Took my dog here to get groomed about 3 weeks to a month ago and when we got him back he was acting very strange. He had cuts and burns on his legs, under his belly and arms and on his balls. We took him to the vet a couple days after to get his normal shots and she advised us to never take him back there again because of the cuts and burn marks he endured. Til this day my dog is acting strange and has extreme anxiety it’s very clear that he’s not the same anymore. I’m not one to stop a persons hustle but please don’t bring your dog here it’s 50/50 if they’ll ever be the same after.

The best in Milwaukee. I have been coming here for over 10 years. I had 2 dogs that have been groomed at this establishment. I have never had a problem with the service of my fur babies. The owner and staff have always treated me respectfully. If any questions they always answer any concerns that I might’ve had. I can only speak for myself and how much I appreciate having a great place to bring my fur babies. Now just one fur baby. 2 years ago I my fur baby Beauty when to doggie haven.

I took my dogs to get a bath. (2)Which suppose to be $65.An additional $10 for conditioner.$75 each dog5.5% tax$160 is what it should’ve been he charged my card $185.Then I asked for the price for a collar he said $6 but charged my card $8.I don’t care if it’s $1, if I’m spending my money with you why scam to get a few extra dollars? It’s sick. We’re Never returning! They didn’t even get a cut at all. $200 that’s crazy!

So sad…My Sister has been taking her dogs there for 10yrs. A few months ago, she brought Lucy (small little poodle type) and was notified that her dog was not able to be picked up because Lucy was gone. Not sure what happened, but hope Lucy is being loved. Lucy has a story with us and we miss you girl! Sad that people would be so dishonest, kinda scary/weird. Both my sister and I are registered nurses and pride ourselves on being honest. Please don’t bring your family member here

Update: The business owner's reply is not accurate. I do not know the family of Lucy personally. Again, how sad this is the response.....This is not a fake account.I'm really saddened by this business's responses to the missing pet Lucy. My family and I saw the pleas of the family about Lucy and went searching the area at night for any sign of her. I have also personally seen fliers posted about this. This dog has not been found and an extremely distressing situation has been compounded by the business owners. This is all so sad. Truly hoping Lucy will be found.

I have gone to lue lues for 13 years and never had a problem!! The owners are nice and care about my dogs give advise when needed. I'm horrible at making appointments and they always always get my dogs in! I mostly have elderly dogs and I love how they handle them

The pricing is inconsistent and ridiculous. The first time they serviced us was $119 for full groom and de matting. This time it was $257 for the same service plus coloring. I’ve never paid so much for coloring. Their communication on pricing is non existent. I would highly NOT recommend.

I wish I could leave a review with negative stars, but I can’t. I was looking for a groomer for my cocker spaniel in the Milwaukee area and learned that Lue-Lue’s recently lost a friend’s family member’s dog—and waited until 2 HOURS after losing the dog to notify its owners. The business has been responding to negative reviews claiming they’re fake, but it’s only a sad attempt at covering up the incident and failing to take accountability over it. When you run a business in the animal care/grooming industry, you are ENTIRELY responsible for the safety of the animals at your facility. That dog should have never been able to escape in the first place if proper measures had been taken to keep animals enclosed during time of service. The other huge mistake this “establishment” made was waiting WELL after the dog ran away to tell its owners. A dog running away is a time-sensitive emergency, so why did you wait for HOURS to do anything about it? If you take your dog here, you run the risk of improper safety measures and potentially having your dog go missing under their care. Save yourself the agony and avoid this place at all costs. This dog has NOT been found and there was no “negligence” on behalf of its owners, just a bad business who doesn’t care about the safety of its clients.

I wish there were negative stars. 1st and foremost, my dog was matted and they are able to see him the same day. In the past, I’d groom him at home if he were matted. I haven’t had the time or energy. Upon picking my fur baby up, I noticed he was crying and the chain seemed pretty tight compared to the others. In fact, all of the dogs were crying. I figured I was over thinking and was just happy to see my baby dolled up again. I had to request they hand him to me, even after I paid. My baby was soooooo thirsty and seemed odd. Later we noticed a few cuts, I excused that thinking he may have been an accident with the matting. Hours and hours go by and he’s still acting strange. I looked closer and he’s Red all over, cuts and possibly burns. I put Aloe Vera all over him as if it were “lotion for dogs”. He’s even walking in circles as he was on the table. I feel like crying knowing I took him there against my better judgment. I’ve stopped in looking at their knockoff merchandise a few times and I never got the vibe that they were dog people, definitely money people. Well for the past 6 months, my mom has taken her dog there and ALWAYS satisfied. I figured my baby would be the same. I’m not sure how they decide which dog to abuse and which one not to. I do plan on looking into some legal options. I paid $100 for my dog to be mistreated when in reality I was only trying to treat him. Common courtesy would’ve been for them to discuss such injuries. I hope and pray my baby recovers from this traumatic experience. I just keep apologizing and telling him how much I love him.

I would give negative stars if I could. This place lost my family’s dog and is showing absolutely no signs of remorse. They keep taking down the “lost dog” posters and blocked my family member on Facebook when she contacted them. If you want your dog to go missing bring it to Lue-Lue’s!!!

What kind of groomer props the door open and let's a dog take off? Rediculous and horribly reckless. I hope they find the dog and he isn't hurt. OMGTo clarify, I read this in Nextdoor when the woman who took her dog to be groomed took off from this groomer who admitted leaving the door open. The dog's owner was pleading for help to find her dog. I did not use this groomer, nor would I after reading about her experience. Now she is denying it happened? How about just apologize for the poor judgment?

I would recommend people to find a new groomer. A poor innocent dog went missing a week ago because of the groomers negligence, by keeping the door cracked. Now more and more alleged incidents have happened with other clients. Lue Lue’s is not putting one bit of effort to help a poor family find their dog that they are reliable for her getting loose.

Not a good place to go. Went there a few times . Price started going up.Then they wanted to tell me my Dog was matted, she wasn't. Still got the up charge, and didn't even cut her nails.I wouldn't recommend going there.I surely won't be returning.

My dog was choked and mishandled to the point there is blood in my pups eyes . This has never happened anywhere else . Over priced for this mistreatment. They never even told me he had bald spot or anything , just sent him on his way like everything was fine.

Been taking my baby pepper here for a couple years now! An i love there service😊 Lue-Lue always takes really good care of my baby! She gets you in on short notice if necessary! There prices arent ridiculous & she has & amazing selection of doggy items😊 Keep up the great work Lue-Lue! Also her CBD items helped majorly with my back pain & anxiety! Go check them out ppl😊😊
