I am not a fan of this place for many reasons, including the Menards owner taking radioactive waste from his store and illegally putting it in his home garbage...among other crimes. I don't understand why he didn't get time in prison.

If you are in a semi truck don’t come here they will run you off and threaten to call law enforcement on you. Even if you had plans of shopping. They have a HUGE parking lot and not very busy I was out of the way and not blocking anyone or anything. Store manager was extremely rude. Talked down to me like I was trash Terrible business. It’s terrible to treat truckers like a criminal we run the country. If it wasn’t for trucks Menards would not have product to sell. Menards would have never been built either. Us truckers are people too. I have a husband and small dog and faithfully shop at Menards because usually they OTHER better locations let me park. But today at this location my thoughts of the company have extremely changed.

Normally, I have an okay experience here. I bought dog food from this Menards in September, and the food was recently recalled for salmonella. I stopped in at this Menards today (with the original receipt) to see if the food I purchased was part of the recall. I had to explain this at least three times to the person at the desk who was trying to assist me. He finally called a manager, and I explained this situation again. After verifying that the dog food I purchased was part of the recall, he asked if I had any left and if I'd brought it with me. I explained to the manager that I did still have the food left, but it was in a large container because it's a 40-lb bag. He advised I bring it all back to the store so they can throw it in a bag. Every other place I know that sells the brand of food being recalled advised that the dog food just be thrown out and the receipt brought in for a full refund. Further, those other retailers proactively told their customers there was a recall. Menards did absolutely nothing to address this proactively, and it's a further inconvenience that I have to drag several pounds of dog food back to their store just so they can throw it out. I think they could have handled this in a more professional manner.Update: Before dragging all the food back to the store, I called the front-end manager, who confirmed I needed to bring the food in. Since I'd partially purchased the food with a rebate, I asked how that worked and told her I no longer had the original food bag. She told me I'd get a refund for the balance and in-store credit for the rebate portion. Fair enough. I dragged all the remaining dog food back, along with the original receipt. I again had to explain the recall to the same person I explained it to three times prior. Rather than giving me a refund, they gave me in-store credit for the full amount. This recall was not my choice, so I should have at least received the remainder of the balance in cash to do with of my choosing rather than being forced to spend it all in their sh!tty establishment, but the manager acted like he just couldn't be bothered with having to actually think this through. The drama for just trying to return a bag of contaminated, recalled food is enough to make me never want to step foot in the Brown Deer location again. I will drive the half-hour to West Bend if it means the staff there is more competent.

I started out with a good day. Unfortunatelean I shopped at your store notice a product on your shelf. ad clearance sale for 399 Padded table and chairs.t table and chairs. Went to the GM to show him the mishap, and he proceeded to strip the incap. Of all of the sales tags from the bottom to the top. Never offer me the product for the sales price and claim that it was an employee's problem and employee's issue. But the employee was never here to deal with the issue. He covered up the problem before rectifying the problem. Then Tol to me, didn't I help you by taking the place down, I said no, absolutely not you should have gave it to me for the salesprice and then remove the stickers, but whose ever is managing him and showing him how to operate a business. I guess that's his best way. No, thank you for your services. Be shopping somewhere else a Lowe's or home depot menards, you get 2 thumbs down.

The staff and customer service at the Brown Deer Rd. location is professional, helpful & friendly! They have come a long way from a couple years ago after changing managmeent that ensures reliable dependable employees stay and the rest need to find a different job! You can still find anything at Menards!

After spending at least $50,000 at this store, I was accused of concealing stealing a 4 dollar drill bit. I will be buying my trusses from the Germantown location. The short girl with dreadlocks tried to get me trespassed from the store. Great job.

Menards has lost some of its glam for me. Menards used to be my very favorite store. Menards had everything.But Northridge Mall is being demolished now, and all that's left is Menards. I'm not sure what the plan is for this store's future at this location.

It's the Northridge Menards. The infrastructure surrounding it is breaking down and in chaos. But Menards is the anchor to the area. Lock your truck doors, stuff will get broken into. The staff can be helpful if you find the right person. They never have enough checkout lanes open, staffing issues. The delivery service is riddled with issues.

Great selection of products and always seems to be well stocked! I very much like this location. You even get a little glimpse at the crumbling Northridge and whatever else has been dumped in the vacant parking lot next door! I have seen cars without tires and even a larger boat no longer on a trailer just laying on its side! I would just suggest going during the day because it is a bit set back and therefore secluded from the road...but seriously this is a nice Menards. It is very clean and once you are inside it is another world! Great selection of train accessories and furniture!

Went in the store to get some drywall to renovate my upstairs found some drywall with a tag that said $2.69 each got up to the register and it was the wing SKU tag and they did not honor the tag so they let me walk away instead of honoring the price and I put back everything I was going to purchase which was $600.00 and odd dollars worth of merchandise instead taking off the odd 2 dollars cause the manager say I could've of put it there or another customer instead of saying one of the employees put the tag there so I also got insulted on top of everything if you look at the tag is from December so where would myself or another customer get a Menards SKU tag from December in mid February.....I can tell you this I'll never so at this Menards ever again he also refused to give his name and kept his name tag covered but his discription is youth black guy with glasses hair shaved on the side with short dreadlocks on the top

Great store with very helpful staff able and willing to assist and answer questions. The store is very clean and well stocked. Prices are also very competitive, I get many of the daily essentials here. Dropping a star, lines are getting longer, and waits for yard orders for someone to even staff the desk can be 10-15min and you will need to call multiple times. Updating my review, we're pretty much beyond Covid and the waits at the yard desk are still long, rarely anyone at the desk. I'm updating again... The long yard order waits continue, no one staffs the back area anymore. I'm here often and this time it's 20 minutes to get help.

