I love this place they are the only places that I have found bigger fish at unbelievable low in price.The owners are extremely customer friendly and will help you with any questions. If they don't have what you are looking for they will recommend other places to check out. I have had the BEST experience with them. If you want to get fish or get in the fish hobby go to the GOLDEN GUPPY, they will help you get started.....

I just found these guys a few weeks ago, they are far and away the best place in town to get your fish, plants & aquarium supplies.The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, the tanks are beautiful, and the inhabitants look happy & healthy.Sure, you could go to one of the "box stores" and save a couple bucks (literally just a couple), or you could support a local business that provides far better service, and a more pleasant shopping experience, and also has a much better selection of aquatic life.

Friendly! Store ( extremely helpful over the phone and in person.) I had a very large order of beautiful shrimp, shrimp hatchlings and aquatic plants to send from the store in Madison to Marquette, MI overnight service. Very, very, very happy with the shrimp health and plants - they were able to tolerate the overnight shipping. :)I cannot say enough positive things about Katie and Tristan…Thank you SO much for your help and kindness :)

I stopped in today and met Cody who is the owner and was pleasantly surprised! Cody has been in the fish business for many years and is very knowledgeable. All of their fish look very healthy. Cody was very helpful and I left with about 20 fish and some supplies for my aquariums. I will be back and highly recommend Golden Guppy!

Everyone here is the kindest, most knowledge soul ever!! I've become a regular here just because of the amazing stock of local mystery snails they have! Although the floor space is on the smaller side, they’ve maximized its utility - this shop has plenty to offer! The owner and employees are friendly and offer help but aren’t overwhelming by any account. The knowledge they offer is great! An excellent choice for aquarium owners of any level and size.

I can’t say enough good things about this place. The owner, Cody, is super amazing, helpful and knowledgeable. He is willing to try and order anything you want and he takes down a note so he can check his order list every time for your fish that you want. Al the tanks are very well maintained with a large variety of fish available. As of writing this review, he is still setting up the saltwater side but already has saltwater fish available. I have got a lot of help and everything I needed to set up a brand new 75g aquarium. By everything I mean EVERYTHING. They had a tank, stand, lids, lights, substrate, rocks, plants, hides, cool decorations, and of course the fish. It was a nice one stop shop to get everything and know that the people who sold it genuinely cared about the health of the fish and how they would be cared for after leaving the shop. 100/10 would recommend stopping by to check it out if you are even just looking for something. I already found a lot of cool fish I haven’t seen available anywhere else and what they have for fish is always changing with cool and harder to find fish being added.

The Golden Guppy an amazing fish store. They have a large selection of fresh water fish and plants. They do also have a wall of salt water fish and coral. The store's Facebook page also posts their inventory when they receive more animals and plants. They also have a reward program where you earn points, which you can redeem for a certain amount of money off.I frequent the store and am always greeted immediately. The staff is very friendly and kind.In addition to fish, plants, and coral; they also have stones, drift wood, shrimps, tanks, and many other fish accessories.

Nice little store, but too much hustle and bustle with the employees. May have been the day I went in. Very nice group of people, though. They are on my list for fish because they carry some fish that others do not carry, and the other LFS stores I go to around the area from Edgerton to Milwaukee has fish Golden Guppy doesn't. This store is a goto. I just wished they would get their inventory on their website.

The coolest, cleanest and nicest (in multiple ways) fish shop I've ever been to. The fish are healthy and well kept, maybe even pampered. Cody helped me figure out a cool aquascape and helped pick out plants for me as a beginner in that area of fish keeping. He even went out of his way to sell me a light from a tank that he knew he could get ordered to save me a trip down (I live almost an hour away). At a discount no less. Service honestly can't be beat and I hope the clientele keeps growing so that this place is open for a looong time!

I've gotten fish and plants from this shop, both of which I adore!Note that the snails who are taking over the tank are from a PetSmart plant that's no longer in the tank.The plants in the tank now are all from Golden Guppy 🙂 they are doing great! I love this store. They have a really great selection and it is always changing. They have a very friendly knowledgeable staff. The store is very clean and as a bonus in winter it is nice and tropical. They also have a rewards program that is easy to use and understand.

Super helpful! We’re new at starting aquarium hobby. Katy took at least an hour on educating the start up process, set up a time line on how to add fish & what we need & most importantly- what we shouldn’t waste our money on. Super staff. Highly recommended!

Stopped by on a whim to check out the store. It is fairly small, but what they lack in size and quantity they make up with quality. Their betta setup is amazing and all of the fish they had were lively and healthy. Walked away with a gorgeous alien betta. The person who helped me(possibly the owner) was friendly and helpful both times I stopped in. Highly recommended.
