Tabby & Jack's is amazing. They offer wonderful, safe pet products and treats, and the staff is always friendly and helpful. Their grooming service is top notch. My groomer, Paula, always does an amazing job!

I just stopped by to see if they had an item, and I overheard a conversation between a nice woman who came in with her two kids. They were in a super good mood, and they asked the hipster guy at the counter what kind of treats a golden retriever would like. The guy was incredibly unfriendly and said “I don’t know, I don’t have a golden retriever, and I’ve never had one before”. Seriously?! I wanted to interrupt and say “Almost anything!” (as an owner of a picky poodle most of the golden retrievers I’ve met are not so picky and I’m envious). The woman and the kids mood significantly dipped, and they uncomfortably tried to explain that they don’t have a golden retriever, and that they’re just trying to buy a gift for friend’s golden retriever. They ended up buying two little fancy overpriced cookies (which a Golden will eat in one gulp probably) even though there were TONS of incredible treats in there. How disappointing and surprising that the guy didn’t take a second to give them a few options and instead had to display his attitude problem. After looking around for what I needed and not being able to find it, when I asked him, he was as unfriendly as could be. Having a pet store near the co-op is convenient but I’m going to continue to go out of my way to go elsewhere because the experience was just too depressing. Buyer beware.

The gal who did my foxy nails last time really took her time w my scared Pomeranian great job not sure gals name but she does good work the nails were short as she could get them w out and boo boos. Great work

My dog went in for a deshedding and came back to an amazing coat that continues to be silky smooth a couple of weeks later. Treat your dog with kindness and are super professional. 15 year old 60lb mix dog breed fyi.

I haven't gotten much help the couple times I've stopped in. I have questions and need to have confidence in the person answering. They carry two brands I use, but not the protein my dog needs. She didn't offer to see if they could order them. They carry a variety of brands and have a lot to offer. Just not for us.

Three weeks ago I fell and broke both of my wrists. At my two week post op surgical appointment yesterday I learn I need a second surgery in three days. I call and explain my unfortunate situation to Avery. She did what she could & got my anxiety full Chuweenie in last minute while OMW to get my Covid-19 test so I can quarantine & heal without worrying. Avery held my fur baby because I was REALLY struggling. Then Jenifer took my baby back & gently clipped her nails for me. These women were so supportive. There are less than a few places I feel comfortable taking my baby….Without a doubt Tabby and Jacks Middleton is now one place I know they’re tender & truly love animals…………..their human!Thank you!Edwina & Brooklyn!

I recently took my beloved furry friend to this groomer and it was an absolute nightmare. My dog is still traumatized a week later and I'm pretty sure it's because of the careless and unprofessional treatment he received during his grooming session.To start with, my dog's ears were clearly injured as they were visibly swollen and bleeding after the grooming. It's evident that they did not take enough care while trimming his hair around the ears. Even after applying some ointment, my dog was constantly shaking his head and whining in pain for a couple of days. It was really heart-wrenching to see him suffer like this.Another visible injury was on his private parts, I noticed that my dog was licking and scratching at his balls a lot more than usual after coming back from the groomer. It seemed like they had nicked him during the trimming process and it was causing him a lot of discomfort.Overall, I am extremely disappointed with the services provided by this facility. It's evident that they lack the necessary skills and training to handle animals in a humane and safe manner. I would never recommend anyone to take their furry friend to this groomer as it could cause severe trauma and harm to your pet.

This was the single most traumatizing visit for my dog and my spouse. We've tried the Middleton location a couple times for nail trimming and it's been OK, not great. This past time though, they butchered my dogs nails! I don't know if the groomer even knows how to trim nails. We stopped at another location, different pet facility, and the groomers their pointed out the dremmel trimmed it sideways, which we saw, but also pointed out several of the nails were cut to the quick and bleeding. Now we have to watch our sweetie for infections! My wife was literally vibrating because of how upset she was. We recommend you go some where else if you care about your canine friends!

So happy with my grooming experience with Leah! It was my dog's first time going to a different groomer because of the no contact rule. Leah was fabulous in being honest in my dog's grooming needs and really listened to what I wanted. She also made sure that she was following the no contact rule. I was thrilled that she was done in one hour as opposed to my other groomer who takes three hours. My dog looks great and does not seem to be distressed after the appointment. I will absolutely consider coming here again--even after this quarantine!

Retail employees under the age of 18 are regularly scheduled and required to work 6-12 hours in a day without a (legally mandated) meal period. Retail employees are told that they are not allowed to eat when customers are in the store as well. The owner of this company has been known to be disrespectful to her employees, and has a track record of wrongfully terminating dedicated and hardworking people. After over a year of working here, Tabby and Jack's has lost the business of myself, my family, and my close friends due to their unethical business practices. Please shop elsewhere if you want to support a business that respects and appreciates their employees.

I really want to like this store because they are local business owners and they have and offer all the food and services I look for when it comes to my dog. But unfortunately I've had so many mixed results with grooming. Sometimes they do a wonderful job and I'm super impressed, and then a few times they didn't seem to listen to what I asked for and after looking my dog over closer at home I noticed that his fur was not trimmed evenly, and in some areas not even very neatly. This was among different groomers, so I'm sure if you have one person who you like and go back to, you will get satisfactory results each time.

My dog absolutely loves going to daycare at Tabby and Jacks. He had a terrible experience with Daycare at Dogtopia and I thought he'd never like daycare again. Now, he pulls me through the door and comes home happy and tired, rather than shaking and scared.They don't have cameras but I can tell the staff cares so much and they take such good care of the dogs here and they get a lot more personal attention than other boarding facilities. My dog's demeanor tells me everything I need to know, but I also love the report cards!! Thanks for all you do!

