Really fun place! Very easy place to walk. Lots of different animals and things to do. Loved feeding the giraffes. The Siberian tigers and leopards and lynx and pumas and bobcats were really great to see. Lots of different birds and reptiles. And you get to feed baby goats. It's got everything. Ran out of time so didn't get to take the safari tram tour so that will be next time!

Excellent zoo to take family too! They offer bird, giraffe, trout, koi and deer feeding. Listening to the monkeys was our favorite.Wagon rentals are available. Food and beverage are allowed as carry-ins (picnic area available). The whole park may not be accessible by wheelchair due to terrain. If you want to return a second day, it is half price.

Great time with the family! The kids get hooked right when you walk in. There are free range, friendly goats and a rabbit petting area. There are multiple routes to take so avoiding large groups and still getting to see everything is easy enough. The only 2 things that would keep me from giving this 5 stars are as follows. It would have been more enjoyable pushing our stroller around if at least the main paths had been paved. The gravel was compacted well enough that it wasn't terrible. Second, it's cash only for the tram ride thru the safari. I had cash on this particular day but if I hadn't we would have had to walk back to the ATM to get some. For the strictly non cash carrying folks out there this may pose a slight issue. The tram ride was fun and very educational so I'd highly recommend it. Overall great experience!Price for entry: $25Ticket type: Adult

Kids love it. It's expensive, 88 bucks for the 4 of us, but the variety of animals is very impressive. Peacocks roam freely, as do deer. You can be swarmed in the parakeet house, hold baby bunnies when you first walk in or feed the tortoises and/or goats. There are snow leopards, jaguars, tigers, marmosets, tamarins, lemurs, a mini-safari with an ostrich stampede, and a spot in another section where kids can feed carrots to the resident giraffes (subject to giraffe appetite). Overall a fun place but bring cash because after you pay your ticket fee, inside is cash only.

This is quite the unusual zoo & I mean that in a good way! This zoo is a little more interactive than a traditional zoo. When you first walk in you are greeted by goats, baby goats, turtles, & bunnies. You can feed them, pet them, & play with them. You also walk through the deer exhibit where my daughter's got to pet a newborn fawn & feed the deer inside. The entire family also got to feed the giraffes! You could also feed parakeets & they have a tram that takes you through the African exhibit where the animals will walk right up to the tram & greet you. Unlike many zoos all the animals were up & active in the middle of the day & didn't seem upset with having people around. My kids loved the experience & I also had a lot of fun.

Decent sized zoo. It's a good couple hour time killer for sure. goats and deer in the open for people to get pretty close to is a nice touch. The downside is this place is extremely expensive. It's $25 for adults and $16 for kids. I understand they are a private zoo and need to raise money anyway they can. We paid $5 for a bag of food for the animals which was really about .50$ worth and should probably been priced closer to $2. The walk in bird area is nice but you pay $3 for a small popsicle stick of food. I get it's private just very expensive for a family to go for a few hours.

I loved being able to interact with some of the animals. They are well taken care of and it is very clean! However a bucket of carrots for the giraffes is not a bucket. It is a very small drinking cup with a few shaved slivers of carrots. Just be honest don't call it a bucket!Only cash within the park. Which kind of sucks when you realize how quick things add up at concessions and such.Concession prices aren't the worst, but soda machine...$3.50 for bottle of pop...Admission is kinda high...$91 for 3 adults 1 child...before anything else. It was a fun day, good occasional place go due to cost.Playground: Plenty big, sand to dig, different themed stuff to play on.Restrooms: Clean, different locations.Picnic area: Located by Concession areas. Clean as well, no complaints.

This was one of the coolest experiences I've ever had at a zoo. Getting to feed and pet so many different animals was amazing! The safari tour was beautiful, and the driver was very knowledgeable and kind. The animals all seem to be very well cared for, and their enclosures looked to be kept incredibly clean. So many different species to see and learn about! Highly recommend!

We hadn't brought the kids to the park since they were five. We weren't sure teenagers would think it was fun, but the park expansion is impressive. The safari is well done and entertaining. Feeding the giraffes was fun and seeing the new baby giraffe was a treat. A great way to spend a morning or afternoon.

This zoo has it all! From your basic goats and ducks to zebras and bongos.Bring cash and quarters if you want to feed the critters; there are feed dispensers throughout the park. Friendly whitetail deer roam free and inside the aviary you can purchase sticks of birdseed to feed the colorful little birds. For $5 you can feed carrots to the giraffes, which our 2.5 year old loved! You do have to pay to get on the safari tram to see the zebras (and several other species), but the $10/person was worth it to us. Overall, a bit pricey but we spent a few hours there and easily could have spent the whole day there.

