I would give it 0 starts if I could! AMY HOLST is THE WORST cashier I have ever had to experience. Terrible attitude, absolutely 0 customer service skills and very confrontational. Waited at the check out for 5 minutes while I could hear her having a conversation with the other employee after squeezing the toy for service she then screamed out that "she was coming" but not before finishing her "very important" conversation. After getting to the counter continued to make snide remarks about us while in front of us and not even ringing up our SINGLE item and finally I started giving back what she was handing out which was nothing but a rude bad attitude . She was looking for a fight and honestly almost got one. She should be fired

Was in today and Amy the cashier was horsing around will checking out people. swear a couple difference times will i was waitting to check out and one point even stopped and walking away from the cash register in the middle of checking a person out to pet a dog that was in the store.

Stopped in tonight at 7:45...door was locked. I just needed to pop in for 3 min. Why is the door locked when it's posted open til 8?

This store is small so the selection is limited. I wish they had more craft items, seasonal decor and storage container options. There is no freezer or refrigerated section. Seriously wish corporate would consider expanding. I think they would get the business needed to support.Also, no one is happy with the price increase. It's not just a quarter. It is a 25% increase! Typically a business would do a 5-10% increase.But the store itself is well maintained, clean and organized. The employees are always super helpful. If I had any complaint it would be that several times the bathrooms were out of order. As I have medical issues, I sometimes need access to a bathroom quickly. I choose stores where I can count on this accessibility. I hope they have able to resolve this ongoing problem.

Went here today for the first time in probably 5 years with my mom and dad. The shopping experience was fine, we found what we were looking for easily. The store's real turnoff was when we got to the cash register. The girl at the register was someone I recognized because she used to go to the same school as me. She was complaining about something involving the store to which I was like... okay?? Then when we got up there she couldn't figure out that 20.64 minus 17.64 was 3 dollars, and she was actually visibly checking her phone's text messages. When she couldn't figure out the change, my mom told her and the girl replied with a sorry and went on to complain about how she and a manager are going to be quitting today because another manager is going to be coming back to work there and she is a, to quote her, "b-word". Overall the cashier should NOT be working in customer service if you are going to complain about your job to more than one customer, talk about quitting to customers, and also be checking your phone in front of customers. Also the front windows were disgustingly dirty, looked like they have not been cleaned in years.

The cashier askes the customer to get stuff off the belt so she can ring it up. She has insulted another customer and also was on her phone instead of waiting on customers. I will not shop iat the dollar tree in Monroe again.

Completely the worst store of lately. Came here three days in a row sat various of hours for someone to unlock the doors as they are supposed to be open I have sat anywhere from 1 to 2 hours anywhere from 12 and later I have come 2x a day last 3 days wasting my gas the girl says she locks the door to use the bathroom but it is lie as it's been locked for hours and the bathroom keys are visible from the window. I have watched 15 people standing at the door for over 30 minutes to leave empty handed they have lost more then 25 customers last few days and I've counted and they can check the security cameras. So whomever manages this store should come check their employees as this place is becoming a joke

A year ago this review would have been 5 stars. As of today, it’s real hard to shop at a store who says their hours are Monday-Saturday 9:30 am to 5 pm and then locks their doors before 4:30 pm. Super inconvenient as the stores hours are already weird. I even called to confirm the hours and the phone rang, got answered, and then hung up the second it was answered. I get it being short staff but to close the doors before the posted sign without a note saying they’re closed early and hanging up on someone is just rude.

The store is rarely open. Have witnessed many customers walking away. Hours on doors posted open, but locked. Everyone talks as we walk away wondering what’s going on. Either close it for good or open posted hours.

I like the things they have and the prices associated with them, but this experience really made me debate ever showing up there again. I recently lost my job so I went to in to inquire about the interview I was given a couple weeks prior. The woman on checkout paged the manager to come out and talk with me. She came walking to the front of the store holding a big metal shelf and had the nastiest look on her face. She came over to me and was immediately rude to me. I explained to her my situation and why I was back. She told me she didn't believe a word I was saying, calling me a liar, and proceeded to tell me distinct details about my last job as if she's had someone out watching me since my interview. It was creepy. She then got very rude saying that the guy that interviewed me isn't allowed to hire anyone, but in my interview said he would hire me if I could get the hours I could work for him. I had no idea she was the only hiring manager. After being so rude all I had to say was "If you don't want to hire me, I can leave." I didn't want to be talked to as if I was being threatened. The worst experience I've ever had with a manager in my entire life. This was also held in front of everyone in the store and not even in the back room where it was private. Lost a potential employee and a customer. Her name is Linda by the way. Hope this helps anyone looking for a job that is drama-free (which she also said she doesn't like, go figure) and laid back. Don't apply here. A waste of time and degrading.

Can't shop if the store isn't open. Sign claims hours are Tues-Sat 9:30-5pm. Here on a Wed at 2pm, lights on doors locked. A Lot of others are here and have come and gone while it's been locked up. Very disappointing.

The store manager is really great and so are the employees the products they sell especially the .50 cards are a great benefit for those struggling in the community.

2:30pm Thursday June 9th....came when the hrs suggest it's open and the doors are locked. Several others tried door while I wrote this...no excuse on the door and lites are all on. What gives? Do I bother with this store anymore? No one answered phone either. This place is a joke. I'm so frustrated with its changing hrs and then no one here to open when hrs are advertised.

I love Dollar Tree - it's the best dollar store - always clean, organized and well stocked. This store in Monroe is super clean, has good lighting, friendly people, is organized and has a great variety of merchandise. It 's a pleasant experience to shop at Dollar Tree in Monroe.

Either change your hours or be open when your listed to open. Seriously. So many people have been waiting outside and then leaving because they weren't open when they've listed they would be. Waited half an hour only to still not be open after opening time.

Our local Dollar Tree is always kept neat and clean. The employees are courteous and helpful. They have a variety of item's in the store.

Never open when they say they will. Hours on door states 9-5 Tuesday through Saturday at the Monroe WI store. And here many people are waiting outside and they are not open, and nobody is answering the phone. The new manager here is rude to everyone
