Definitely a fantastic experience with quality service! Needing a couple of small hardware pieces for odd sized fittings, they were quickly found and took the guess work out of the problem. My hedgehog also greatly appreciated having his wheel fixed and back in service after a plastic fitting became worn out. They had the perfect replacement part, amazing service and excellent pricing.

It's Ace, cool. The value of a business is who works for your business. These guys: Paul, Ben, Rick. I bought a 19th century home with a bad luck streak on repairs; would be lost without them. I have saved thousands of dollars doing my own repairs with their guidance (in just 6 months).Go to Menards to save a buck and spend an hour trying to find an employee who might help me? Pass. If you're stuck on something, go where I go, and ask for these guys. They will help you.

I like ace but I dont go very often because it's really expensive and I don't like how they do some of there ads because some of the sales it says only for certain stores and I didn't see that till I was at the checkout so I ended up not buying anything .

Bought a grill that was a floor model, but they still charged me the assembly fee. Other than that, it's a great place to shop6/17/23 Called to check price/availability on an item. The person gave me a price for a similar but incorrect product. Luckily they did have the correct part in stock at about half the price I was quoted.

Was in the last couple weekends customer service has gone down hill bad but then I stopped I'm today to exchange empty water bottles and was told they don't take primo water bottles anymore so I asked for my deposit back that they originally charged me for them now the owner offered to refund me out of his own pocket for the one I had but I have 3 more. I said I guess I need to take my business elsewhere and he said with a smile on his face that's fine by me. No problem taking my money as a deposit but when it comes to exchanging or refunding me for ones I bought there that's another issue never will I go there again since Menards is only 5 minutes away

My first time in this store today. Since I live in Janesville and there is an Ace by my house no need to come here. But wow I wish my Ace was as nice and friendly as this one was! Super nice store and the aisles were clean and laid out nicely. The staff was extremely helpful and tried to find everything on my list. We came for the mums on sale and I'm glad we did. I may just have to make the trip more often.

Was in the store today 3/3/22 had a plumping issue, I'm clearly NOT a plumber, But this very voung lady called for back up to this taller guy bout my age and he had me up and running with the parts I needed along with a few jokes . Feels good to know even water running at my house to the floor we can get it done and crack a joke still good folks in this world thanks guys

This Ace is really well run, and has a great selection for a neighborhood hardware store. And somebody to ask questions is always easy to find - which means you save time versus going to one of the larger stores in Janesville.

I'm not really a "handy-man" so I depend on the staff at Dave's to help me out with the technical end of the various "honey-do" projects I get. I've never been let down. They always give honest advice even if it means I have to go elsewhere. The prices are some what more that discount stores, but the convenience, friendly service, and technical assistance are more than sufficient to outweigh any price differential. I'd much rather deal with local staff that knows me by name than the nameless, automatons that staff other, larger stores who know where a hammer is located but haven't a clue how to use it. As they say "Ace is the place."

Its not a very big store, Ive walked in many times looking for something oddly particular, thinking "this is a long shot" but they always have it. cant find what you are looking for? I love Dave's Ace and think it is a real asset to Milton. Not only can I find the parts I need, but I find the service is top notch too. The store is clean and well-organized all of the time. You never go into a dark corner or find parts laying in the aisles. In fact, rarely do you ever find parts in the wrong bins or put away haphazardly. You can tell that the workers take pride in where they work.Dave (the owner) and his family, his employees, and Dave's Ace Hardware give back more to the greater community of Milton in one year than most of us will in a lifetime. We would be hard-pressed to find a member of the community that isn't touched in some way by his efforts. His team's (family, workers...) efforts help area families in need of food, the Gathering Place, the Milton House & Milton Historical Society, making our parks as great as they are, the schools, numerous fundraisers, and the list goes on and on and on. This alone could be the reason I make Dave's Ace Hardware my first stop when I am in need of something.

Dave's Milton Ace Hardware gets my better half's smiling face in there at least on average 3 to 4 times a week or maybe more. We live about 4 miles away, so he's constantly in there for nuts, bolts, washers, his favorite pretzels by the 2 pound bags, paint, and anything else he needs during the week. He has taken over my Ace card and the $5.00 reward cards that come in the mail often. I rarely get to use them for my favorites, bird seed, hummingbird nectar, bird feeders, and stuff I use for gardening, flowers, and stuff like that.

I Love Milton Ace Hardware! I had 2 girls help me today and tell me all about Led light bulbs and the energy they save. I learned a lot from them. They are truly the helpful hardware store!!
