My visit to the creamery was a new experience for me, and I loved the ambiance, the friendly staff, the delicious food, and the wide selection of wine and cheese they offered. It's a welcoming spot that I definitely suggest checking out, especially if you're a fan of Wisconsin cheese.

Nelson’s creamery was fantastic. I ordered the BBQ Pork sandwich which contained spicy pulled pork, cheddar cheese, and sautéed onion all encompassed by a heavenly French roll. My two friends ordered the Reuben and Philly as well as some two bags of cheese curds. For desert, I got the French silk pie ice cream which had no right being so delicious. If you just want to come for an afternoon, sipping on wine and eating cheese for an hour or two while talking to your friends seems like a great way to spend the day.

Haven't been here in a long time. It's so great they now offer coffee drinks. I ordered dark chocolate Mocha Latte, I thought it was good. I also got the chicken salad sandwich. I will order it again, but I'm going to ask for mayo or something. The atmosphere is really nice. It was so nice to sit by the cozy fire.

Loved this place so much that we went back the following week. For us, it's a great Sunday drive. The selection of wine is incredible. Any kind for any palate. Try a new one also. Their soup is so good and I chose a Reuben sandwich. Yumm!

This ice cream is always homemade and fresh. I get the double scoop for $4. I always get two different flavorsBut the main thing I really come for is the homemade fresh bag at bread that they have. Sometimes I bring meats and sometimes I buy it from them. I always bring home some Wisconsin cheeseI love Nelson's. It is my to go to place anytime I'm going to wabasha I stop in or if I'm by wabasha I make sure I stop at Nelson's. If you've never been here, you've missing out on one of the greatest finds in MinnesotaThis place is always busy but never packed so you have to wait in long lines

What a great stop! We really enjoyed our lunch break here. Everyone loved their sandwiches featuring some delicious cheese. The bloody Mary’s were tasty and the kids loved their root beer. The store has a great selection of wine and cheese, can you say charcuterie board, for appetizers. Such a wonderful find, I would pass on anything with espresso, comes out of a preformed pod and not the best flavor. But to make up for that we all had some tasty homemade ice cream. They had lots of great indoor and outdoor seating. The outdoor seating is reminiscent of Europe.

A fun stop for lunch! Hot and cold sandwiches and pizzas. Good selection of Wisconsin cheeses. A nice variety of wines and local beer for sale. You can grab an ice cream cone while you shop or after you enjoy a delicious sandwich. Very nice indoor seating area and an outdoor patio as well.

We always stop here on our way home from visiting family further north. It is the cutest little place and everything is delicious. Staff is friendly, it’s clean, and there is outdoor seating available as well.

We just stopped in for cheese this time, but have been in for ice cream in the summer and several times over many years. It's easy to find with lots of parking. Love the cheese curds - they squeak! Staff is helpful, even with a line out the door.

The place had reasonable prices and quantity of food. It was clean. Would have scored higher if I could have found a garbage can outside and the ice cream 🍦 girl was more friendly. Cheese curds & soup were good.

Always a wonderful place to stop by on road-trips. Great dairy products of all kinds. Delicious ice cream.Also, we saw some cute cats sitting outside the door that might have been strays. I hope they're being taken care of.

Good place to grab a sandwich and food treats. Not the best cheese selection anymore- but definitely has a nice section of items to make nice gift basket. Ice cream use to be better.Worth a stop if nearby.

It's this tiny special Jewel of a place. I bought a bag of goodies (olive oil, gourmet chesses,baguettes, etc), and then sat by the roaring firing eating a sandwich. Heaven

First time visiting and truly enjoyed the experience. The atheistic and atmosphere was wonderful. Enjoy some wine and charcuterie board, sandwich or some ice cream while relaxing either inside or outdoors.

Had this amazing $25 cheese tray with a pinot grigio from Italy. This place is definitely worth the off route detour if you have the time. I was impressed by the pairing they had. Only thing I would add is maybe a sweet jam.

They have some of the best cheese ever and also have delicious ice cream. Also if your hungry they have a great variety of fresh sandwiches, pizza and salads. There also a large variety of wines to enjoy with your food.

Bigger than I expected, impressive wine selection with wine room...only a few selections for ice cream but all unique. The usual selections of snack sticks, cheeses and such.Nice outdoor seating area and if your friendly you will probably be visited by one of the outdoor cats that roam around the grounds.

Service was excellent! The Ruben sandwich was delicious! Loved the flavor of the corned beef and cheese! Came with a pickle spear. Big selection of cheese and ice cream! Wine bar too! Indoor or outdoor seating. In a nice little community. I would recommend giving this place a try! You will enjoy it here!

Hands down the best I've cream and cheese curds I have ever had. Seriously let the cheese curds get to room temperature and all I can say is amazing. Rum Cherry and chocolate ice cream there is my absolute favorite. I have to suggest taking a trip here with the family just to get a $2 single scoop or $4 double scoop of ice cream. You will not be disappointed.

So cute and super nice staff. If you have never had chocolate cheese fudge it is pretty tasty. If you have never had German brick cheese, today is NOT the day to try it. It smells and tastes like diaper.They sell little knives for a dollar which is handy if you are picnicking. Would definitely return if inbthe area.

Mr T- cold sandwich, cup of tomato basil soup, a pepperoni pizza, and crafted sodas all made for a fantastic lunch. Dessert was rum cherry ice cream and praline pecan flavors. Picked up some Colby longhorn and hot pepper cheese to bring home, made at the creamery.

my chocolate/ Peanut Butter ice cream sucked....would do ice cream if I went backa "creamery" should make thier own ice cream and it should be better than anything you get in a store. Less than impressed

Have always loved Nelson Cheese. The retail store here in Rochester is gone. But the original location is not that far from us

This place is very near and dear to our hearts. We enjoy coming back here again and again. Our lives change a lot in between visits but the wine & food stay amazing. The customer service is excellent each time! ❤️
