I decided to give Aldi's a try since so many people have told me how great their produce is. I bought 3 pineapples to dehydrate. I have never seen a bad pineapple until I got these. If one was bad, that would have been almost acceptable. All three were brown and mushy. They also had a funny smell. I know they were only $2.00 a piece, but I didn't get $6.00 worth of pineapple. I got $6.00 of compost material. The only reason that I am giving three stars is because of the high praise I have heard from family and friends.

As a senior citizen and a decorated veteran who served in combat, I blew my cool today while at Aldi in Monroe, WI. A young sissy boy employee came at me wagging his finger, yelling "You can't do that, you can't do that" after I opened the outside door to get in the store. I had a few choice words for him because at my age I wll never allow myself to be treated like a child by someone who doesn't show respect to someone more than twice his age. He got upset at my language, and didn't know how to handle the situation. So he had to go get the manager leaving other shoppers standing outside. It immediately became clear to me why so many young men in the country are infertile.I cannot recommend this store not only for an employee showing disrespect to a senior, and for not knowing how to defuse a situation, but also for not hiring adults to deal with the public. If I were the manager, I'd take this employee and teach him how to treat people in the real world or get rid of him. This was a perfect example of a kid who spends too much time online.

Clean restrooms, clean atmosphere, lower prices than Freeport, and friendly staff. Fresh produce and good selection. Nice place to get what you need and save a bunch of money.

I was shopping with my 90 year old client who has extreme dementia. She asked for help finding butter. The shelf was empty and no workers to be found. She went to the checkout and politely asked for help. There was a huge line and only one check out attendant. Raul was extremely kind and patient with her and radioed for help while continuing to check out customers. Chris, the lady who eventually helped us wouldn't even respond when she told her thank you.. talk about a difference in humanity. I understand it's an inconvenience and you're busy but can't we all just show a little love and patience to our elders?! We will all be there one day soon enough. Many thanks to you Raul for making our trip a little bit easier!!

Great Aldi. Wide aisles. Well organized. Only drawback is a narrow aisle near frozen foods. Checkout is quick and staff is attentive to growing lines.

Always a great fruit & veggies. Got a whole beef tenderloin for 50% off so only $4.50 a pound. Served it with fresh asparagus and bearnaise along with toasty garlic bread, was it tasty.

GREAT PLACE TO SHOP VERY KIND STAFF ALWAYS HELPFUL IN SHOWING YOU WHERE THINGS ARE MY FIRST TIME THERE IN A WHILE SINCE THEY REMODELED THE STORE ALOT MORE SELECTIONS JUST WISH THEY WOULD GET IN MORE TEX MEX TAMALES IN THE CORN TUSK THEY ARE AWESOME 12 TO A BAG THE CLOSEST THING TO CHICAGO STYLE TAMALES BUT EVERYTHING WAS PERFECT THE ONLY OTHER THING WHEN THEY GET REALLY CROWDED THEY CAN USE A FEW EXTRA PEOPLE TO WORK THERE ESPECIALLY WHEN THEY HAVE PEOPLE WITH 2 CARTS FULL THEY WORK AS FAST AS THEY CAN BUT IT'S ALOT OF WORK ON JUST 2 PEOPLE THEY CAN USE SOME EXTRA HELP BUT I GIVE IT UP TO THE WORKERS THEY WORK VERY HARD AND THE STORE IS VERY ORGANIZED AND CLEAN I WILL BE SHOPPING THERE MORE OFTEN NOW THANK YOU TO THE STAFF FOR YOUR SERVICE AND HOSPITALITY TO ME

Great value! The prices are very low, and the quality is good! The associates are friendly and work extremely hard. You might have to wait a bit in the checkout line, but that's true of any business in a smaller town like Monroe. Aldi is a great store and a lifesaver for groceries!

They were great about Covid at first --sanitizing carts, counting people allowed in the store. They stopped sanitizing carts and I asked why. An employee said they are still sanitizing carts, just in a different way (?) But people are just returning carts like before. The next person puts on a quarter and takes it. There is no sanitizing.

Pay attention to nutrition facts! It may be cheaper but nutrition on name or generic brands at other stores may be way better. Consitiency of their products is not good (ie-cookies, butter, cottage cheese). Fresh fruit does not seem to last as long or look/taste as good. Their paper towels are good! Decent prices on lawn and garden and kids toys

Like all places the prices have gone up. They do have an organic section now if you are into that. And lots of new item that are not food- they have gotten more of that over the last couple of years. Am sad that a staple i used to get is not there any more. Small boxes of breaded shrimp.

Grocery store designed for easy stocking & minimal labor costs, which relate to consumer savings. Monroe location has a very nice produce selection. Daily staples easily accessible for rapid come & go stops.Bring a quarter for the shopping cart & your own bags, as you bag your own items.

Staff is Always friendly, no matter how busy they are. Good choice of food item, some you don't see anywhere else. Those you do see elsewhere are less expensive and better quality here, in many cases. Aldi's is very health conscious.

I love shopping here. I can get a fridge full of healthy fresh food for my family for under $100.00. I can go to a different store and get maybe half the amount of items for that price, plus not fresh. I recommend shoppinh here.

I went in and purchased a 1/2 gallon of milk todayI gave the cashier $2,00 for the purchase of the milk that cost $1.47, she gave me .50 cents back. I said you still owe me 3 cents she got all huffy and stated she didn't any pennies. I said that's not my problem cash is the legal tender of the UNITED STATES OF AMERICA!!!! She opened her drawer and slapped a nickel in my hand very rudely stating we don't have pennies. 2 cemts too much now. Now I shop quite frequently at this Aldi's never seen this employee beforeBut I have the right to pay in cash and receive the correct change. NOT EVERYONE HAS A DEBIT OR CREDIT CARD!!!!! If they do it's their choice on how to pay..NOT THE STORE TO BE DICTATING WHICH WAY A CUSTOMER WILL PAY TIME. Time to get back to customer service, I'll be rethinking my decision to shop at Monroe Aldi's
