Let me preface this by saying this is a review of Riverdale Ag as a business and not any of their products or services (although I am sure both deserve equally high acknowledgments).Riverdale Ag is the epitome of a well-run, family business. I'm a new small business owner within the agricultural industry just trying to get my name out there to advertise the products and services I'm able to offer. I swung into the office and met a really nice gentleman named Dave and shortly discovered he is the owner/manager of the company. I gave him kind of a sales pitch, which I'm not great at but working on, and was met with a very positive conversation. He directed me to speak with his son's, Nick and John. I contacted Nick and was given the chance to tell him a little about myself and my company which I was grateful for especially this time of the year. It wasn't even a week later that I was contacted by a prospective customer and boy was I (and still am) excited. I also felt grateful knowing my business cards weren't simply thrown in the waste bin.I've spoken with a number of agricultural service providers in the area and none of them was as welcoming as this one. Some didn't even want to hear me speak which I took as constructive criticism to do better. I've also spoken with a number of local farmers in my area about Riverdale Ag, and they ALL have had a good experience with their products and services. Judging by their reviews, and local farmers this isn't just anecdotal. This is exactly how I aim to run my business. I look forward to thanking them in person when I purchase food plot material this year.Sorry I'm not going to plug my business. I just want to provide you, the reader, a glimpse into how they operate. While other providers in the area were immediately defensive thinking my business is a potential competitor, Riverdale Ag perhaps see it as the accompaniment that it truly is.Thank you for your time in reading this.-Brandon

I highly recommend going to this business. I usually get bird and squirrel food in Madison. I ran out but didn't want the long drive. So, I thought I'll try locally. I was extremely impressed. The prices were the same as Madison. The employees are very pleasant and they load your purchases for you. The money I saved in gas paid for a big bag of bird food. I drove away with a big smile and the rest of the day open for myself.
