We started bringing our pets to Countryside when our Chesapeake had a bowel obstruction and needed emergency surgery. We were so pleased with the care that we stayed on. Dr Keller is our favorite. He’s so kind and is always very attentive to my concerns. Once we had to bring in our guinea pig and I’ll never forget what a celebrity he was in the clinic. The staff just loved him. Our other favorite person to see is vet tech Sara. Even though she’s busy she always takes time to stop and say hi. Living in Hudson we could find a closer clinic, but we just enjoy the staff the appreciate the care so much!!

So far, we’ve really liked this vet clinic! The place is clean, the staff is friendly, and the communication has been great! We came in for a puppy wellness exam and for a procedure, and both times everything from scheduling to paying to getting results was fast and easy! And this place is quite affordable (for the services we needed). If our puppy could talk, I’m sure he’d be saying “I actually really like going to the vet!”

Countryside is a wonderful clinic! We've been bringing our various pets to these awesome veterinarians since 1993. Everyone from the front desk staff to the vet techs to the kennel/boarding staff has always shown a high level of understanding, professionalism, and knowledgeable information. These veterinarians are simply the best! We fully trust them with our pets, aka our family members!

We have been bringing our dogs to Countryside and Dr Smith for over 15 years. Dr Smith started working with my dog than who had Cushing Disease. She was so kind and helpful with my anxiety. I trusted her words and care. Since then I have now have 3 dogs that I bring regularly to countryside and they are top notch from the front desk to the vet tech to Dr Smith. I never have to wonder if my dogs are getting the right treatment because I know that they are. Won’t go anywhere else.

Love, love, love this veterinary clinic! After our vet of 20+ some years retired I thought I would never find another one we really felt at home with, but we have!!!! Thatcher loved meeting everyone and it is obvious how much everyone who works there loves animals. Dr. Cory is great!!! Highly recommend.

Our last visit there was in August 2022. Unauthorized tests were performed. An unauthorized/unnecessary vaccination was given. Unauthorized medications were sent back with the volunteer who brought our cats. Our bill was more than twice what was expected based on the estimate we were given. We were charged twice for one cat’s services. When our director called to discuss the matter with Miranda, the office manager, she was told not to bother to come in because no one had time to talk with her. We have not been back to the clinic since then. It is doubtful we will go back to Countryside even though we were very happy with the services of most of the doctors. The refusal to discuss this with us and the unauthorized testing, medications and vaccination when there was supposed to be a note in our chart that said none of that was to be done without specifically calling the shelter director for permission did not promote a continued relationship with Countryside. The specific reason for that clinic appointment was health certificates so those cats could be transferred to a shelter in Minnesota. Before this visit we highly recommended this clinic to other people, but have not done so and likely will not since this incident. If the clinic is willing to discuss this with us and reimburse or credit us for all the over charges and unauthorized services, we would consider going back. Unless and until that would happen, we would not even consider using their services again. We consider their behavior and actions to be highly unprofessional, especially when there were notes in our chart stating they were not to do those things without consent and when the office manager refused to let our director come in to discuss the matter. It’s sad because the actions of most of the vets at this clinic were very professional. They did not discuss anything with the volunteer nor call our director for permission to provide the unwanted and unnecessary services. They simply performed the tests and sent her home with a bag of medications. Our director called and discussed all these things with someone at the front desk prior to this visit. We find the things they did to be unethical.

Not only are their services overpriced, they are profit before animal. I needed to put my pet down, and was lacking funds to do so. They absolutely would not work with me and wanted to put my pet through an exam… putting the animal through something it did not need and trying to take more money from me. Then the had the audacity to tell me to have a great day, when I’m in the process of losing my pet. Horrible service.

Countryside staff, from the receptionist to the vet assistant, to the veterinarian, deliver five star service. We’ve been going to Countryside for our pup, Lucy, for over four years and are so grateful for their care. This past visit - the receptionists were so patient with all my questions, the vet assistant was so kind, and most of all Dr. Brian Keller was so attentive and caring to Lucy (who was very nervous to be at the vet!). Dr. Keller delivered exceptional customer service throughout. I am so impressed and grateful for Countryside! Thank you!

