What a wonderful place to visit! The animals are very friendly (for the most part. Some get cranky when you tell them no more, lol)It's beautiful here, and there's a nice variety of animals. Seeing them trot up to the car and feeding them is a very enjoyable experience. The way some of the deer happily prance up to you is one of the cutest things I've ever seen. Some of the camels and the ostrich can be pretty pushy and get a little upset when you're ready to move on.$20/person and $10/bucket of feed (we got two). Drive through at 5 mph, and wait for the animals to approach. You won't have a long wait. At the end, you can get out of your vehicle to feed the giraffes. There's also a gift shop with snacks, porta-potties, and pump sinks to wash up. You'll probably want to clean your car when you get home. We had a lot of feed and slobber in and outside of the car. This is an experience worth checking out at least once. We were very happy we went!Very weak cell signal here. We did manage to get enough at the end to load Pokemon Go and see that there's at least one Pokestop here at the gift shop. Not sure if there's anything else.

Such a fantastic place! We went through twice! Great interacting with the animals. They're so cute and not overly aggressive. Your car is safe as long as you keep your windows either all the way up or all the way down.

A fun little adventure tucked away in a little town. We enjoyed our drive- through. The animals all seem to have plenty of big spaces and sanctuaries to live in. The camels are a bit crazy! The first one reached his whole head in and ate our map, whoops! lesson learned, camel will sneak by the scoop and try to find the big bucket in your car🤣

We took our grandsons, ages 2 and 4 through yesterday. What a great experience! We drove through twice and we had as much fun as the kids did! I've been an animal lover all of my life and they all looked to be in very good condition. There were many employees posted throughout, I suppose for the safety of the animals AND the people, which was nice. Everyone was super friendly and we defiantly want to go back!

We stopped here on our way home from Lifest in Oshkosh. We didn’t know what to expect but it was surprisingly better than I expected! The animals were healthy and happy. The camels were a little pushy, but still fun to see up close. (My daughter was freaked out by one she called Chad. He had a strange look about him.)The ostriches were the only animal that I didn’t care for, but they seem to be jerks everywhere. Even in Africa, I had a problem with an ostrich. The price was high, but I think the experience was worth it.If your in the area, you should stop by.

I would not discourage anyone from experiencing this place. Just know that if your vehicle gets damaged, they are not liable. The first animals you encounter are camels. Two came over and one wanted to be fed. The second one leaned into my car and it bumped it(sounded like a kick) and I thought my side mirror was going to snap off. Then it kept bumping into my car. I was feeling pretty tense because I was unsure if it was upset. Then, I saw a woman worker drive over and she was very calm, so thank you whoever you are! :-) You made me feel less tense. She told the camel to stop rubbing against my car. After bumping it another time, I heard her say it was ok for me to drive on. I thanked her. It wasn't the camel's fault for the bump in my car because I am entering their territory. I'm just saying it felt tense while trying to remain calm. Again, thank you to the woman that helped me.Some of the animals were aggressive eaters, so I dropped some food for them and kept driving. I fed the calm eaters from the scoop given. It was incredible to see rhinos! Wow!! Also, both of the giraffes were just beautiful.I would go again, but definitely do not take a new car, or a car that you would not get upset about getting damaged. I am going to keep the bump in my car as it is a story...my car is now going to be called Humpty Bumpty. :-)

It was a good experience. The animals all looked healthy and did not seem too skittish - the camels especially (they had no qualms about sticking their head right in the window as if to say, "I know you have more food in that bucket" - but their breath sure stinks) My understanding is it is new as of June this year - I'd like to see them prosper so will likely make it an annual trip.

Well worth the $10 per person entrance fee! Large bucket of feed (seeds, corn. and carrots) only $10. Was enough for 2 of us to make it through and feed the giraffes at th end, as long as you don't let the pushy camels take it all, lol! Look out for prairie dogs, they run in front of vehicles. Spotty cell service in area, bring a map.

What a fun place for the entire family. We went on a Wednesday once school started. We arrived right at open thinking it shouldn't be busy. There was at least a 20 minute wait . If you don't arrive early the line gets crazy long. When we left an hour later I'd say the wait was easily over an hour. Buying a bucket of food is worth it. Hide your carrots and feed them to the giraffes at the end. They will eat the pellets but will avoid people offering them pellets to come eat the carrots if you have them. If you have a shorter vehicle the animals tend to come over more. Every enclosure we went into the animals would come eat from us. The lifted pickup in front of us only the tallest animals could reach so they ended up dumping most of their food out the window. I was shocked most of the animals were health weight and not obese from all the food. I will say if you hate bugs you might want to not get food and leave your windows up. Black Flies, horse flies and loads of mosquitoes call this place home because of the animals and the water. They have quite a few employees riding around in utv. I wish they would do a better job enforcing their safety rules for the animals. I also don't think I'd go in the afternoon. Even going first thing in the morning lots of the animals were grazing well away from the road and uninterested in being fed. I can only imagine once it's hot and they've been fed a lot they just lounge in the shade. Would 100% go again. I will also add they do have port a potty available. I was fine but my wife checked a couple and decided to wait until we got back into town.Edit my friends went at 2 in the afternoon and said the giraffes wanted no part of being fed so clearly early is the way to go.

