This Dog Park is an amazing place. While camping nearby our dog Hank was missing playing fetch since he is leashed unless he is in the camper. We found Lakeland Dog Park easily and it was a short drive from Eagle River.Hank played fetch for 30 min non stop in the small dog area. They have double gates to keep the pups safe while entering and exiting, water bowls during the summer and several park benches for the humans to enjoy. There is also a Tractor Supply Company across the road that has a self serve dog wash station for 10 dollars a dog, complete with several soap selections and dryers. Highly recommended 👌 both the Dog park and TSC!Dog-friendliness: There is a section for both small dogs and large dogs to run off leash!Self serve poop bags.

This place rocks. The best dog to ever visit and run around is a dog named Esther. She's half Pitbull and half something else. You can see her in the photos and videos.

The park was very nice and so were the people that were there with their dogs. It was very clean I was just a little disappointed that the big yard wasn't open.Dog-friendliness: It's a dog park. It's dog friendly.

This dog park is amazing. People actually watched their dogs while socializing. There is a small dog (under 30 lbs) area and a large dog area (over 30 lbs). I was a little concerned not being from the area and having heard dog park horror stories. But this place is well cared for. Plenty of garbage receptacles although for some reason they are on the outside if the fence. 🤷♀️ But most people just drop their bag over the fence on top and then deal with it as they leave. We were there on a Friday evening with our aussie. Plenty of dogs to interact with if she chose to and they were all friendly. She mostly chose to chase the ball and check in on everyone as a good herding dog does. ;) Would definitely go back if the occasion arises. Have fun with your pup!!

Nice little park with large and small areas. Downside is there seems to be an issue with people not picking up after their pets, although that is on the pet owners. There are supplies offered there for them to do so. Our dog is the small spotted one in the photo. She enjoyed her 2 new friends.

So well maintained. My girls just loved it. My little Klee Kai was none too happy that she wasn't allowed to play with the bigger dogs.

This park is a little gem! There is enough space for pups to run and play but it’s not so big you’ll lose track of your dog. Water and waste bags are readily available. The space is clean and well maintained. If you’re up north and need a place to let your dog run off some energy, check it out!

My Newfies and I visited the park on Monday, November 9, 2020 at approximately 9 am. There were several people and their dogs down towards the south end of the large dog enclosure and we entered through the gates and were staying up on the north end. My dogs were both on their leashes and minding their own business and checking the area out. An Irish Setter came up and was aggressive towards my female and attacked her. I still was hanging on to the leash and the people were all yelling at me to drop the leash. I believe that I hollered for someone to come and get their dog but nobody moved too fast to offer assistance. The attack was over quickly and my dog wasn't injured. A lady wandered over and said that the Irish Setter didn't like black dogs. I thought that someone could have said something before we entered the enclosure because they all saw me unload my dogs and they are definitely black and big. (It seemed that this is a group that must get together with their dogs on a regular basis.) If I had known this, I would have used the small dog area as there were no dogs in it. Not a good experience for us!

We took a husky and a border collie just after sunset (4:10pm) and they loved the quiet and the snow! The park was much bigger than I originally realized! Great spot, even in lower light.

Stopped here while on vacation. Great little dog park with separate areas for big and small dogs. Big dog side has agility equipment, water, poop bags and toys. Awesome, well maintained spot to let the dogs burn energy.

On September 26 my son and I visited this dog park and it was very nice. We took our dogs as a break from having them on tie outs at the cabinThis review is mainly to make people aware of what can happen when dogs run freely. I was walking across the park over to my dog when I was knocked down by two very large dogs. They came from behind and I only saw them when it was too late. The next thing I knew I was on the ground in extreme painMy son had to carry me to our car as I could not put any weight on my right leg. He collected our dogs and drove 3 hours homeWhile I know we entered at our own risk, it is interesting to note that not one person at the park (and there were several there) came over to see if I was ok or if they could help in any way. My son said as soon as I was knocked over every person called their dog and went to the opposite end of the park and I noticed they stayed there until we drove out. I ended up with a tibula plateau fracture, needed surgery and most likely won’t walk until ChristmasAgain, dog park was very nice and well kept. Can’t say as much for the people there

Wonderful place for both dog & owner to socialize. Safe, clean environment for dogs to run & romp. I tell my dogs, "We're going to the dog park", they get so excited & run to the car. They absolutely love it.❤Water & doggie doo bags are provided.

Thank you to the people who made this possible. This is a well equipped dog park which includes water for the dogs. Bring your own bowl. The grass is fresh and even has a sprinkler system to keep it thriving, though there has been plenty of rain. Hopefully they have planned on adding decomposed granite to the entrance areas because they will quickly wear bare and become muddy. Many parks use shredded bark but some dogs will dig in it and carry some away. They also provide clean-up stations. It is walking distance from the Walmart and a very nice breakfast/lunch restaurant named Mollie's, who is a dog, and a craft store.

Nicely designed with a separation for smaller dogs. Our medium size dog played in the large dog area. Good space with some grassy areas as well as a few trees

There are two parts. One part for dogs under 30 pounds and the other for dogs 30 pounds and over. While we were there several dogs were in each side and all were well behaved with people who were responsible and friendly dog owners. It was a very enjoyable experience in a well maintained dog park.

We had a very sad 2017 Spring because we had to close the Dog Park temporarily during the Spring thaw due do mass destruction to the grassy areas, mainly in the big dog side. BUT, GOOD NEWS! The Dog Park is reopening at 7 a.m. on Monday, May 8, 2017. There will be a cleanup day on Saturday, April 29, 2017, for anyone wishing to help out. Just show up around 1 p.m. with your gloves and rakes and a smile on your face. We always have fun working together in the Dog Park and appreciate the help of all of the volunteers! If you're traveling any distance to the Dog Park, it's always a good idea to check the website first, because we keep it up-to-date on hours of availability.

The park is great. I just wish more people would follow the rules and not let their little dogs go in the big dog section.