The phone was answered by a REAL person! No recording to leave a message or punch different buttons to be directed, actual personal service. We were able to have our dog seen within a short period of time (possibly next afternoon, I don't recall exactly) and the price for her surgery was considerably less than our prior clinic. Their costs seemed to be skyrocketing within the past year or two (new ownership) and we know Countryside has been around for longer than we've lived in the area and have an excellent reputation, so we made the switch. The doctor called the day after surgery to see how our girl was doing and to see if we had any questions. Excellent personalized service from caring providers and staff. Yes, they're there to make money (as any business is) but I don't feel like we're being taken advantage of at Countryside.

Last week we unfortunately had to put our dog down and it was such an emotional time for us. This was the first time we have experienced this and did not know what to expect. Although our hearts were broken, I cannot say enough how wonderful the staff was from the person on the phone making the appointment to the vet and assistant that helped. They were so comforting, explained the process so we knew what to expect and the room was peaceful and private so we could have all the time we needed to say our goodbyes. Today I came home to a hand written card with a very sweet message to us and all the staff’s signatures- brought tears to my eyes. Thank you so much for that! I can tell the love you all have for animals❤️

Our family has really enjoyed working with the team at Countryside Veterinary Clinic for both routine visits and for various health conditions. Everyone we have worked with has been super kind and truly cared for our pets as if they were their own. They take time to educate us on our pet(s) health and they always provide us with our options. We don’t live close, but feel it is worth the drive to have our dogs receive care by a team we trust!

My dogs absolutely love coming here!!We continue to receive the most excellent advice, treatment and care for our dogs and we get the distinct impression that nothing is too much trouble for our pets. I love this vet. I switched here after having gone to the same vet for 20 years. I love their service and attentiveness and have had a good experience with every one of their veterinarians that I have used for my pets. They are great at refilling prescriptions and making referrals and they really do their best to care for the animals they see.

Longtime customer here. First off I emailed for an appointment and when I didn't get a response I went there.Our issue was our dog had bitten someone and we were just looking for advice. We were told by the receptionist that she would leave a message for our vet and she would call us back. She then provided us with her "knowledge" on dog training she suggested we be strict and take his favorite things away for a week and he will straighten out. She also spoke with the vet and she relayed the message that the vet said our dog was fine when she was alone with him. Just call a trainer. There was no interest in our very serious situation. We ended up going to 2 more vets and found one who actually cared. I will never set foot in countryside again. If you're too busy to help in a situation like this very serious one then cut us loose.

Our regular vet was closed during an emergency. Our golden retriever was having seizures and the closest vet who would see us was over an hour away, out of state. We were lucky to work with Doctor Brian Keller three years ago. He went out of his way to make sure Oakley was cared for. He diagnosed him and gave him prescriptions that would help with the seizures and help him to relax. Doctor Keller was exceptional beyond our expectations. He checked in and went out of his way, during his personal time to check in on Oakley and answer any questions we had. We appreciated his dedication so much that we switched from our vet 7 minutes away to driving half an hour to see him. We now live almost an hour away but continue to go back. Phenomenal care here. Oakley isn’t scared to go to the vet to the degree he once was. I cannot recommend Countryside enough.

My turkey and I are very happy with the care at Countryside Vet. It's hard to find a vet for farm animals, even a country vet to make home visits that are less than an hour drive. The clinic is a twenty minute drive for me and they were able to look at and treat my turkey. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable. They handled Turkey with care and made sure to follow up with us after treatment. I would recommend them to family and friends.

We can't recommend Countryside enough to anyone looking for a veterinarian, they're the best! They have multiple vets on staff, which was the primary reason that switched over to them. Our previous vet clinic was staffed with only one vet, so if they were booked or out of the office, your needs had to wait. The flexibility that Countryside offers to us is wonderful - their hours are fantastic, they all love animals and you can tell that they treat them as if they were their own. We have two Bernese Mountain Dogs who exactly get excited when we pull into the Countryside parking lot! Thank you for all that you do for us and our puppies!

I recently visited the Countryside Vet Clinic because my dog needed an emergency c-section. The staff could not have handled the situation more professionally. Doing the surgery was Dr. Smith. There were multiple techs available to help with the puppies. Dr. Juelsgaard assisted in reviving a puppy that was struggling and the technicians were all very kind and knowledgeable. The follow up assistance was also excellent. I can't recommend this clinic highly enough.
