By far the worst Walgreens I have ever been at. The employees are rude and disinterested in assisting customers. They have many of their products locked up to prevent theft, but it takes forever to get an employee to unlock the products. I had two different people tell me they would meet me there to unlock it and the first one never showed up after 6 minutes and so I asked the second one and then they never showed up after 3 minutes and I finally just left. They also have a check out at both the Wisconsin avenue entrance and the mall entrance. Very rarely can you find someone to check you out at the mall entrance and you have to go to the Wisconsin Avenue entrance, check out and then walk back through the store to get to the mall. If they do help you at the mall entrance they act as if they did you the biggest favor by allowing you to be able to purchase something from their store at their checkout. How these employees keep their jobs is beyond me. I work in this building and while the location is very convenient, I try to avoid going there if I can at all prevent it.

I live above this Walgreens and everyone who works there is always pleasant. Shocked to see so many poor reviews based on their hours that they don't control. Its a Walgreens downtown of course it isn't open late. Nonetheless I always have a good experience here and am always able to get my essentials.

These people are the worst, they are all very unfriendly. And terrible customer service. They make two calls and they're done. When they send you home, you have to do it yourself... It turns out that I went to this store for a card to recharge money very easy and fast to fold and keep more than 150 dollars because it is not possible to activate the card but it is not within what is customer service explain at least before they are a few profiteers and disrespectful all a thousand times they are and will be .worse.

I went to go grab 1 thing, and as I walked up to the door at 6:57pm on 8/11/22, the doors were opened and the girl that was working there looked up from her phone, saw me, and literally shut the doors really quick. I get it was right before closing time, but it wasn't 7pm yet. Nothing was said to me, except for doors being shut in my face.

Visited this Walgreens to get some OTC tablets. It is well maintained considering the location. Like other typical Walgreens, you will see only check out counter opened and you need to have bit of patience to make the payment. The staff was friendly.

Location is perfect but staff are usually young people that don't take their jobs seriously. They gossip with one another in front of customers, I've gotten food poisoning from frozen foods that were allowed to thaw and then placed back in freezer. If you're White they'll be friendly but if you are a Black customer they treat you like "I ain't gotta waste my time being professional with you."

I stopped at this store to get a few things during a trip to Milwaukee. The staff was very nice and helped me find everything I needed. The store is not your typical corner Walgreen layout, so it was tough to just grab and go. That being said, the staff helped me find what I needed quickly.Be aware, this store gets a lot of foot traffic from the front-end. The soda coolers and grab & go snacks were pretty picked over, despite the great effort of the staff. I will certainly be back when in the area again.

Yes, it's cramped and some of the younger employees hate their jobs (although it seems like less of them do lately) but I feel like people who have given this Walgreens bad reviews don't grasp what it must be like to operate in this neighborhood. This is my neighborhood and this is my Walgreens. It has faults and could use a remodel, but the majority of the staff tries their best. This is a neighborhood full of homeless people who panhandle me every day, and things can get a little seedy later at night. If you live downtown you get that a lot of places don't have late hours. Rumor has it that they may be changing their hours once the renovation of the Avenue is complete. I read one review that suggested this Walgreens was responsible for the mall failing, which is not at all right. Only a select few stores have survived during this renovation process with Walgreens and TJ Maxx being the big ones. This Walgreens is a neighborhood staple and has been forever. If you have time to order things online that are cheaper, then do it, but if you don't drive and live in the neighborhood and need to pick something up right away, you're not going to find better prices around here. And if you think this Walgreens is ghetto and poorly laid out, you've obviously never been to the Brady Street Walgreens.

This Walgreens has unique set of issues it must deal with, plus provide customer service, plus provide rx, plus keep the other outfits (WU, FedEX etc) running on demand. The location of this store is the "family corner store" to so many residences that live within a few blocks. However, this store has to deal with people shoplifting anything they can stuff down their pants and up their shirts. Then you have those who cause trouble and pose a risk to us in the store. I have seen staff go head to head with them. I love this store. I hope it's around for a long time. If it ever shut down because of the thefts and other issues and they decide it's no longer profitable or worth the risk, their will be a huge hole in the neighborhood. Thanks to all of the staff

Not your typical Walgreens layout - feels like ½ the size of the neighborhood stores on every corner in the U.S.A.Was pleasantly surprised the store had everything I needed.The cashier & pharmacist were professional and nice.Happy this location is within walking distance from the hotel i’m staying in.

Prices are ridiculously high over 10 dollars for two 9V batteries (those are the small square ones). The managers need diversity training for sure. The western union station is positioned so other shoppers can see all your info that you are typing on the terminal. I've caught a couple of people looking at my info. I dont like this place at all. Amazon is so much better. I can get a pack of eight 9V batteries for 10 dollars by tmr delivered....why deal with all the red tape walking into a store. I see why the Grand Ave mall failed, very sad.

Laquonta is amazing and deserves a raise! She is extremely organized and dedicated and is saving lives during this pandemic. When the scheduling system was not working for me she kept her eye out for extras and called me when she had one. I got my second shot right on time!

I am met by locked doors at 7:45pm Saturday, bloodied from a fall 8 blocks away. Very disappointed that the store was closed after a long and desperate walk. I comfort myself by dreaming there is a special place in hell for those negligent employees:(

Location is convenient but for a Walgreens that is right down the street from a college that has a large amount of night classes it closes way too early, I think. Employees also show way too much that they hate their jobs.

Not a fan of this Walgreen's. The layout is incredibly cramped, and its difficult to locate goods for purchase. I wish they would gut this location, and strip it down to more of a convenience-store type.
