Good compact store here that has a variety of things you'd need on different occasions. It's always a clean store when I went, nice employees, and the prices are good. Dollar General are decent stores anyway.

Store was clean. I was in there for awhile just browsing for gifts. I saw 2 employees & both were always working on something. There's a sign on the door saying face masks are required. I always wear one. By the time I left it was much busier & I think I saw 1 person with a mask correctly on over there mouth & nose. Even the cashier wasn't wearing one then.. although she was very efficient & friendly.

They have some pretty neat holiday gifts you wouldn't see at other stores. You do have to watch the prices. Many, many things are less expensive at Walmart. And the aisles are pretty tight. But the sales people are friendly and helpful.

I like to go to the doller general in our town, it's always clean and organized, the manager is a awesome lady, they are always friendly and ready to help with any thing you need. Now there is so much more since they remodeled, great place to go!🙂

Dollar General has reasonable prices, but sometimes it's not the best quality. I went here with my younger sibling and parent to get some groceries and maybe a toy for the younger. While searching for a toy, we came across a tea set, in which most of the items inside were BROKEN. As for the food, while looking for milk, there was only one type of milk there in the gallons, and that was whole milk. You may drink whole milk, but my household is mainly 1% or 2% milk. Then while looking for cheese, we came across "Sandwich Slices," which we laughed at due to it not saying cheese in the name. With further inspection, the cheese literally said on it that it was processed imitation cheese, which was kind of gross. So we bought other things, then headed to the Pig to see if we could get the cheese and milk in which we wanted. Not only did the Pig have real cheese that came with more than the processed and also have gallon milk, but we got it cheaper than if we were to buy a smaller milk with the processed cheese at Dollar General. Yes, they have some good deals and even an aisle of mainly all discounted items, but otherwise it's quality isn't the best. The workers there though make the atmosphere of the place fun and/or calming and they are very patient with younger children and seem to never be rude to their customers.

Love the variety of merchandise and the prices are very reasonable. I love the fact you can get many groceries there as well however would love to see them bring in some fresh produce/fruit similar to Kwik Trip

Staff was very knowledgeable on were things were especially since the store was recently remodeled and I had no clue. Made my trip in and out very easy.

What a mess! Been here multiple times over several months and it always looks like a tornado came through. Service was okay and they always had what I needed in stock. However finding anything in this pig-sty of a store is a different story altogether

The Dollar General in Nekoosa is one of the cleaner ones I've been in and the staff is always very friendly

Cheapest and most variety for your dollar, if piggly wiggly has it the Dollar general has it cheaper on most occasions, I do however wish the dg had larger and broader sales as they would definitely benefit from it. Stop here if you need snacks or camping supplies!

I needed a mug and I found the mug I needed. The personnel were very sweet! In this little town, it seemed like a bit of a social spot!

Good place to buy some good but cheap stuff. There's snack foods, bevarages, clothes, craft materials, toys, cleaning supplies, things for a vehicle, make-up, medince. Good variety for quick to grab stuff.

Nekoosa is a small town so having a Dollor General as an option is great. Could be a bit more organized, it is sometimes in disarray.
