Many of our neighbors recommended Nonn's for our numerous house renovations. We used Nonn's for replacing carpeting with luxury vinyl in our basement living area and was completely satisfied. We then used Nonn's for tiling our new tub area in one of our three bathrooms. After a few months, we had an issue with one of the tiles and Nonn's sent someone to repair it. We then solicited Nonn's help with replacing our bathroom floor. We decided to go with 1" hexagon porcelain tile, black and white. To say that the tile installer was incredibly underqualified to install the tile is a vast understatement. During installation, I noticed a pattern issue. I pointed it out to the installer and he fixed that particular problem, but then, after he grouted, we noticed that in correcting the original problem, he created a new problem with the pattern. We also noticed that the tile in the closet (the previous homeowners tiled a portion of the closet that also serves as the ceiling to stairs below) looked unbelievably bad. Not only was the pattern completely off, but the tiler made a mess of the grout, both in the closet and along the bathtub. See the photo of the closet tile. A supervisor was sent to assess the situation and agreed that the issues needed to be corrected. I asked that the same tiler not be sent and was told that he had a "right to cure." I then requested that the same supervisor oversee the corrections. Somewhere along the line, I made it known to our sales representative, Lisa, in an email that we are incredibly unhappy, to which she basically wrote "I'm sorry your tile wasn't installed correctly." After more tile was ordered for correcting the issues, the same tiler and the supervisor attempted to fix the issues by removing and installing individual tiles, only they did a poor job in many places. See the photo of black tile that was not properly aligned and set. We complained that there are still issues, despite a supervisor "overseeing" the corrections. A "fixer" was then sent out, and when the fixer noticed all of the areas we had marked for correction, he told us the best thing would be to remove all of the flooring and re-do it. He contacted the same aforementioned supervisor before completing any work. After contacting the supervisor, he changed his tune and began replacing individual tiles. Lisa followed up with me a week or so ago in order to inquire as to whether we are satisfied. I told her all is fine. However, two days ago, while walking barefoot in the bathroom, I noticed at least two areas where the tile is not flush. That is, one or more of the tiles are raised and now that the grout has "settled," the grout looks like Swiss cheese in areas. We believe the "fixer" was correct in that the floor needed to be re-done completely. We are incredibly dissatisfied with Nonn's and will not return, which is a shame for Nonn's, as we have two more bathrooms, a kitchen, and two levels (flooring) to remodel. We have ensured that all of our neighbors, especially those who recommended Nonn's, know about the completely botched tile job and the fact that Nonn's demands 100 percent payment up front, before installation (said neighbors seem surprised, perhaps as though Nonn's has changed its payment policy). Everyone with whom I share the Nonn's cautionary tale is shocked relative to the problems we have experienced AND the fact that Nonn's demands 100 percent payment in advance. It is my recommendation that those looking for qualified, seasoned professionals to install tile look elsewhere.

Highest quality service, highest quality products at incredible prices! We purchased our kitchen granite and backsplash from Nonn's for an instant upgrade. From start to finish, this is one of the best experiences we've had during our house remodel. We worked with Kelsey, who is phenomenal. She guided us through the process, answered all of our questions, was always available to respond to emails and has fantastic ideas for creating your dream home. We will continue to turn to Nonn's for our home projects and highly recommend them!

I am writing this after years of frustration with this company. Everyday I look at the countertops that Nonns installed in the house we built. To say we are dissapointed would be a huge understatement. The worst offense is the slabs they installed were either stained by them or switched out on us and now I have red stains in my white & grey countertops in the center of my island. They also installed them with a crack which seems like they glued back together hoping i wouldn't notice. I used them for countertops, flooring, tile, etc. I have had no luck getting them to help since, not to mention even admit they screwed up and up apologize. They blame me and say I chose the slab. To them it is just another job, but to me it was my new house and every day I am reminded of my poor choice in using Nonns. Beware, they do not care about your home or satisfaction. Just want your money.

2 years ago we remodeled our entire kitchen. we purchased appliances from Nonns... the fridge came in wrong, then the replacement came in dammaged.. then after 6 months, the under counter ice machine quite working.. and still to this day is not working. They sent out repair person and got the unit up but 6 months later, not working. very frustrated especially with how expensive the products were, the sales rep responds but does nothing to get this resolved. I will not be making any future purchases with Nonns.. not local anymore and clearly not responsive to their customers.

Visited several tile stores, and I found a tile that would work at Nonn’s. I was ordering a small order and they said I would have to pay for it upfront and there would be no returns. I said well if I get the product that I order, there will be no returns. I received a call in less than two weeks and excited. I went to pick them up at their warehouse, which is not at the store. Took a look at them before I signed and they were a completely different color than what I ordered. So I had to sign for them and I did and wrote on the sales slip pick up that they weren’t the right color and I’m not taking them home, but I’m taking them back to the store to discuss it with the sales person. I took them back and discussed it with the person who sold them to me and she was adamant that they were within close enough to not except the return. I left them there a couple of days never heard back from her and she was supposed to talk to the owner. I contacted them after a few days in the same story that the color was close enough. Wow, which started out to be nice people and a great conversation with anything, but that when the tile came in the wrong color. I took my wife out so she could look at the colors because she actually didn’t see, the ones that came in. After looking at them with the sales lady, my wife said you don’t see a difference in the color and she said no they are the same as the floor sample. My wife said are you serious and she said I’m dead serious. And we left. I contacted my credit card company to let them know we did not take the tiles and they were the wrong color. Within a day I received an email from the sales rep saying that they’ve credited in my credit card for the amount that I paid for the tile. I’m putting this out there because I think people should know who they’re dealing with and I think the store is just not really caught up in many aspects of their show samples and how they conduct their business. I’m not putting in the sales person’s name because I feel this is a management or owners position because she seemed a bit frightened about the whole thing. So I probably won’t ever go there again.

