I took my cat in for a walk in brushing/nail trim and he ended up peeing on himself. The owner was super nice and kept him to give him a bath in between appointments. She was very straightforward and gave great advice to keep him from getting his fur matted again. You can tell they really care about the animals they groom. My cat left clean, brushed out and happy.

Found the perfect place to take my dogs!The owner is very knowledgeable and takes pride in what she does. I'm so happy she took the time to take care of my Jack Russell. I will be coming back for my Corgi to get a spa day! Thank you!

And just by her response....need I say more..... thats what you will deal with if you take your pet there despite being a return customer.shaming clients to other clients is unethical, as well as posting your pet without permission. Clearly I am not the only review with a bad experience with this woman. Speaks volumes. What my profession has to do with her poor decision making is interesting.

I'm very fussy when it comes to my Great Danes nails and they did a fantastic job. Tiny my Great Dane gave up a fuss but they were patient and still manage to get the nails trimmed quickly. The owners are very kind. The price was $10 and I'll be back again.

Terrible dog grooming Tabetha most rude women ever. Never take your dog here she just down talked our dogs the whole time. I hope this place shuts down. Most terrible groomer ever and treated dogs really bad. Also not welcoming at all and workers was screaming at dogs there.

I Took both my dogs for nail trimming during the walk-in hours Sat. They got us in and out in 20 min! It was our rescue pups first time getting nails trimmed and it was a good experience for him! Will definitely come back!

Tamara was amazing with our two Westies. I was reluctant finding a new groomer. I was so happy to take a chance on her. She did an amazing doing Westie hair cut with a Carrot tail. My dogs is did so well and didn't want to leave. I d say thats a good sign. Thank you Tamara. We will continue being customers.

Based on some of the bad reviews on here, I would remind everyone of this challenging work they do all day and be more empathetic. She's not rude, she's tired as she's explained. I get that!! Overall I was pleased and she even gave us a sample product to try. Thank you!

Her love and care for animals is such a gift to have, and I’m very glad she uses it through her business. Our dog has never looked, felt, or smelled better! If you need a groomer-look no further!

Only go here please. On 8/4/23. Our experience was of only. Excellent customer service,Professional&without Groomers hestitation of wonderful service. Great care and exceptional grooming of my Fiance's (John) dog. Sammie in my heart is my Dog daughter. Tamera and her colleague were very friendly and understanding,empathic to Sammie's ER need due to sickness grooming needs. We got our dog Sammie in for grooming and cut due to an Emergency situation. Found our new groomer.

We brought our standard poodle to this groomer. After three hours, we got a call to tell us she would have to cut our poodle very short because her hair is too matted.When we picked her up, it was shocking. Our dog no longer looked like a poodle, but more like a greyhound. She was nearly shaved. I do admit that we do not brush her like we should and we will try to be better. However, we only brought her to this groomer because our usual groomer was unavailable. We’ve been taking our dog to a different groomer for few years, and she is always able to accomplish a doodle/poodle cut. Not to mention, my other groomer is half the price. I will never go back. I can’t believe I paid for this.

I’m saddened by our experience here. We recently had our 15 year old fur baby groomed at this location. Overall they appear to have treated my baby girl well and did not perform any services that would have made her uncomfortable or caused pain since she has severe arthritis. For that reason I am grateful to this business and would have given 5 stars but, I docked 3 stars because of the phone call we received.The condescending and judgmental tone with which one of the female employees spoke to my husband when she notified us that our baby was ready to come home was completely uncalled for. Yes my fur baby is 15 years old and overweight. We know this. We have her on maximal pain medications and take her to see her vet regularly. Her most recent visit was in March. Due to her arthritis, her mobility is limited and her weight has been harder to control. For this reason we regularly take her for pool therapy sessions to help ease her joint pain through non-weight bearing exercises. She also gets 2 short walks per day religiously as per her tolerance.I want the caller to know that our fur baby is loved and cared for. And, yes, some of her panting may be pain related (which we are actively working on with her vet) but she also does prefer cooler temperatures which is why we get her hair trimmed. The house temperature is kept between 65-68 degrees for her comfort while the rest of us wear sweaters. Please do not make assumptions about circumstances when you may not know all the information. My husband dotes on our 15 year old baby and frankly, I think his love has been extending her life. She lost her brother last year and was very depressed. My husband hand fed her for weeks when she refused to eat after her brother passed…He did not deserve to hear the judgement in your tone today.We wish you and your business only the best moving forward. We also want to thank you for the care you showed our baby girl. However, we hope that you will afford other fur parents a little more grace and understanding in the future.

Four times we tried to get in our dog for the works. Very disappointed with the ladies attitude. It really seems like she doesn't like dogs. Had to come back because she said she couldn't get our dog in the tub. Our response was our dog will do anything for a treat. Her response was, they don't believe in treats. Very frustrating and rude. Will never consider this place nor recommend.

