I have lived in this city over a decade and have never went to a Menards.Why?I figured I've been to Lowes and Home Depot before, why do I need to go to another home improvement store.I was wrong to compare them ladies and gents, I admit my mistake.I went into this store for the first time this week and did not want to leave.They have EVERYTHING and then some.The best part is it was clean, organized, no employees on their phones (that was the best! personal phones should not be on any business floor while people are on the clock), and the prices were great.I'll be heading back that way soon, probably this weekend.

My husband’s place to shop got all of our home and garden stuff.Prices are always compatible here.I love the rebate which I can use later for my home decor.Staff here is always very friendly and helpful.Store is always stocked and isles are clean and organized.I recommend this store.

Dan was amazing helping me out today. I was nervous to go in and get wood cut for the first time but he asked me what I was trying to make and he helped recommend things for me. It was clear that he cared and wanted my project to turn out looking nice. He told me to take a seat while he gathered the wood and got it cut then he also helped me pick out and put bricks in my cart. Amazing customer service and this will be my go to store for projects in the future.

Worst place to shop overall. Worst place to do an online order and pick up. Certain items you have to pay extra for them to pick it. Then you sit and wait and wait and wait. I attempted to call the online pick up department and of course it rang 1 million times and no one picked up. When you go to pick up your stuff you have to go in the back and have your receipt. They don’t have curbside pick up which stinks. So when you drive around the back, you still have to go inside find someone and have them get your stuff which they usually can’t find or don’t have ready. Plus the attitude of most employees there, just awful. The only reason I came here is because no other store in the area I had what I needed and I need to get this project done. Never again. Also, their rebate process is a scam. You don’t get money back, you just get a little piece of paper with a credit on it to use at their store. I don’t even bother with it because it takes so long to mail everything in and wait to get this postcard they mail you. Not worth the time or effort.

Disappointed they didn't accept food share. Would have spent much more there. Went next door to Pick n Save, then to Walmart and found better price (48.2% savings for exact same item I would have brought there had I been able to use my Food Share on some healthy snacks high in fiber and protein (which my diet calls for).Shame on you.

Menards is a man's dream. They have everything and it's difficult not to over spend.Leaving can be a task as well. As you can tell and speak for many men, Menards is awesome.Please LIKE my review

Their online order pickup process leaves a lot to be desired. First of all, there's limited signage telling you that you have to drive behind the store to pick up your items. Then, when you arrive, nobody is at the gate to give you what you paid for. Employees will walk right past you and not say a thing. After you flag somebody down, they call the person over and you have to wait another 10 minutes. I ended up having to call to the front desk because nobody arrived. Then after I got the items, the boxes were damaged. Finally, when leaving, the security at the gate to leave had no idea what to do with the online order. He was very rude and did not say much of anything. He just walked to the back of the car and waited--did not ask anything. If the times they listed, here, are their ideal, simply plan ahead that your online order pickup will take twice as long as your simply going in the store and buying it independently. In comparison to the online pick-up process at Home Depot, there's a lot that could be improved here from a customer experience perspective. At minimum, treat people (customers) like human beings that deserve basic respect.

I purchased a basic lawnmower here 9 am on a Sunday. The machine worked for 30 minutes. Wouldn’t start and throttle cable wasn’t working correctly. Well that’s how it goes sometimes. So I packed up the materials and packaging and went back to Menards. Easy right?Well no, they called over the department head who explained they don’t exchange lawn mowers once gas is poured in. What? 30 minutes old. Certainly the mower was built to last for more than 30 minutes. The department manager suggested that I put an old gas and that’s why it wasn’t working. I then showed them on the receipt that we bought the gas for the Mower at Menards that morning. He said they use a repair shop and I would need to bring it there. I live 100 miles away, the shop is open Monday thru Friday and it’s Sunday. What? 30 minutes of use? I am a 60 year old and know how to use equipment, certainly a lawn mower. If it stopped working after 30 minutes it’s clearly defective. That is not the return policy at Lowes or at Home Depot.I know, I checked. I thought that maybe the department head and I got off to a bad start, so an hour later I called the Store Manager at West Milwaukee. Clearly we could reason it out, right? Well no that is the policy at Menards. I left the Mower in the lobby of the store with the hope that I can get a refund thru the Credit Card. Although upset and feeling cheated, I thought I talked to both Manny and Daryl with respect. But let’s be clear, this is a horrible return policy and the Company has zero customer service. If the store Manager or Department head can’t square the situation what is their purpose. Since I’m 100 miles away and can’t take the lawnmower home, I just asked if someone in their facility could take it to the repair shop. And that’s just another no. This Menards didn’t stand behind their product for 30 minutes. Horrible, and complete lack of customer service. I strongly advise anybody thinking to buy here to shop elsewhere. They don’t stand behind their products.All they had to do was exchange an hour old Lawn Mower. Now I am out nearly $300.

