Finally tried this place on a rainy Thursday afternoon during a Badgers Big 10 tournament basketball game. Newly updated but still maintained the perfect dive bar atmosphere. The bathrooms were super clean. It looked clean and organized behind the bar. Food ingredients looked and tasted fresh. Hubby had the philly because he can't say no to cheese sauce, and I had the newer to the menu southwest wrap with crispy chicken which was HUGE and delicious. Homemade chips were super thin and crispy and not burnt tasting like some can often be. Tracy behind the bar gave us great service. We will be back!

Friendly bar staff that were very attentive on a busy Friday night. A nice community atmosphere, all patrons near our party were so friendly and very willing to mention how delicious the Friday Fish Fry is…especially the Perch! Walleye, Perch, Bluegill, Catfish and Shrimp entrees options

My husband and I went to dinner last night, I had made reservations on their website and received a text to verify. When we walked in, the waitress said could take a seat anywhere and I stated "we have a reservation" and she said "we don't do that"???? (Bad start, right?) Well, started out that I asked what other "smoked meats" were available as is stated on website and menu-Saturday specials: Prime rib and other smoked meats. She said we don't do that??? (Getting worse) so we both got the prime rib. It came with choice of potato, soup or salad, so my husband got the salad and I got the french onion soup and she said would be an up charge and on bill was an additional $4.00??? The prime rib was sub par, best thing was potato. Meanwhile, in middle of dinner, big group of 8-10 were at bar and looking for a table, well behind us was a big open spot, but decided to put RIGHT NEXT to us!!! Very disruptive, rude and did not understand why. Unfortunately will not ever be coming back to this place again!!! Needs much fixing!!

Loved this place. Cadence (in pictures) is rivaling me for the “far too skinny” award. LOL. Fun, friendly, good food. Busy though, but not too busy. I’m definitely getting one of those shirts. Directions: Right off 16 west, take C to the left. I have nothing else to say … it’s great.

My wife and I had dinner here on Saturday 12/9 with another couple and we all ordered the queen cut prime rib. We all ordered it medium rare. Three of us ordered the French onion soup and all three were luke warm at best. Then for the potatoes two ordered baked potatoes and two ordered tots. All entrees ended up coming with baked potatoes. When we brought this up to the waitress she said she would bring us out the tots. It took 15 minutes for the tots to come. We were almost finished by the time they came. The prime ribs that were ordered medium rare all came out medium to medium well and flavorless. We weren’t even considering sending them back but we did bring it to the waitresses attention and she really could have cared less. All she said was oh. Sorry.All in all this was a very terrible experience and I can assure you we will not go back. There are too many other options available to even try them again.

Friday Fish Fry ~ It was really nice to be seated in a timely manner on a busy Fish Fry Friday night. The old fashion was good but would be better with freshly muddled cherries and oranges. Fish was o.k., dry but flavor was good. They ran out of potato pancakes which was fine because the ones we saw others eating looked burnt. So we ordered baked potatoes and they were horrible. How can you mess up a baked potato? Not washing it? Maybe they should coat the outside with a little olive oil or lard and sprinkle some herbs on it? Coleslaw was bland and did not seem to be homemade. Prices were reasonable. Service was very good and location convenient. Hopefully we just hit an off night and will try again another day.

Been here multiple times for breakfast ALWAYS EXCELLENT!!!! PRIME rib and egg special was phenomenal. Had steak and eggs skillet most recently, perfect scrambled eggs, very tender and delicious steak.

Came here twice in the last 5 days while helping family move to the area the one day they had outdoor entertainment and were cooking outside so you had to go out to get your food and than choose to eat outside or in we choose inside. The second time we went for a late lunch and it was regular service inside. On the first trip we had burgers and half chickens with sides of Cole slaw and beans everyone agreed the chicken was excellent as were the sides the burgers were ok to some and a little under done to others but still good food particularly good was the feelings about the chicken. On the second stop we ordered cheese curds for an appitizer and 2 pizza's and 2 orders of chicken wings for 5 people. The cheesecurds were excellent that was everybody's opinion the 2 ladies who ordered the chicken wings said they were outstanding and the 2 cheese and Pepperoni pizza's which everyone tried were also excellent. It is an excellent sports bar with great food and great atmosphere. I cannot remember the name of the gentlemen who waited on us Wednesday but he was a gas and made the meal even more enjoyable I hope your lucky enough to have him wait on you.

The service was excellent. The fried fish was perfect. I personally loved that the french fries were natural cut and not the greasy "seasoned" coated fries that a lot of places serve. I'll keep going here for a long time.

We came here for a ladies dinner out and had great food and enjoyed our server Kristine. My friend was cold and she offered her a sweater. She was a great!!

Friendly service and the food was very good. If you don't like the mask mandate this place is for you. This is the sign they have posted. We had an entire room to ourselves so it didn't bother me.

The seasoned fish fry and potato pancakes are by far the best around! The coleslaw and potato salad are also delicious. Atmosphere is decent as well. However, my significant other watched one of the male hosts use the bathroom then walk out without washing his hands, and immediately went to roll silverware! Absolutely disgusting! That’s my reason for subtracting one star. Please train your staff to wash their hands and hold them to higher standards of health and safety!

Really good food. Seriously beyond bar food, one of the best places to dine in the area. Decent variety on tap and cocktails atypical. Slots. Decent atmosphere; mix of local drinkers of all classes and those passing by. Great spot despite the vaguely offensive name.

The food, the ambiance, the service have all greatly declined. When you can walk in on Friday night for Fish Fry and all the table are open, you know its bad. Loved it as Nashotah ClubHouse and when they served lake perch, not frozen ocean perch that smells fishy. And the place looks terrible. Who puts in skull light fixtures in lake country?? So sad what has happened to this place. Use to be a lake country gem. Now its an embarrassment.

First we were ignored for about 5 minutes finally put our drink orders in. Then another 10 minutes went by another server asked us if we ordered. Another 5 minutes we finally got our drinks a beer and a glass of wine. If the place would have been packed I understand but there were 6 people at tables and a group of 6 outside with 2 servers a manager and bartender. It was like watching Bar Rescue!

I sure wish I would have received my Ranch Side for my To Go, Honey Mustard wings tonight. My fault for not checking, but I shouldn't have to. It would have been tolerable, if the wings had enough sauce to make up for it, but that did not happen either! Not a good experience. As an owner, how can you be ok with the the tremendous discrepancy between customer perceived value, and finished product?

Awful, awful service. I have been in here twice. Each time, 2 different bartenders had their backs turned to their customers. Waited a good 5 minutes each time to be served. Most recent service, the bartender Tracey thought it would be nice to serve herselfa shot while I sat there with an empty drink. Then proceeded to serve the 3 regular guys before she acknowledged me because I had to speak up. She then tried to make excuses that I walked away and was talking to someone. I never left the bar!! Never will be back!! Short staffed or not. The bartenders should not be drinking behind the bar and serving themselves before their customers.
