This was our second time staying at this hotel, and we have had two great experiences! Cleanliness is our top priority when staying at a hotel, and we have been VERY impressed with how clean this Super 8 is. Floors in the rooms are CLEAN (laminate, not dirty carpet). We had to make a last-minute change to our reservation and the owner was fantastic about getting us switched over to our new dates. Nice continental breakfast (waffles, scrambled eggs, biscuits and gravy, fruit, coffee, juice, yogurt). We will stay here again when in the area!

Nice hotel, friendly staff. We got a big room with three queens, which was super nice. Nice size bathroom, bigger than most in a hotel. Breakfast was good but a small sitting area. We weren't notified about any wifi so figured it wasn't offered. Pool was small but very nice and clean. Good location coming into town and within walking distance to restaurants and a store.

Never could find anyone behind the desk! If we needed anything, we had to stand there and use the phone to get them to come to the front desk. Worst thing, there were cockroaches crawling around our room when we got up that morning told the owner (he said he was when we checked in), and he just said sorry there probably coming in because it's hot out, don't care if it's hot or not no nead for bugs. He knew they were around because he had spray sitting outside, told him we would like a discount, and he just acted like he didn't hear us. We got our room for the night by going into the hotel and not booking online through someplace else. I don't know if that would have made a difference or not. We only stayed one night.

It wasn’t a total dump. The room was clean, but there was a funky smell lingering.The pillows were the most disappointing part of the experience. They were ridiculously small. I don’t understand why a place would skimp out on pillows in such a way, if not out of spite. If it was about cutting costs or laundry loads, I’m sure most people could have gone without the giant portrait at the head of the bed, or four extra wash cloths, in exchange for some normal-sized pillows.

This was one of the better Super 8 in the range of quality that exists among the brand.Couple friendly suggestions meant in kindness:- if you provide eggs, include meat. Eggs without meat is like a salad without dressing- our bathroom door didn't lock (202)Really great for a super 8. You and your family are doing a great job! I also appreciated how kind and respectful you were. Keep up the good work. Between you and Kwik trip, you're competing for the best business in little Neillsville! 😃😃

Highly recommend this motel. Very clean and the rooms were nicely decorated with comfy beds. Staff were very friendly and went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed. Location is close to downtown and all the gas stations and grocery/convenience stores.

I stay here often for work and enjoy it every time. Is incredibly clean and neat, family run and they are always very friendly and greet me by name. The pool is refreshing and hot tub delightful after my workout. Breakfast varies but is always tasty. With excellent fruit choices and great hot coffee. I wouldn't stay anywhere else Neillsville is very lucky to have them.

Finally a hotel with no carpet. Very clean. Delicious breakfast with a great variety from waffles to eggs and bacon. Staff were friendly and very accommodating. Someone in my group left their AirPods in the room, but we didn’t realize it. We didn’t even get 1/2 houraway and the hotel staff were already calling to let us know. Pool area and hot tub were also very clean.

Stayed on two separate occasions, 1st night went well for the expectations and the breaksfast went well, hardworking front staff lady helped keep things fresh. Second occasion which was this weekend was fine for sleeping, but the morning breakfast was all out of food by 9 and the staff member at the front desk he just sat there and watched a game on his phone. Spoiled milk for the cereal on top of it. 1/5 my expectations where low but they somehow still missed the mark.

Lower your expectations before checking in. No staff to help, and we waited over 45 to get checked in due to the lack of staff, room had no paper tower or towels witch it was very odd. For breakfast, you're better off going to a gas station and will find better food, half of their products were out of order right when they opened, for the price they charge is ridiculous, and I will not recommend this hotel at all.

We had a very nice stay in Neillsville. The hotel was nicely renovated and extremely clean. The family that runs the hotel was friendly and accommodating. A nice pool area too. Breakfast was as good as any offered with the Covid guidelines. I appreciated the fresh fruit and pastry choices. I felt it was a great deal for the price and a convenient location right off the 10. Probably a great stop if you’re visiting the High Ground or old friends. Will stay again in the near future.

