Wow! This is the Ace hardware I remember! We're new to the area, and went to Monroe WI to check out Ace, and felt like we were in Hardware Heaven. The staff working the floor were ready to help, and the variety of merchandise was amazing. I just bought a fixer-upper, and I know where I will be purchasing what I need.

This hardware store is in a small town in Southeastern Wisconsin. They have the friendliest, most knowledgeable staff! It may be a smaller building than what we commonly see in the Milwaukee area, but it's very well organized and there is a LOT in there. 💥

Go there only because I have to. The store would be fine for a small town, but the employees are awful. I would say 90% of them seem to either hate their job or just hate people. I choose to go somewhere else if I can just to avoid mostly the two cashiers that are there most of the time because they are just the worst, ornery people.

People in the store are friendly and help you. They will go out of their way to help you solve problem. The store is much larger than it looks from the outside. Surprisingly large inventory. I needed screw for a specific type and the clerk helped me find what I could use. Store has a large amount of gardening equipment and supplies. Bird feeding supplies all year long.

Actually,no stars would be more appropriate!!Stopped in with an elderly neighbor who was shopping for a new snowblower.After milling around the snowblowers with no employees in sight I finally went to the nearest counter (key making area) and inquired to the gentleman there if anyone could answer some questions about the snowblowers to which his response was"not today" before walking away in the opposite direction.Is that your your facilities answer to being...the helpful hardware man?Very happy to say you lost 2 customers and their friends and families that day.And oh yeah she gladly spent her $800. dollars where the people could spare a little time.Oh,and dont bother with your conciliatory response to this post which everyone knows is just to try and look better.Hope this didn't take up too much of your precious time.thanks

Stopped in toget some wallpaper sizing. It seems on one sells sizing anymore, guess it has been 26 years since I've hung any, the things you can learn from Franklin at ACE in Monroe. The staff is very friendly, and the have just about anything your looking for. Great shop!

They always someone available to help you out. It's my go to place for nuts and bolts. Great selection of Weber grill and The Big Green Egg cooking accessories. This the place we always stop to get our paint. Make sure to have them record the color and type of paint you bought for future reference. Your future self will thank you.

UPS shipping! NOTE- if you only have a QR code and no shipping label they cannot ship/package!Not going to give a lower rating because they do have decently priced things there and a variety of items. However, when I went in to look at paint samples there was 1 person by the door and 3 people sitting down talking by the paint. I was not greeted or asked if I needed any help. Will not let one bad experience reduce the number of stars but was disappointing.

Very easy to drop off UPS box for an Amazon return here. Was even told approximately when the next pick up would be. Nice staff and they appear to be a neatly stocked store for hardware goods, too.

They had what I needed but holy expensive. I didn't do much shopping because i only needed a few things but the gutter hangers were about double the price of Menards or home Depot and almost 3x the price from my supplier . They were nice hangers but at that price they should almost hang themselves.

A Very Good Store - This store has items you can't find at other stores in town. The customer service here is excellent. The store is well organized and neat. The only down side I know of is... most of the prices are high. I would highly recommend this store to everyone.

Dave was quite rude to my family today. I am not sure whether he was exasperated to be helping a woman, or he simply doesn’t listen to customers in general.We bought our supplies at your nearest competitor where we were treated with respect. Too bad, Dave— these ladies spend a LOT of money at hardware stores! But not yours! Don’t be a Dave! Everyone else was fine.

Always a go to when farm and fleet doesn't have things. But one day, my dad ordered a grill, they were supposed to deliver the grill, but I was in town I picked it up. They didnt have anything to tie it down with, so I had to pay 8 dollars for bungee cords to hold it down. Associates could be just a little more prepared for a customer that doesn't have anything to tie down something in there vehicle

Always helpful here. I needed a post and screw for a garden tool. An associate located what I needed and put it on so the tool would be ready to use. It's helpful to have what you need fixed or a part for with you.