This place is amazing!! I've been here twice now within three days and had a blast both times. Don't be afraid of the parakeet cage. They will nibble your hand a little and arm, but it doesn't hurt. Get the seed sticks, they will love you! Monkeys were hilarious and fun to watch. There were no bears, but there were plenty other unique animals to substitute.

Great place to take your family for the day. If you want tostop half way through and get a bottle of soda or water it is $3.00 in machine. It is pricey to get in and for drinks but I just reminded myself all the animals they need to feed all year long. Everything they have to see there I felt the price to get in was good. Soda machine prices I felt it was a bit high. I would like to see more donation buckets and machine prices lowered.

Was brought here 20 years ago as a kid so just had to bring my own kid back. I remember there being way more deer and goats to feed who were eager to gobble up what you had. Today we bought two bags of food and pretty much left with 1.5 bags of food...perhaps nobody was hungry after labor day weekend? Also remember giving a bear a bottle of soda but must have been done away with?Lots of animals. And huge... was not disappointed. If I was forced to complain about anything I'd say the intelligent birds (cockatoo) need a buddy for companionship.BY FAR the hit of the whole dang zoo for a 3.5 year old was the bunnies. And they didn't bite either :)Spent a good 4 hours here and probably could have stayed longer if it wasn't closing. Would definitely come back.

This place is amazing!! We absolutely loved our visit. There is a variety of animals throughout the park. You will see some favorites like giraffes, wallaby, monkeys, big cats (cougars, lynx, bob cats, leopards) and a variety of animals you have never seen before!Upon entrance there is a variety of animals to feed with the food staggered around the park for .50 cents. We enjoyed feeding the goats (baby goats), ducks, fish, swans and deer.Feeding the giraffes is a fun experience. It only costs 5.00 for up to 4 people. You can also feed the parakeets for 2.00. This was my daughter’s favorite experience. Parakeets fly free in the enclosed aviary and land freely on guests. If you take the safari park tram you will get to see animals that are near extinction, some aren’t even found in the wild anymore. The zoo is part of a global breeding program to hopefully reintroduce these animals back into their natural habitat. Watch out, some like to board the tram or get up close and personal. It’s all in good fun! This is such a fun interactive experience for kids and adults alike! We spent the day here. It is a big park with lots to do. I saw more animals up close then I ever have at our local Milwaukee zoo. This is a do not miss experience for any animal lover!

Let's update prices from the questions section $24.99 for adults. $16.99 for kids. Also bring cash and lots of it. The feeding stations and all inside vending spots are cash only. Tram is $10 per person. I think this zoo has a lot of fun free interaction with animals as well with the bunnies and goats. It was just an unexpected high price to pay from the start without realizing the need to have cash. The animal exhibits are nice and the tram ride is informative.Playground: A fun dino dig area for kids. Restrooms: Outdated at this time and need a little TLC. Picnic area: Several locations outside the zoo to sit and eat food you brought yourself.

Absolutely fantastic zoo! The animals are well cared for, the habitats are spacious and immaculate. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable, many are interns from different colleges. We love this place! The safari tram is excellent! The Budgie experience is also very cool ! You need to come here!

Aside from losing my car keys (lol!), it was a great zoo. So fun for the kids. The animal feed might not be worth it. If so, just 1 bag. The animals are fed that stuff all day, so when we got there (which was around 9:45am) the goats weren't too interested in eating it. I'd recommend just bringing some quarters for the random feed stands spread around the zoo. It didn't take away from the experience because the kids still loved petting them. Also, the parakeets are a lot of fun. It was a big hit with our family.

I have been to many zoos and this is now one of my favorites. The kids loved feeding the deer and giraffes and petting the bunnies the most but all the animal exhibits were rocking. They had a nice dino play area as well. We will definitely be back!

We love this zoo! I have been going here since I was a kid, now I'm a mom taking my kids! The only thing is the deer seemed to have disappeared? We only saw a few, there used to be so many to pet and feed. The sloths are our favorite. You can feed baby goats, hold baby bunnies, last time there was a baby kangaroo we could pet. It's a very interactive, fun place for kids and adults. You can feed giraffes. You can dig for dino bones in a huge sand pit. So much more to explore!
