in the private hot tub. This is one of the most magical places ever! I was very burnt out and needed to get away and they fit me in on short notice. I was by myself. It gave me so much peace and the animals gave me so much joy. The suite is absolutely gorgeous! It’s like she was looking in my mind when she designed it. Every single thing is meticulously put in there to promote rest and relaxation. It’s a feeling. I got really emotional it made me feel so good. Kara is the sweetest most gracious host. It is absolutely lovely. I will go again alone for sure but I would also like to go with my hubby sometime and I definitely want to bring my kids to teach them about saving animals and sanctuary. I couldn’t recommend this place more. The love of animals is just a bonus. Soulspace is a state of mind or a feeling in your soul truly.

We have been to Soulspace multiple times, and also taken our grandkids. Everyone is wonderful that you meet and Kara, the founder has the biggest heart for her animals and everyone involved with their well-being. She takes the time to talk to visitors and make it special for all ages. Probably a good thing for her that we don’t live closer, or we’d be there all of the time! Lol. ❤️

My family loves this place so much----Ladies always spent Labor Day as our Girls weekend.Grandma, daughters, and grandkids ---living with the animals that are loved . I also bring my Veteran Brother who lives in a nursing home here to just sit for hours and enjoy the animals.....When I mention my favorite places, this is the first place I think about..For my family this is a 5+star place

We stayed at the Airbnb and it was amazing! Such a quaint and peaceful place to rest and rejuvenate. Being able to spend unlimited time with the animals made us feel like VIP’s. They all have such big personalities and it was great to get to know them! The sunsets are magical and like nothing I have ever seen before . It was definitely a spiritual experience for us!! Went here for mothers day... it was such a wonderful and recharging experience! Everyone we spoke with truly cared for the animals and were passionate about what they were doing. It was inspiring to hear the stories and see the changes that had been made in these lives. Definitely will be back and recommend to everyone who needs to be reminded to take a deep breath, slow down, and cuddle some sweet animal friends.

The moment you pull into the sanctuary you feel like you stepped into a fairy tale. I was just expection to see all of the characters of Charlotte's Web. It was magical, and the animals are loved and give love right back.
