This place is cute! The food was great as well as the coffee! We both got breakfast burritos, I had an iced vanilla latte with oat milk and my husband had their summer special pineapple matcha. The girls at the counter were super sweet and friendly. I have been visiting minoqua camping since I was young. We will be back next summer and will most likely stop here again!

Wonderful Cafe with fair prices, great quality food and beverages. The staff were so swift in taking care of orders even when it was busy. Everything was very tidy. We will return to try more goodies.

Fun and tasty place for a lighter and healthier breakfast. Fresh baked pastries and coffee are their specialties, with a nice complementary choice of other brunch items including quiche and sandwiches. Conveniently located in the heart of downtown Minocqua, with a nice outdoor patio area to enjoy the Wisconsin air.

Love this shop! I'm a local and there are quite a few coffee shops in the area, but Sonder has it all. Friendly service, quality beans, fresh in house bakery and always clean inside. I look forward to and relish every visit.Kid-friendliness: Family friendly

They use Collectivo beans and pull an excellent shot, probably better than any of the espresso I’ve had at actual Collectivo coffee shops. All bakery is handmade each day, and I found the lemon poppyseed muffin to be heavenly. Decent vibes, a blend of farmhouse and plant mama. Sweet outdoor patio too!

First time visiting Cafe Sonder. Newer coffee shop in town. Positive and friendly staff. Short wait time. Tried the cortado and maple spice almond latte. Both delicious! Highly recommend. Looking forward to coming back.

I got the oatmeal which had a delightful amount of toppings and fresh fruit. The rest of my group seemed satisfied. The greens that came with their meals were fresh. We thought that the quiche seemed more like a frittata since it didn't have a crust.Also got a latte, which was very good.

So nice, we had to go twice! ... In less than 24 hours 😆We've been coming to Minocqua for vacation for decades and we were so excited to see this new Cafe downtown. The food is absolutely delicious. The avocado toast is the best I've ever had--compliments to the chef. The coffee selection is vast and the oat milk lattes are delicious. I applaud the owners for recognizing a need in the local marketplace and filling it. The staff is incredibly friendly and the service was remarkably fast given the high volume of customers.We hope to add this cafe to annual roster of "must visits".

Stopped in for a quick breakfast on our way out of town, and it was totally worth it! The food was amazing and the holiday drinks they offered were so cute and tasty. The atmosphere was so festive, the people were so sweet, and overall I would definitely come back. I left town and unfortunately forgot my purse, but the kind staff was more than willing to help get it back to me for the holidays. Definitely check out this place and support their business, it was well worth my stop and money!

The Cafe Sounder really delivers. The coffee drinks are so smooth. The flavors and menu are incredible! The matcha is so light and refreshing. We love how fresh the scratch bakery is! We have tried all the quiche offerings and each is better than the one before. Definitely worth multiple trips. So, so lovely.

Looking for a good sip of coffee and I found the shops google review responses to be honest and humorous so I decided to go check this place out! Really good experience overall. This is a small cute business in a great location with wonderful service. There was a barista in training so my drink wasn't exactly how I wanted. I didn't even have to ask and the owner offered to remake it and wow am I happy about that! My easy-sweet brown butter toffee iced latte was divine 🤤 Thanks <3

Friendly staff, nice atmosphere. Very busy and not much seating. Food was good but brewed coffee (dark roast) was weak and my cup was only 3/4's filled even though I told them I didn't want to add cream or sugar. Also, a bit pricey and demanded a minimum 15% tip for not actually serving me.

Loved this cute cafe on the main drag downtown. Called in a multiple order pick up for a given time and it all went so smooth. Its was ready to go and delicious for the office staff. Everyone had great things to say about the food.

Coffee was excellent, service was friendly and fast. I ordered the veggie breakfast burrito. It was ok, but wasn’t as seasoned as I would have liked.Wheelchair accessibility: Has open walk path through restaurant for wheel chair to maneuver and entry has ADA sized door and level floor making for easy entry.

Highly highly recommend this place!! Amazing coffee, food and pastries! The owners are super friendly and go above and beyond. They even came in on a closed day to make my family some pastries for a birthday. Great spot for grab and go or to sit and talk. Great spot to do some work as long as you have some noise cancelling head phones or work super early. Over 10 days we were at the cafe 15 times.

Most of the time it’s good, just annoying when I’ve gone in repeatedly, ordered a drink and a pastry and did not receive the pastry. The fact that this has happened multiple times is irritable, to say the least. Especially when they are slow. Overall ok experience, just wish they’d remember to give you your pastry because just $9 for your coffee and forgetfulness is not the best practice for a business.

I loved their iced teas, we got a few different flavors and they were all delicious. I also loved that they use agave straws which are biodegradable but don’t fall apart in your drink or get soggy like paper straws. It was so nice to get a refreshing drink that was eco friendly!

I've been visiting Cafe Sonder for a little over a year. Never once have I have a bad experience. I love the comradery present between the staff and customers. The laid back and cozy atmosphere here are unmatched from any place I've visited prior.Their menu is varied but nothing seems out of place, I've had just about everything atleast once and none of it seemed hashed in or like it was a rushed idea they slapped on for fluff.They have a handful of different options in terms of bakery items which are always worth trying.They have a large menu when it comes to the variety of coffee or coffee related beverages you can order or modify. Along side this they have a cooler with sodas and other drinks for those who do not drink coffee.The grownup grilled cheese paired with their maple ginger cold brew and a raspberry croissant is my personal favorite combo to order, and I swear is a gift from God.They sell quite a few coffee roasts all of which are unique in their own way and come in beautifully designed bags. I own several and love the flavor of each.Overall I heavily recommend Cafe Sonder to anyone in the area or passing through. Amazing people, amazing atmosphere, and amazing food.

Cool and funky little place. Our service was very good. A much needed coffee and quick light food venue. Thanks for saving this downtown location after the revolving door of failures there! We both had the chicken salad sandwich and it was not good. A goopy mix of maybe miracle whip and some chicken, on dry wheat bread. Bad memories of junior high cafeteria. Check out chicken salad at the Wild Berry, local grocery deli’s, or Pinterest for ideas. Will be back.

What a wonderful experience we had today at this delightful cafe, Cafe Sonder. The food was delicious and tastefully presented, the staff is family and greet guests with smiles and kindness! Great food, great coffee, and pleasant staff what more could you ask for, and this lovely cafe delivers it all and then some!