I was in there looking at bathroom tile for maybe 10 minutes. Prices were higher than the flooring place off the beltline I had just been to, but I wanted to compare. It was a nice, clean store and they had a decent selection, but price is my priority. A little tip: play music. It was dead silence in that back room. Music makes people linger longer.

I made an appointment to talk with a sales person about some stupidly high end Italian appliances at the Middleton location. When I showed up, no one was there to meet me - despite the appointment. So I wandered around looking for the appliances I was interested in for about 20 minutes or so. I even managed to drop a filter from a vent hood and made a LOUD clanging noise. Still no one bothered to check with me. Not sure if it is because I am visibly queer, or don't look like I could afford the appliances I was shopping for, or just basic incompetence, but I will never be back. I ended up buying my new appliances from Brothers Main. So all Nonn's accomplished was sending their competition my $20K in business. As another Vivienne famously said - Big Mistake. Huge.

I will never buy another appliance from anyone else. Our new fridge stopped cooling last week. I made 1 phone call to Mary Kay, the sales rep I had been working with, and in less than 2 hours I had a loaner fridge, then five minutes after he left the technician arrived to assess the issue. Best customer service ever!! 👌

If it was possible to rate as Zero stars, I would! We contracted Nonn's to install new flooring. Selection process was smooth. Installation was a complete disaster! First, installer was lazy and had to stay until 9:00 for two nights in order to complete project. Then, turns out installation was not done correctly. Workmanship was incredibly poor. Entire project had to be redone (not until another 7 weeks later). As an added bonus, the first installer caused damage to our home (damaged doors, fireplace, among others). I could go on, as this is just a summary. Bottom line, if you want to deal with massive headaches and have your project take 8 weeks longer than what you signed up for, Nonn's would be great for you!!

I went to nuns on a weekday just after lunchtime recently and I had a bad experience because I received no customer service. I was in the store for nearly 15 minutes I walked slowly through every department but no sales person said hello or smiled at me or made any attempt to greet me or ask me why I was there or if I needed help. I tried to help myself by looking at the kitchen displays and reading the signs on the counters but I wasn't able to find any samples or get the information that I needed on my own. so I left and drove halfway across town to gerhart's where I received wonderful customer service.

We stopped at the Madison location looking for carpet and LVP. We took carpet samples home on a Tuesday morning, decided on a carpet and LVP. I called back to Kathy , sales associate, and left a message on her extension we would like to schedule for measuring that same afternoon. Never got a reply back. On the next Monday we returned the samples and Kathy asked if we would like to schedule for measuring, I said I had left her a message previous Tuesday afternoon. She looked like she was in another world, no answer. So we scheduled measuring. The guy showed up , measured and said we would hear from Kathy, we are now 3 1/2 weeks later and still no estimate. I would say NEVER will I stop at or use Nonns for anything.

Great service, excellent team! Can't say enough about this business. I went to every place in madison. If you are considering remodeling, stop into Nonn's. They will take the time to explain all your options and find what fits your needs. Our kitchen looks amazing! Strongly recommend.

We paid in full for flooring and countertop this September and 4 days before our countertop is to be installed we find out it's on back order until end of December. I've never written a negative review in my life but we get to have a house full of loved ones over for Thanksgiving and Christmas in an unfinished kitchen. Pretty disappointed to say the least.

Great quality carpets, huge selection. They also let you take samples to test at home. Very busy but also flexible and catering to individual needs. E.g. the crew during installation noticed an area where it smelled from pet urine (old accident) and recommended we apply Kilz before they continue. We were rebooked easily within the next 3 weeks and the job was completed afterwards. Highly recommended.

If I could give 0 stars I would! Horrible customer service when I arrived it took about 10 minutes to have someone help me, which I thought was odd but I was ok with that. When I did receive help Annie greeted us by saying” I’m sorry I didn’t realize we had an appointment” after which I reminded her the we spoke about an hour ago on the phone to notify her that I was coming in and have been communicating via email for a week. Still I attempted to give her the benefit of doubt, my last straw was again feeling that I was inconveniencing her while looking at flooring. I was planning on spending tens on thousands between quartz countertops, flooring and backsplash but they will ever see a cent of my money. I would reconsider even stepping foot in this place!

I walked in 2days ago, paint on my clothing, and stain on my hands. I looked around for someone​ who worked there. I looked up and saw someone on her cell phone...and she turned and looked away. I saw the reception desk and walked towards it. 2 young women both looked at me...and at first said nothing...the blonde looked at me again and walked away without a word. I put my hands out gesturing that I was right in front of them. The other young woman took me to the section of the store I was inquiring about and left to get a sales person. I stood there for a moment...and decided to walk out. I bought my flooring at Coyle for a bathroom. I have much more to do in the building, but needed a remnant asap. They were wonderful and attentive...they also didn't look at me like a fly on the wall.