Very poor experience. I was helped by the woman who I believe is the owner, and I received some of the worst customer service I've gotten anywhere...1. She belittled us for not knowing what kind of cut we wanted. As a dog owner, I know my pet needs to be trimmed, but I am no expert when it comes to dog grooming. Instead of helping us decide what would work best, she talked down to us as if we were idiots.2. After telling her our dog was afraid of the blow dryer, she brushed it off like it was nothing and insisted on using it, not caring about what we had to say or how our pup felt. Once we went to pick up our dog, she confirmed that he was in fact afraid of the blow dryer. Shocker.3. As a working family we were, admittedly, late to pick up our dog (our appointment was during the day). However, once my wife arrived for pick up, she was scolded like a child for not being right on time. There are far better ways to address customers being late.4. We were not asked for vaccination records. We accepted the risk as we've recently moved and have been desperate to find a groomer, but there's a chance that your dog will be exposed to other sick dogs.5. Appointments on the site don't necessarily reflect availability. We originally scheduled our appointment at 8:00am, which would have solved our tardiness mentioned above, but were immediately asked to change our time to 10:00am instead. Small thing, but worth noting.Overall, the grooming itself was fine, but you can find better grooming and customer service for the same or better price elsewhere. Do not recommend.

Fantastic experience! My cat got a bath and blow dry to get rid of some of his shedding winter coat. He's very happy to be home now, and I'm happy to have a little less fur to deal with.

Took my cat here thinking she'd have to get shaved to get rid of her clumped fur. The owner was able to brush her out in less than 10 minutes for cheap. Will come back and tell my friends!

Today, I brought my Great Pyrenees to A Green Day Grooming for a nail trim. My dog was so dramatic and slipped out of his collar out and these guys got down on the ground in their storefront to trim my dog’s nails. Great service working with a difficult pup. Very grateful.

We have been coming here since they were at their previous location- so for many years now. I felt a need to write a review because of some of the negative reviews posted here. Tamera is very knowledgeable! She has often taken time to discuss my pets health, diet as well as provided us with a lot of insight on dogs in general. She may not be warm and fuzzy- but she know and loves animals..... and let’s be honest.....She doesn’t have to schmooze us. She is caring towards our pets and a great resource if you look for discussion. She and Dave always do a terrific job and have never disappointed us. A neighbor recommended them. I took my 7 month old Partí Yorkie in for his 1st grooming. When I picked up my puppy she let me know he is actually a Biewer Terrier. She was extremely knowledgeable and did a great job with his grooming.I spoke with the Husband on the phone to make the appointment and explained about my other dog who can be aggressive when handled. He talked to me about how they would handle him and the wife concurred. I am truly happy that they will take the time to groom him in the future. I did not think that either owner was rude I appreciated the way she shared her knowledge with me.

Tamara and Dave do such a wonderful job with our dog Shadow. His only service there is nails but they are like toenail magicians! Dave was all done with him before I had finished explaining what he might need to do to keep him from trying to escape. Not a peep from him, no struggle, no fear. Super impressed!!

Greeting was not friendly when I walked in with my pet. My pet did not want o willing to into the back with her and the female owner draged my dog into the back. When I picked up my dog I was warmly greeted by the husband owner, he was very nice said my dog was very well behaved and a very nice dog and had no problems with her at all. He went at got my dog, my dog come out all happy and clean and smelled good with short nails.

I recently moved to Franklin and was in the market for a new groomer. After a lengthy search i found A GREEN DOG GROOMING. I called A GREEN DOG GROOMING to schedule an appointment and i was immediately struck by how incredibly rude and condescending the female who answered the phone was(later learned she is the owner.). I actually had to engage her in an argument to get her businesses address. Very peculiar to say the least. We scheduled the appointment for a Saturday. When Saturday arrived i took my dog to A GREEN DOG GROOMING and was met by the same ray of Sunshine i spoke to on the phone. Again, she was angry, extremely rude! Ok I’ll just say it, she was a major C—-! She looked at the clock and told me that it’s 9:45am so be back at 12 noon! So i returned at noon and was again greeted by Ms personality. She looks at her computer and smirks then says I told u to be her at 1!! Your dogs not ready! We can have him ready in 20 minutes if u want to wait!! I would never have told you 1!! She barked at me(no pun intended!). I told her she said 12 noon and she became very angry and continued to argue with me! I told her i wanted my dog back and that i would patronize another groomer! She went in back in a huge huff to get my dog. Eventually she returned and she literally threw my dog into my arms. I was appalled by her behavior and it took everything in me not to really let her have it! I highly recommend any other groomer as this woman isn’t worthy of any business and you certainly shouldn’t trust her with your beloved animals! Undoubtedly those who gave positive reviews are either friends or family! 👎

The staff is so kind and accommodating when I call last minute to have my Great Dane, Kahleesi's nails trimmed. Her nails are always great and she does not seem to mind making a trip to "A Green Dog" Great prices too!
