Just drove away. Their doors are closed. But all the lights are on. Employees inside. They're supposed to close at 8. Don't waste your gas driving there.

I really do HATE to write this review, this location is right by my house so I became familiar with the staff. Today however there was a (new) young employee girl, sitting down by the register with her face planted in her phone… every customer that stepped in front of her realize she was VERY bothered by their presence as they were met with huffs and puffs as she handle their items. “How dare us(customers) interrupt her “phone time”When it was my turn I put up my 10 to 12 items but I noticed they were ringing up at the wrong price. I dared to ask the appropriate questions ON why the items were ringing up different Than their printed price. She rudely informed me as she screamed for her manager that all the prices have changed but corporate did not change the price tag…… this is my last visit at least Walmart can tag their items correctly.

Gets 2 stars instead of 1 since whenever they're open they are courteous and quick, BUT more often than not they close early and this time they had all of the lights on with no sign to let people know they closed early.I don't understand how the other location closed down and there's STILL no one to cover the night shift. This store is closed half the time I try to come, even when scheduled to close much later. This is problematic at best. In order to end confusion,schedule for an early closing time so that no one drives to the location just to find they wasted a trip.

This store is near wauwatosa or in tosa the parking lot should be cleared and cleaned up it's just nasty the trash is overflowing near the door the refrigerator smells like roach spray when you open it things on the floor inside the store management needs to keep up on this location or have the workers do more instead of standing around, walking and talking.

I have never shopped in a Family dollar store, but I received a gift card from my health insurance company that can only be used at Family Dollar or Dollar general stores. Because I had a small backpack on, as I entered the store I looked for a sign that says to leave your bag at the front counter. There wasn't one, but the woman standing near the door asked to me leave my bag at the front counter. I questioned the lack of a sign but handed my bag over even though I had misgivings--why should I trust the cashier? After I began to walk around, I saw several men walking around with shoulder bags much bigger than my small backpack. I decided that this irritation wasn't worth it and asked for my bag back and left. I will never return and I'm not sure that I will patronize another family dollar store. I came in the store with good intentions, but I was made to feel like a criminal. I felt singled out because they weren't treating every customer the same. Also, the store seemed dirty and disorganized.

They have a lack of respect they are very rude and unhelpful I asked for some help they walked by and said wait a second and went and started a 5 minute conversation with another employee. I walked up and repeated can you help me they looked at me and told me flat out I'm busy. I stay in this area and I like the selection and it's easier than going to Walgreen's or Walmart so the store is convenient but with the lack of respect and passive aggressive behavior it makes me want to spend the extra money on gas and the inconvenience of going to a big store and dealing with a whole new line behavior. I would recommend some trying for customer service and a lesson on respect.The store that showed the disrespect is on north 55thMilwaukee Wisconsin

The management and Staff need to be replaced. They close the whole store, when they want to. And things are never restocked always in the boxes in the way.

I purchased some tuna pouches that was neatly attached to a hanging strip at the end of the isles. Labled $1.00 each. After I'd finished shipping and made it home I noticed that I was charged $1.25 each. When I mentioned this to the manager today she told me that a customer must have placed the tuna pouches neatly onto the strip. Really a customer will stock items on the strip? Really...? I was only requesting the over charged amount, not some story...

Three stars because the store is good enough where I can find things I’m looking for. But the employees tend to be very unprofessional, and the store is always very cluttered and unorganized to the point where you can’t even use a cart because it won’t fit in the aisles. If they cleaned up, and hired some new people, it would probably be a little better.

The Family Dollar store on North Avenue and 55th closes at 9 PM. I got there at 8:55 to buy candy for our neighborhood Easter egg hunt, but they had already locked the door. I knocked and the security guard and Rent-A-Cop up looked at me and then turn their backs to ignore me. I knocked again and asked if I could please come in to quickly buy some candy, since the store wasn’t supposed to close for another 5 minutes. They both continued to keep their back to me and ignore me. I was going to spend a good amount of money on our entire neighborhood Easter egg hunt but I took my money elsewhere. Thanks for nothing, Family Dollar.

Stopped by the Family Dollar store on ther way home for a few items for an impromptu birthday bbq.The store was busy, but service was expedient, courteous & efficient.Also unexpectedly found Clorox spray, & few other covid-19 useful items.Customers were 50:50 wearing masks, the clerks were wearing masks & gloves.

Two stars because at least the SECOND store I went to was OPEN!!! First Family Dollar closed their doors at 1130/noon to go the bank for money for the store 🤔🤔🤔, Really? No Really??? The WHOLE store with MULTIPLE EMPLOYEES and open for 3 hours already!!! Drove all the way back across town to my own hood to another one and the back area and many isles were so full of stock boxes that myself and other customers were just at a lost to get to some of the items we came for. COME ON FAMILY DOLLAR!!! OWNERS WTH ARE Y'ALL??? Wait I know ENJOYING the PROFITS and REVENUE, definitely NOT RESEARCHING GREATER CUSTOMER SERVICES AND CONSUMER SATISFACTION!!! Smh

Isles are jammed. There is always stock blocking aisles. Staff is someone good at giving information if one is looking for something, but they are not very polite in general. Some are great and some are not.

The store was closed down for a while due to cleanliness. When it reopened I didn’t see any improvements . There is a smell in this store like something is dead in the walls . I walked out due to the smell thinking a week later the odor would be clear but no still smells like a slaughterhouse. I won’t return I can’t eat nothing out of there!

They always have one cashier! Even though there is a manager on duty but clearly they think they are too good to job on another register to help out! They never have products I need. They ran out their own bags and was using garbage bags to use! I walk one day and the manager was on the phone while on duty. Security guard always flirty with the cashiers instead of doing their job! They always having personal convos in front of customers! The employees have no knowledge of the products that the store sell. I called one day to see if they had penne noddles and the cashier asked what that was so I informed her. She said hold and she will check, came back to say they don't sell them. I went with my second mind and decided to goto the store to see myself. Yes they sell penne noodles! Just rude, ghetto, unprofessional employees.

DO NOT TRUST THE EMPLOYEES OF THIS STORE. THEY OVERCHARGE YOU ALL THE TIME. Watch the prices on what you buy and the totals of what they charge you, I have been charged almost double for items in the past. They try to keep receipts if they overcharge you and tell you that they keep all receipts

No stock on shelve, and 10 people in line with one cashier. Usually in white neighborhoods they have more than 1 registered is open and the shelves are stocks.

They where not open. They didn’t have a sign indicating that they where closed and all the lights where on. It was around 4pm so I’m not sure what the issue was.

Terrible!! Just Terrible...waited in line 25 minutes..the guy cashier was texting on his phone his girlfriend was there and they were just talking..every aisle had boxes in it...never again will I stop here