Extreme inventory issues in every department. Every visit they're out of what I need. I'm told it's industry wide but I have no troubles finding what I need at Home Depot. Full sheet sandpaper, breaker switches, junction boxes, kitchen hardware, baseboards, shelving. Just some of the things I've been told are out of stock with no estimated restocking date.

They got you!!!See my new shelving that I purchased at Menards for only $58.00 and some change. My other cabinet was pitiful. Woohoo😝😊.

I am writing to share my recent experience and express my concerns regarding the lack of efficient service and clear communication that I encountered. This was my go to store the last 3 years, not sure, now. However, I believe it is important to address these issues so that improvements can be made to enhance customer satisfaction.The extended waiting times that I experienced during my visitSSS to pick up items I already purchased!!! Ridiculous!! Waiting for extended periods without clear updates or communication can be frustrating for customers. I noticed that other customers complained about this, years, months, weeks ago, yet it hasn't improved. . . It would be greatly appreciated if steps could be taken to reduce wait times and/or provide customers with regular updates regarding the progress of their requests. The individual who opened the gate, I would say was the extinct of kindness and help. Otherwise, I just stood waiting... looked like a fish out of water with staff walking pass me, just staring.Additionally, I encountered a lack of detail or direction when trying to pick up items that I had already purchased THAT WAsNT IN INVENTORY-- Clear instructions and signage regarding the pickup process would have been greatly helpful. It is important to ensure that customers are provided with clear directions and information, enabling them to easily locate and retrieve their purchased items. NOT THE CASE HEREI would also like to address a specific incident where I was advised by a member of your staff to go to another store chain to obtain the required wood. However, upon arriving at the recommended store, I was informed that they were unable to assist me. This miscommunication resulted in wasted time, effort, energy, and money. THE LACK OF CARE FOR CUSTOMERS TIME, ENERGY, MONEY.As a customer, I understand that unexpected issues can arise. However, I believe that resourceful and effective communication is crucial in resolving such issues promptly and ensuring a positive customer experience. I encourage you to review and improve your communication processes to minimize inconveniences and provide customers with accurate information.I sincerely hope that my feedback can contribute to the ongoing improvement of your services.PROBABLY WONT.

a well stock me nards with friendly staff willing to help you look for many things and answer may questions. As a visually impaired individual i appreciate the help the give me each time i go their. I mean sometimes i wish they all had bells on so i could find them better but overall great place to shop. better prices then home depot.

I visited the store on Miller Parkway. All associates were extremely helpful throughout the store shopping experience. I shopped in many different departments including paint, lighting, blinds, doors, handheld tools, hardware, Christmas items, toys, men's clothing and TV products. This visit resulted in approximately 2 and 1/2 hours on December 9th, 2022. Cashier Colleen appeared to be on a training session, overshadowed by a front end supervisor. Calling initially seemed hesitant with my large order, but gained confidence as she worked through the many products to the extent that the supervisor assisted in bagging in a nearby shopping cart. Cheerfully greeted by a security door associate on exit. An outdoor employee additionally carefully assisted unloading into my car and he, additionally, returned the motorized cart to the store. Even though the store was quite busy as the extended visit time passed 4 p.m., I WOULD SHOP AT THIS LOCATION OVER ANY OTHER MENARDS OR BIGGER BOX STORE.

If I could give 0 stars it would be great. They cancel a delivery that I placed in 8/26/22 at store on Brown Deer Milwaukee, WI and scheduled for delivery on 8/29/22. The night before they cancelled it saying don't have the merchandise in stock regardless the "ready for shipping " status.

Guy on backyard pickup door security was very rude, have no clue how to talk to the customer. He had very trashed language. He was on duty 6/21/23 we entered the yard at about 9:15 pm and exited about 9:30 pm

Every time I go to this location to get Eukanuba dog food they don't have any. Idk if they are not caring it anymore but if that's the case they need to let their customers know what's going on!! Very frustrating when I've gone for the last 2 months and they don't have anything anymore!!