I have had nothing but good experiences here-- VERY helpful and nice people who love animals here. The food selection is wonderful. One of my animals has health issues/skin so I have had to do a few different types of food. I am impressed with the breadth of knowledge about animal foods and their ingredients all the employees are so knowledgeable I used to work for a groomer and when I see their dogs come out they are always so happy like they had fun. Usually dogs get stressed but not here the dogs are like "really do I have to go home?"

I take my pup here for daycare almost every weekday. She has separation anxiety and took some time to get used to the team and the environment, but she's really flourished! They were patient in getting her used to it and she's always been excited to go. They keep me updated with her behavior and how things go, and I trust them to take care of her all day :)The food, treat and toy selection is great, and I like that they offer holistic solutions for common problems. Staff are always helpful and willing to give advice about products.Two thumbs up, and two paws from a happy pup.

I’m so glad to have Tabby and Jac’s on the west side. Great daycare and grooming! My dog loves her groomer Brianna, and I do too. She does a wonderful job, is always on time and clearly loves dogs. She always consults to make sure she gives the cut we want. We have also seen Kelsey who is an excellent stylist!

My dog refuses to allow me to.touch his feet. However, I always get stellar reviews on his behavior during nail trims. I cannot stress enough how appreciative I am of being able to get in and out for a quick trim with a happy pooch. He appreciates the treat he gets for being a good boy.

This has honestly been the best grooming experience in my 9 years as a dog owner. Quick, reliable & I love the products they use & sell :) The staff has always been friendly & my 4 year old son loves bringing our dog in & even had his stuffed animal dog "groomed" by the groomer, which they were very sweet about.

We have a high anxiety rescue dog and he is very fearful. He would not let us cut his nails so we tried Tabby & Jack's Mobile groom at an event. They had his nails done in 5 min with no struggling!! It was amazing so we tried out the store and haven't turned back. Brennan is amazing with Jim and he is always excited to see her. With out here I don't know what we would do.

Do not shop here! The poor customer service is due to poor ownership. I have been treated so disrespectfully by employees when handling a mistake made by them. Every time I go in to shop a "sale" I was told about via email the employees tell me they're "never told about the sales". How frustrating that customers have to bring up the email to verify and the employees look bad because the owner doesn't care enough to make them aware of the sale.Once, on small business Saturday, when I was charged full price for several sale items, I called and the employee, that mind you was the only one working at their "largest" location on such a big shopping day and was brand new was very rude that I was calling asking for a refund and told me I needed to drive 60 minutes in total to be refunded because other locations that were closer weren't capable of refunding another stores sales.My final straw was when I special ordered a Fromm formula they didn't carry for my puppy with tummy issues and despite being promised that my food would arrive by a certain date, after having to call several times and speak to multiple employees before they even confirmed they could order it, it was never ordered. When I placed the order I told them I was almost out of food but that I preferred to shop locally and so if they could guarantee a delivery date I would just go to Mounds and get a small bag to tie me over. I called the morning the food was supposed to arrive and was told they would call me once they knew if it came in, even though I was guaranteed it would be ordered. I was told the order came in at 12:30. When I called back at 5:30 because I hadn't heard anything a different employee answered and when I asked about my food she immediately, very rudely said, "Oh yeah, they told me, I forgot to call you, your food isn't here." No apology for "forgetting to call me". No apology for the food not arriving and offering to look into what happened. When I asked why the food didn't arrive and inquired if you forgot to order it, she again responded with an attitude saying, "Well I guess." I then explained to her that I had told the person I had ordered the food with that I would be out of food and that it was vital for me to have this food and she responded, "Well can't you just get a different bag of food?" Like it was no big deal, clearly not understanding that you can't just pick any food at random for dogs, despite the fact that she works in a dog store. I asked if I could speak with a manager and she said no one was available. I asked if she could have a manager call me because of the time sensitivity and she was clearly annoyed I was asking so much of her. She was extremely rude through the entire encounter, I was baffled.After speaking with who I thought was a manager, but was later told was an executive assistant, I was told the ordering manager was out sick the day before, when they placed the order, and none of the specialty orders were placed. I couldn't believe the ordering manager didn't walk through whoever placed the orders how to place the specialty orders or at the very least let the people expecting specialty what happened so they could figure out an alternative. But what really bothered me is that they offered me no remedy for my treatment or them not placing my order.Finally I asked for the owner to contact me and I explained that I was frustrated that I was offered no solution to my problem when I spend thousands of dollars a year at her store, she didn't apologize or anything and instead hung up on me and emailed me to tell me she didn't appreciate my "attitude" and was no longer welcome at her store. I had no attitude, just frustration and matter-of-fact speaking because I wasn't exactly happy that they left my dog with no food and no time to get him food because most other stores were closed. I thought small businesses really cared about their customers but I guess for Tabby and Jack's customer service is an oxy moron. The bad attitudes and lack of help people speak of is clearly due to the ownership.

I absolutely LOVE Tabby & Jacks. We have been taking our dog to Tabby & Jacks for grooming for 5 years and they have done an AMAZING job every single time. All of the groomers are very professional and VERY good at what they do. They have a huge selection of everything your need for your pets. All of the staff is very friendly and happy to help you any way they can. I can't say enough great things about Tabby & Jacks and all of the staff.

I’m so happy after taking my dog here to get groomed. My dog was neglected by his previous owner and had very matted fur. I didn’t expect Maiya to be able to shave him down due to his dislike of being handled and anxiety, but she did a fantastic job!!
