Great views from the outdoor seating. Food was fair. Ordered the steak sandwich as recommended by waitress. Lots of bun, not lots of meat. Meat was fatty. See the photo. Didn’t like the seasoning or the overcooked peppers and onions. Another in our group ordered a bacon burger and liked it but wished it would have been cooked longer. Another ordered the sausage sandwich. He did like the sandwich but lots of bun in comparison to ingredients. Sausage is spicy. But the dough puffs-Yummy!!! Service was slow, I believe there was only 1 waitress for both inside and outside.

This was my 2nd time at this bar/restaurant, my 1st time here was awesome, everything was on point besides waiting an hour and a half for my boyfriend's and my food; it was a super busy night though so that was expected. The Italian beef sandwich was amazing and honestly the best thing we tasted there. However, this 2nd visit was less impressing. We went in around 1-2pm and sat ourselves. Waited a good 15 mins to even see a server, although we could see the cook in the kitchen working away. There were a good handful of people, but definitely not busy. When we did get served, the service was pleasent and the waitress was polite. The food still took about an hour and a half even though it wasn't busy. We ordered an appetizer and those still took about 45 mins. The pizza was ok and the cheese ravioli was obviously a very cheap brand of pre-filled pasta, that seemed to have been microwaved. The meatballs that did come with the ravioli, however, was full of flavor, even if a bit underdone in the middle. I probably won't be coming back although, I did give a 4 star just because it was a wonderful atmosphere, staff was super polite, and some of their food is worth trying.

Fantastic atmosphere, great service. Spaghetti was a little bland but overall food was good. I had the Italian beef(hot) it was just the right amount of heat seasoned well on a nice roll.

Food was surprisingly wonderful, even classy. But the tables and seating need attention. They were playing 2 types of music, one in the bar area and one on the other side which was quite annoying. Our server was fantastic very friendly speedy gal. However they do need to up their drink game. They have this picture on the wall but was not able to make the drink on said picture. Not complicated at all just a simple drink, nor was the bartender able to make any of the 3 drinks I asked for. Which, again, are not complicated, 3 ingredient drinks. Shouldn't be that hard.

Service was very slow. We had 3 beef sandwiches at our table that couples spilt. Everyone agreed they were way salty. I had pizza and it was okay but cold in the middle. Seating sucked for 8 people. Our bills were mixed up but we took care of it at our table. Also you got very few fries!The employees were very nice.

Gruzy's is a classic northwoods bar, with pizza that rivals any I've had in Mpls/St.Paul area. The crust is homemade, thin and super tasty. Decent beer selection, too with a great view of the lake, and an outdoor patio that is awesome in the warmer months.Update 4/6/19: Spaghetti and meatballs is awesome, too!

Really good wait person. Looks like on Friday nights they could use some more help.Food was very good but overpriced.Atmosphere is an old nothing special Wisconsin bar... could use a refresh.(Liked the old name; Buck and Wing much better.)We always like what we order and recommend the place to everyone...1 exception; they charge a fee for using a credit card!!I know other local restaurants do it now, but seriously, do you need that tiny extra profit that much that you have to implement a gottcha technique that other types of businesses do not use?

Scuzzy's was just okay, nothing spectacular. Kind of a run-down place and really not much to choose from around there unfortunately. Not real conducive for lunch or dinner when you got annoying off-leash dogs running all over the place inside and outside - a real redneck, hillbilly, backwater Trump-flag waving degenerate kind of joint!

Took the family there for dinner. Our experience was mixed. The waitress was certainly friendly. We were told immediately that their tap beer system was down. My son ordered a cherry coke and was told they didn't have that (but didn't offer to just put grenadine). It took a REALLY long time for us to get our food. We were the only table in there. There seemed to be a couple to-go orders that went before us, maybe that's what held ours up? But it was quite a long time for a couple sandwiches and a pizza. Then, unfortunately they made my son's pizza wrong. Now, granted, it was loud in there...it is a bar with music playing and people talking loud, which is fine. But then the waitress should have made sure she properly heard the order. We had waited so long that he didn't want to wait and have them make a new one. My french fries were a bit soggy. My wife liked her steak and cheese sandwich and the italian beef on my sandwich had good flavor.I'm sure we will rush to go back there. Perhaps in the summer when we can sit outside and enjoy view of the lake and be a bit more relaxed?

Really wish I could rate this higher. Drove 35 minutes to take my husband and toddler here, and was pretty disappointed, though my toddler loved everything. Ordered the cheese ravioli, deep-dish pizza and the Italian beef sandwich. The ravioli was so thick and chewy, and the sauce was very bland. The 2 meatballs that came with it were pate balls. Mush in ball form 😔 The pizza was just kinda off, and didn't taste very authentic, crust was also burnt. The sandwich hardly had any meat on it. The pic of it on their wall showed it stuffed with meat. We ended up leaving over half the pizza there......I wanted to love everything, and we were told every single thing was homemade, even the sauce. Eeeeeeeeh, I don't know about that.But the wait staff was really great! Wish I knew the servers name. Would recommend the restaurant putting up a seat yourself sign. Was kinda awkward. Just my experience though, never know unless you try.

Open on Mondays, right on the lake, great views and friendly people!! Oh, the food??? No words to describe how good it is. The Italian beef was melt in your mouth tender. Ice cream machine with sipping cream. Pizza with crispy crust. Homemade sauce and homemade dough. Heavenly!!

Great experience! We sat on the deck overlooking beautiful Nancy Lake and enjoyed the Friday fish fry. Service was quick, friendly, and server Amanda went out of her way to make sure we got what we needed. We’ll be back and will bring our friends!