This was the best hotel we stayed in for quite sometime! The staff was very personable and helpful.Our room was clean and well maintained.The breakfast area was clean and the options were plentiful.I can tell that Mr. Patel takes pride in running the establishment and it was very much appreciated.Our only regret was that we stayed only one night!

This is an older hotel that has been remodeled. The owner/manager(?) And all of his staff were very friendly, got us anything we requested. Our room was clean, had a small microwave and small refrigerator. The complimentary breakfast had fruit, yogurt, waffle maker, cereal, juices, hot cocoa, coffee, milk, and a few other things. I will definitely stay here again when i return.

We arrived from out of state @ 1am for a family funeral @ 10am. We received excellent and quick service checking in and because this hotel doesn't have an elevator, the gentleman even helped us carry our items up to our room on 2nd floor. 😄 They filled my request before arrival for a couple extra pillows. We went to sleep & then enjoyed the breakfast before our family funeral. Upon returning to the hotel and deciding to go for a hike we encountered hotel employees out painting parking lot lines and planting new greenery outside. The inside of the whole hotel is very clean, decor is pleasant and relaxing. Exactly what we needed! The employees Customer service skills are extremely good, responsive, personable and receptive. The hotel REALLY needs to add an elevator to accommodate handicapped individuals, even though there are only 2 floors at this hotel. We would come back here in a heart beat! This might be the nicest Super 8 I have ever stayed at. We were in town for a high school reunion. This motel was very clean. A lot of it was freshly painted. It was comfortable and quiet. The staff was helpful and friendly. The breakfast was fine for me. I would stay here again.

I base my one star review on the disgustingly appalling behavior of managment and staff. When confronted with a guest concern, the manager responded by aggressively screaming in my face in the lobby of the hotel and in front of multiple hotel guests because he disagreed. His behavior is irrational, inappropriate, and unprofessional. Not to mention the fact that I'm pretty sure his reaction was because I am a female and he thought by screaming in my face he would intimidate me.What was the guest concern you might wonder? At check in I was told the cost of my room was $179 per night, however, upon entering my actual room I noticed a sign posted on the door inside the room stating the rate was $125 per night for that specific room. I came to the front desk with my concern and was told the sign was 3 years old. Regardless, if the sign was inaccurate, then they had 3 years to remove it. This is false advertisement. The above paragraph was the response I received. As you can see by the response below the entitled manager still thinks I shouldn't be allowed to leave a one star review regardless of his disturbing behavior towards me. As I am sure I am not the first to leave a review regarding the manager, I will finish my review by saying this. ABSOLUTLEY DO NOT STAY HERE UNLESS YOU LIKE BEING LIED TO, STOLEN FROM, AND DISRESPECTED.

Customer service was quite bad when it came to certain issues. The breakfest was really really small and what they had was mostly stale. My blanket had stains all over it so it was hard to trust the beds at all. If you really need a place to stay it's fine but if you can chose another place please do.

My stay at this location exceeded my normal travel expectations. The room was pleasant, warm but not overly, very clean and comfortable. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. HOWEVER, I'm still smiling, a week later, because on Saturday morning, a cold and blustery day with new snowfall, the manager/owner took a blower and cleaned snow and ice off vehicles in his parking lot - including mine! I am still astounded! This thoughtful act blew me away! I'm so very grateful for his kind assistance - and for the fact that I simply got in my car and headed out. This was a first in all my travels through snowy climes. I'll stay here again when needing to be in Central Wisconsin. This was well above and beyond! Thanks, again.

I didn't have high expectations for a Super 8, and this location about met those expectations. The room was clean and bathroom nice. Beds were a little too soft, android the room was freezing, even after turning up the thermostat. The experience was fine, I would stay again if needed, but nothing to write home about.
