Would like to mention that I spent $19 on a porterhouse steak which was approximately an inch and a quarter thick on one end and probably less than 3/4 of an inch thick on the other end which made it impossible for me to cook the whole steak as medium rare. Also there were two tendons about 2 in apart from each other running right through the middle of the meet which I was surprised for the quality of meet you guys cell. Very disappointed.

My husband wanted “good” brats from Wisconsin so I stopped in. The ones I purchased were absolutely delicious. At that time I purchased one cranberry brat to try. I pulled it out of the freezer today and cooked it in the air fryer. I was so glad I got it. It was wonderful. I will definitely be stopping to get some to take home and freeze before the campground closes for the season in October.

Stopped in today to get a couple of NY strips and some jerky. The steaks were melt in the mouth delicious & the jerky is tender and meaty, not like the shoe leather you get at local groc stores. Been here 8-10 times over the past year or so and I've never had a bad product. Shop here and you won't be disappointed. 👍👍

Had a deer processed here. Friendly service. Turn over was about 3 days. Definitely recommend checking them out for your butcher and deer processing needs.

The timing of processing their venison steaks is amazing. Especially, with the volume of wild game they receive during season. If you're looking for summer sausage and jerky, that'll take some time and patience, but it's for a savory flavor you'll never forget. By the way, you are guaranteed the deer you harvested during season, to be given back to you. Thank you so much Milton Meat Market!

After plenty of mixups with other deer processing sites we have finally found our go to place. We've been bringing our deer here for the past couple of years now and it has been great knowing that we are getting our own deer back. We get our venison back quickly and our order is always correct.Also my favorite place to buy any other fresh meat we need. I've never gotten a bad cut of meat from them their staff is super friendly and their prices are very reasonable.

First time reviewing anything on any site. This place was so good I wanted to post a review. Brought a deer here for processing. My wife and kids don’t typically like deer venison (even specialty sticks, sausage etc). They all love it. And every time I have another snack stick I like it better. I think it’s the best venison sticks I’ve ever had. Price was fair and what was expected too. If you’re looking for a place to bring your deer, you can’t go wrong here.

Cuts and processed meat come back very well done and delicious. Definately my new go to venison processor and I recommend everyone give them a shot!

As far as sticks and jerky, there is no comparison to quality and flavor. Also, the sticks that they make for our furry friends are all natural and salt free. The real proper bologna is absolutely no joke and should be part of every American household meal. Excellent products and fantastic service.

Today a stop at The Meat Market was so rewarding, we will definitely be back! We picked up fresh ground chuck which we've done before. Always good to say the least. But, today we picked up some brats; pineapple and teriyaki. These are absolutely amazing. From a person who eats little meat; these are a must on your grill! Stop in, pick some up and gey ready to be amazed! The service is also very good.

I took a whitetail doe here for processing. I had shot it at last light the evening before. The doe was found at first light the following morning and promptly field dressed. Temps were in the high 20's and low 30's overnight. When I arrived the employees asked when I shot it, I told them and they said they would not take it because it was rotten. Also they said it would rot after hanging in their cooler. I offered to skin it, at which point they attempted to give me a biology lesson. In decades of hunting I have never lost meat in an animal I recovered, and have butchered several of my own animals. They made a very incorrect assumption without even looking at my deer. The employees either severly lack knowledge on hunting and recovering game or simply dont want the business. They were condescending and extremely rude. Went to Pernats in Johnson Creek. Very nice people who were courteous and respectful. I was told by them what I already knew. My deer was clean with no rot. My family and I support local business and live only minutes from the Milton Meat Market. They have permanently lost our business. Hunters, do youself a favor and head to Pernats!

I buy a lot of my meat at Milton Meat Market. Love the quality and am so proud to share it with my loved ones. I love the steaks, burger and everything pork! They also have a great freezer with some great twice baked potatoes and seafood.The customer service is awesome! The girls are apparently great cooks and when you tell them you love to cook you are off to an incredible wealth of information regarding how to prepare your precious purchases.Last Christmas I talked with my friend DeAnna who works at the meat counter and she ordered me my annual Prime Rib Roast for my family. My family are big prime rib eaters and visit many of the best super clubs to enjoy their favorite cut during the year. I went to pick up my prime rib and the gal at the counter gave me great advice on how to cook it in my new electric convection oven and a prime rib rub from Penzie's that I absolutely had to pick up. She was right, if you are doing prime rib you need this rub!If you are a concientious cook and your definition of LOVE is feeding your family quality food, you will absolutely love the Milton Meat Market. They do not disappoint! You will feel like a milliion bucks when you watch your family eat and enjoy the wonderful meal you took the time to make for them.

Old School Real Deal Sausage, tried this little shack out today and was blown away with the taste and texture of the beef sticks (multiple flavors) the summer sausage is amazing good flavor smoked to perfection. Also tried the smoked bologna, yummy!! I travel from Northern MN to see the in-laws every year and I’m always trying out meat markets on the way, found this little gem today. This will officially be my go to meat market when I’m down here from now on.

Not worth getting Covid when nobody behind the counter is following the mask mandate. I found it quite ironic that there were a basket full of masks up for sale on the meat counter too. It would be great if a business that is in the food industry could abide by the mandate and respect their customers and ensure safety is a priority. Really makes you wonder what other health protocol they ignore.

It's always fun to stop at the Milton Meat Market! They have THE BEST steaks around. In Madison, I cannot find anything even close to the quality of their meat. I always get the ribeye and the marbling is soooo perfect. I also recommend their cheddar snack sticks, hands down I have never tasted better beef sticks. If steak/beef isnt your thing, they have plenty other options to offer; pork chops, brats, jerky and more. DO NOT pass this place up!

What a rip off! After My taxidermist was nice enough to completely skin and quarter my bear, I brought 4 large hunks of meat into 'the meat market' in milton, and wanted it ground into hamburger, adding 6 pounds of beef hamburger to it that's it. No sausage. No cleaning.... Remove bone. Mix with beef. Grind and package.... $124!!!!! I questioned it and his reply was 'oh well' 'I sleep just fine at night' Russ, the owner, could seemingly care less about our local hunting community. Sad to see a local business care so little. $124!!??

Ordered a 7lb “Bone In” for Christmas. My wife picked it up, did not look, just paid and took it. My brother, a Chef began cooking the roast on the grill and as the strings were breaking, the bones were falling off because they were actually cut off. There are USDA regulations about mislabeling meat cuts. You are not allowed to sell roasts like that as “bone-in”. He looks at me like Im an idiot and says, “yea” thats how we do them so they are easier to cut”. Well that is not the way to sell a “bone in” rib roast. Not to mention, they could have left the ribs off and sold it as a boneless and that would have been fine. And not to forget that they sold it to my wife as 8 1/2 lbs and charged for all of it. And he thought that was good business practice. I told him how he could make me happy, he threw 10$ at me and told me to leave. I will never give this place another dollar.

I love getting meat here. But, I am disappointed that they are not following the mask policy. The only thing they had up was piece of plexiglass to protect the customers. This really makes me sad. I guess they don't care about their customers or their workers. They have lost my business.

I do not typically go to Milton, but The Meat Market makes me want to. Their hot sticks and jerky are to die for. I did not buy any on this trip, but the fresh meats look good enough to eat raw. I'll be back!!!

Besides rude, impatient, and no thanks for your business, one male worker kept wiping his nose with his hand & standing next to meat on back counter. If he would have served me even with gloves on, I would have walked out. Not bad experience for 1st time ( sarcasm inserted)and last time customer.