Get there early before the park even opens, so you can feed the animals. In the afternoon, they'd be full and probably not come up to the cars. Most of the animals are very friendly and are willing to eat out of your hand. Be careful, because they will even put their head into your car if they think you have food!!! You don't actually get to feed the rhinos, lion or tiger... Well, we didn't even see the big cats at all. 😿The giraffes will eat the animal feed, but they seem to like the carrots best, so you might want to save them.At the end of the loop, you can go around again, or park and get out to feed the giraffes. There are also nice port-o-potties, and a sink with a foot pump. It was a very welcome sight after all the critters slobbered on my hands! We will definitely be coming here again, and it is so close to town! You'd never know it from the main road 73, as there is no sign until you come right up to the park gates.Totally worth it if you get there early!

What an amazing adventure. We drove 2 hours one way, sat in line for 30 minutes and for what? This is for what, amazing animal encounters, funny prairie dogs, and wild African animals running loose everywhere. Shamba does NOT skimp on the 10 dollar feeding bucket for 10 dollars either. It took us 2 hours to get through 1 time because the animal interactions are close and personal. What an amazing time. We will go back time and time again. FYI do not feed on the cattle grates animals can get there hooves stuck in them and become injured.Restrooms: Typical portapotty

Had a great time at our first visit to the safari! Got there just after opening and glad we did as it continued to get busier. Bought 2 buckets of feed which was just enough when 5 people were feeding. Enjoyed all the animals getting right up by the vehicle and some even putting their heads in our vehicle. That being said don't drive your nicest vehicle! Would be nice if they had more info on the animals and more signage. Well worth the price. We would highly recommend.

It wasa great drive thru. Animals were great. The camel sure isn't afraid to get up all in your vehicle to get to feed buckets. My kids got scared since camel was very persistent and I had to roll windows up until next section. But it was very cleanly for how many animals are there. We would definitely go again.

So much fun. I took my mom because she's handicapped & can't walk much. This was great since you don't even have to get out of your vehicle. The animals were so friendly & healthy. Everything was so clean & appealing. I hope to see Shamba grow & evolve in the coming years.Mom begged me to take her back 2 days later. I was more than happy to oblige. Will return again & again.

Took our grandson here and had a great time. You stay right in your own vehicle and go through at your own pace, and you can take as many laps around as you want. The place seems to be well-maintained. Lots of animals and they all interact well with people. The animals appear to be healthy and in good spirits and they all seem to have lots of room to roam. Be advised that there is a real risk of damage to your car from the animals rubbing up against the paint as they stick their heads in your window seeking food. We had a particular camel that deposited sand all over the side of the vehicle and another camel decided to rub his face in it and scratch the paint up pretty good. Their policy, as expected, is they they aren’t responsible for vehicle damage.

A friend suggested checking Shamba Safari with family. It was a little long drive but was awesome. Seeing safari animals (in Wisconsin)so close and feeding in was a different experience for my toddler. It's a drive through; if you end up going on a busy weekend you will be behind lined up vehicles. However, you may drive through as many times as you want. A bucket of feed is $10, usually it is plenty. My only suggestion would be building better bathrooms and having first aid kit available at the place.Hopefully Safari will attract more people for years to come.

Absolutely amazing place to spend the afternoon at. Only $10 per a person and then you can also buy a bucket of feed as well. It's a drive thru concept of a zoo. There are some animals you unfortunately cannot feed. But there are some great ones you can. Be sure to watch out for the camels because they are very hungry and overly friendly for food. Also make sure to save some carrots for the giraffes at the end. They have a cute little gift shop as well to check out. The nice thing is, is that you can go thru the drive as many times as you want for that $10 entry fee as well.

This was so much fun! Its not just for kids entertainment. My boyfriend and I went today and the weather was perfect. We did the loop twice and still ended up with left over food from 1 bucket. The camels are carrot hogs so beware! 😜🤣 It was so much fun and SOOO many laughs.

A beautiful place and happy healthy animals. So worth the 3 hour drive. We had so much fun we had to go through twice. It's a great option to a walk around zoo for people with mobility issues.

The kids had so much fun. They should however say somewhere that there is an extra $10 fee per bucket of feed. When they advertise its a drive thru zoo and you can feed the animals something should be mentioned even if its that feed ISNT included with admission. Luckily we had extra cash.

Fun for everyone! $10 per person + $10 per bucket of feed. No cash, but there's an ATM on site. There was a long line, but the wait wasn't too bad. Worth the drive!

I never knew about this place. One day it showed up in my facebook feed. I couldn't believe it is only 1 hour away and I never heard of it. My friend and I went there and it didn't disappoint us at all. I will definitely be back to take more photos. This place will make a lot of kids and adults happy. Be careful though, my cameras battery died on the second trip around and I started using my iPhone. An Ostrich tried snatching it out of my hand.
