I was lucky enough to happen upon a cookie walk, with dozens of homemade Christmas cookies. Kathleen was so helpful and sweet, patiently answering all my wuestiond. I left with a great cup of coffee, a full box of beautiful assortment of holiday cookies to share with my family and a delicious, nutty/seedy loaf of bread. I will certainly be back!

Kathleen is the sweetest lady you will ever meet. she has the nicest little bakery. I got chicken street tacos, and it was amazing. next time you're in montello, you have to try it. also, the eclair I had was great

This is my 2nd visit to this hidden treasure!! I bought a bracelet in the gift shop 1st visit, and today I bought 2 loaves of rye bread( which is absolutely delicious), one for the freezer and one for right now!! I have to tell you about the gift shop...it has very unique gifts, many things for Christmas stockings...and the bakery is just as special...items you don't always see...please stop in and see for yourself how wonderful this shop is!! Montello..you are so fortunate to have her....

Popped in for a look see yesterday while on our way home from River country Animal Wellness , Dr Roxi vet. A delightful shop with pastries that look great. We took several pieces home for desert. YUM , We plan to visit the backery again soon.

My husband and I had a delightful lunch here on St. Patrick's Day, guiness stew, sweet Irish Soda Bread with red currants and whiskey butter, and a little Bailey's Cream cheesecake for dessert. The place was beautifully decorated for the day, very festive, and the staff are lovely.We'll definitely be back!

What a great place with cool decor in downtown Montello that serves coffees, pies, breads and other bakery items. The outside doesn't do this place justice. Just passing through and saw the sign for Christmas Cookies, so stopped and got a box for $10. Everyone enjoyed them for the Holidays.

We have visited Kathleen's four times now and every time had delectable fresh bakery. Have purchased sour dough breads, apple, cherry and raspberry turnovers which were all wonderful! Also tried the fresh raspberry pie and it was awesome. Very clean inside and friendly staff waited on us. Thank you!

Sourdough bread is very good, my husband really likes it. I am gluten free and they did not have any gluten free breads. They sometimes have cookies that are gluten free not sure of any other gluten free products. .The breads are very pretty as well.

Unusual varieties of bread, cookies, turnovers. I was offered two samples of bread, both were delicious. I delivered the bread to four households and everyone was amazed at the flavor of bread.This is worth the stop, make it a destination.

Very nice inside. Ordered a cinnamon roll, price not posted, over paid at $3.00. It was kinda flat and small, certainly not the way Grandma would have made them.

Very nice inside have a grid variety of things. They just need to take things out of the oven about 3 to 5 minutes earlier. Every time I go in their stuff is over cooked

Kathleen happily takes special requests, and makes delicious gf options, even vegan if you request it.Vegetarian options: Special ordered vegan gf cheesecake was amazing. So are the flat breads.
