Dr Margaret provides first class care for animals with the latest medicine and common sense. My over 120 pound golden retriever made it past 16 years and was active until the end. He swam in a lake every day of the last three days here.

I couldn’t say enough positive things about animal wellness center. The entire staff is very kind and helpful, always willing to answer my questions. When I first brought my dog here she had been going through some health issues and they were extremely reassuring and helped me figure out exactly which path we wanted to go down. I am so so grateful for this staff and would recommend absolutely anyone to take their pets here

Dr Margret is a blessing to all animals. I adopted some cats in early 2022 and she helped me get them on the right track through extreme allergies, and dead canine teeth. She listens, explains, and truly cares about all the people and pets that come through her doors. Having a cat that is allergic to life is hard, but she makes it a bit easier.

Dr. Margaret Meier Jones and her tech, Bailee, are absolutely amazing. Dr. Margaret was very patient, friendly, personable and just so "down to earth." I appreciate how she allowed my dog to become comfortable with her before trying to physically examine her. She laid out all of our options and allowed me to choose which one I wanted to go with. She explained what she was doing before doing it, and why she was doing what she was doing. At the end of our visit, she reiterated what she had done and what the next steps were. I'm excited I found a tradition western medicine Vet who includes alternative and eastern medicine to offer a complementary approach to caring for my furbabes. ❤️

Recently switched to this vet for my dog. The building is very nice and clean. The staff were very courteous and friendly. They were great with my dog and wanted her to feel comfortable. The vet took her time talking with me and in no way seemed rushed. She is very knowledgeable and honest. Definitely holds my dog’s health as priority number one and I love it. Very happy I switched.

By far the best vet I have ever been to!!! The facilities are nice but the level of care is even better! The entire staff is so great with my pets and make you feel really cared for! I moved 5 hours away and still attempt to make my checkup and vaccination appointments with them when I can. They have made transitioning records to other vets in Illinois a breeze as well. I cannot say enough good things about this place!

Very seldomly do I take the time to write a review for either a positive or a negative experience. However, Bailey and the Animal Wellness Center took care of our little dog in emergent fashion when our normal vet refused to see us.We had noticed that Lapua (our dog's name) had been scooting her bottom on the floor... This led to the discovery that she had a plugged anal gland and that it appeared to be very red and possibly infected. Our normal vet would not make time to see her today even after we stated we would happily pay the additional fees for an urgent visit. They informed us that she would be fine until the next day or even the day after. When my wife told me that Lapua was not doing well at all, I hurried home to find her hiding under the bed bleeding. I flew down to Mondovi with a whimpering dog in my lap. Within minutes of arrival Lapua was in back being treated. Although it was too late as her gland ruptured from pressure...Bailey took the time to explain everything to me. I feel terrible that we were not able to prevent poor Lapua from having to endure that kind of pain...That being said, in the future, with the genuine caring and compassion expressed by those at the Animal Wellness Clinic I'm confident that any unnecessary pain will be avoided.Thank you again!

They really do care about their animal patients and listen to any concerns you might have about your pet. They are affordable which is a huge plus! And I love how you can request/ set up an appointment on their website.

Every time we go, there's new staff. Costumer service at the front desk was not good. They asked about my deceased dog, thinking the medications were for her. Not cool. They euthized the dog 2 years ago. I rarely get to see the vet.
