Since I own several dogs I drive an hour for dental cleaning since it saves me money. The care is excellent and the staff very accommodating . They know that I can't easily go home and return so they do my pups directly so my wait isn't too long. Fun little towns nearby to visit and nice Amish farm market to visit in summer. Lucky for me Rural Route popcorn is across the road so can buy my favorite snack!

Like many veterinary services, they are very busy. However, when our dog had signs of a UTI last fall, they were the ONLY ones who gave us the option to bring in a urine sample without an appointment. We jumped on it because appointments from Madison to Montfort were weeks to months out and we wanted our girl feeling better. We took in the sample, had it tested and got meds the same day. She was feeling better within days. Fast forward to this fall and our fur baby had some another UTI. This time she wasn't improving but they worked with us to get her in for an X-ray right away. Poor girl has bladder stones and they booked her for surgery THE NEXT DAY. Our B had a rough start in life - she is a rescue pup that was placed in a home that didn't work out. We got her at 18months and she had a LOT of anxiety. We have worked with her for the last two years and made huge improvements to her anxiety but she still struggles with some things. The ladies at Montfort vet worked with us to be sure B was the only one in the reception at any given time, made her feel comfortable through every step and loved on her like she was their own. She is home now, recovering and thankful for the wonderful Dr. Megan and staff. Her human siblings are so thankful she is on the mend. My spouse and I are thankful she is on the mend, thankful they were reasonably priced and thankful they were able to work with our schedules and B's anxiety. We cannot thank Montfort Vet staff enough. If you are reading this because you need a vet - you have found the right place! Thank you MV team!!

Dr. Megan is amazing. She made my dog, Millie so comfortable in a very stressful situation. She answered all of my questions and beyond, she helped me to understand the diagnosis, and give me peace of mind. I set up a appointment, this company did not disclose with me that if I did not show up I would have too pay a $20 something bill. Then when I arrive too address the situation. A Karen came out and started giving me a attitude for being professional. She was very rude for the only fact that I was surprised that I was not told a few words about the fee on a no show. They are not as good as they say they are Brittany is very rude to you if you have questions about anything. Never again will the have my business. Save you're money and you're animals suffering from bad practice

Snowball received treatment for Lyme disease and is back to his Lil Dog self. Wonderful place all the way around

These hacks used the wrong stitch material which led to both my dogs having major infections. My puggle went septic because of this and all they did was treat him for pain. When he was about to have a septic burst, he then had to have two life-saving procedures to drain all the infectious abscess fluids. Both of my dogs now have permanent embedded fishing line coming out of their bellys nearly 2 months later.

Today was my first visit with Montfort Vet Services and Dr. Meghan. From the moment we walked in the door every staff member we met was phenomenal. Dr. Meghan asked all the right questions and helped me trouble shoot the joys of having a new puppy after 15 years of no pets. The care my animal got was very good but I do not care to wait in the care when who knows what is happening. Other vets allow you to come it with your pet and escort you both to a room when they are ready for you. They send someone to the car to escort you in. That's the way I like it.

Dr Meghan and the staff at MVS are absolutely incredible with our dogs.She takes the time to get to know them and they love her. She will get down on the floor with them and let's them come to her as they feel comfortable and while she gives them attention she will do a "sneaky" exam and they don't even realize what she is doing.I am not joking at all, but our dogs get excited when we tell them we are going to see Dr Meghan.It's not just her though, the entire staff from reception to vet assistants and techs are all very friendly and accomodating. The prices are great as well.They have on site blood work and x-ray so it eliminates a lot of referrals to other vets or the UW for additional diagnostics.

I took my English lab to get her nails clipped here. It was quiet and clean. The staff were extremely friendly with me and calm with my dog. The service took only a few minutes. It was a wonderful experience for both of us.

We used to go to the vet that was about 15 min away- always felt pushed into buying additional tests we hadn't come in for. Montfort vet staff don't do that...They don't give me the stink eye for giving my dogs a 7-way at home. They're Always polite, always professional.

They will do anything for a dog in need. My dog needs surgery and I knew I couldn't afford it. They gave me the cost just under $200. They have plenty of staff so no waiting. Totally recommend.

Can't say enough good things about Montfort Vet. They recently saved our cat Teddy who had been hit by a car. Dr. Meghan Brokopp called often, kept us informed about his diagnosis, prognosis, and progress. All the staff is friendly and caring. I'm still laughing about the fact that the day of Teddy's accident, we just put him in a basket of laundry and took him in. When we picked him up to come home, my laundry was done and folded. I couldn't believe it. The best thing, Teddy was a little rough around the edges but he's going to be okay.

You can tell they care. When you ask questions they always try to answer them. They also remember details of your pets and never make you feel like you're a terrible pet parent. I feel less stressed for my pets when we go here.