Staff and management are horrible. Prices everywhere I was looking to get a cherry tree That was on the rack of for sale items with multiple other assorted fruit trees and shrubs. I even walked back to take the picture with my phone only for the staff to do the same afterward then they turned around and got another manager and she just was careless so I just left my entire $700 cart and went to Home Depot but instead I bought my tree from steins in Germantown. No more menards for me

Today I was accused of stealing a $2 saw blade, I had decided not to get and put back. This is while I was in line purchasing $200 worth of other goods.I hadn't even finished placing my items on the belt to be rang up. I didn't have time to purchase the blade if I did want it ..I'm a contractor and buy $1000s of dollars worth of materials each month.. which I will purchase from Home Depot for here out..Menards in Milwaukee on Brown should be permanently closed, torn down with the rest of Northridge..0 ⭐

We’ve been going here for years. Competitive prices, big selection, fairly organized and stocked. If you know what you need you’ll likely find it. The returns desk, paint department, and the contractors desk (sometimes) seem to be your best bets for assistance. The cashiers are pretty nice, although some don’t say a single word to you at any point of the interaction.Getting help in most other areas is hit or miss. Recently (Oct 2020) when in the store for over a half hour on a day with few customers, we passed many employees. Not one acknowledged us. In the tile section there were two younger male employees leaning on a desk and looking at their phones. We walked right past them 3 different times over a 15 minute period (we were trying to find something in that section), neither ever looked up. Obviously we could’ve interrupted them, but when you’re being ignored like that, I’ve found there’s a good chance there’s a reason: They don’t care, they don’t know where things are/how to help, or don’t want to be bothered.I had many jobs like this growing up. I found trying to help people, even when you’re not 100% sure of how to help, will make you eventually know more. You can pick up a lot of life skills in a home improvement store that’ll help you for, well, your whole life. And it’ll make your workday go faster.

I walked by four areas of the store and employees were not friendly nor did they asked if I needed any assistance. Additionally, this is the only hardware store that does not offer any military discount. The do offer rebates that they know 70% of their customers are not stopping a customer service to pick up or send in.

Great, love the selections in the paint department. Store has Broader selection for home items than other home improvement stores, that's what's nice. Plants at Northridge location didn't look good this year, maybe they can offer them at clearance price or return them to distributor for healthier looking plants. Come to think of it, last year I bought 6 yellow mums from their west allis location and they started turning brown within 1 week .. maybe they need to change plant distributors...but the store itself is good.

Clean parking lot, was greeted as i walked through the entrance. Plenty variety of products shelves nicely stocked. Only problem is the floor associates can be way more helpful rather than just standing around looking at their phones, but all in all its a good store.

Menards is great. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable and helpful. Prices are reasonable, and if you do a lot of work on your house it's worth doing the rebate they usually have running. It's easy to get someone to ask questions to!The place they don't shine as much is tech. They quite often have to check on stock because their system isn't great at that, and you need a receipt for returns. If you don't have it looking it up is a pain.

Hadn't been here in awhile because of the pandemic and also my mobility issues. There were some things I needed I couldn't find online so decided to give it a try again. Was very happy to see they had the battery operated scooters so it was easy for me to get around the store and get what I needed.

It was awesome. I got to see a lot of thing I'm going to put in my house and when I had a question the staff was super helpful and friendly. I got to try the massage chair that I will be buying next week and the toy cars was my treat. I bought what I came to get blades and I can spend all day in there. Love

Terrible Delivery Service will never buy an appliance from them again.Refused to take old dryer out unless I paid $20 more dollars although it says "appliance haul away will be on a one for one basis" in the contract.You have to pay for a new cord $13.99 (they will not hook up with your old cord) plus $89.00 delivery to your driveway PLUS $20 to take it downstairs which I paid. They never mentioned an extra fee for haul away of old appliance.

Shopping at the store itself is fine but DO NOT RENT ANY TOOLs with moving parts from here. I called ahead to see if a masonry wet saw I wanted was available and was told it was, came in to rent it. Asked for the manual and it took the person who was helping me 40 minutes to get a manual for me. Then I loaded it up and went home. After consulting the manual I realized I was missing pieces for the saw, went back to the store and I found the pieces myself in the rental area. Then the next morning I went to set up the saw to do the work. The saw’s water pump was not working and the blade and possibly other parts were not functioning well. Took it back and received a full refund but the guy who helped me knew the saw was not working and said it should not have been rented to me in the first place. I wasted at least 3 hours and three trips to and from menards and didn’t even get to use the tool. So frustrating!

My recent visit was just Abit frustrating. Men's room smelled of marijuana and could not find flat bed cart because employees had them. Maybe this could be remedied.
