I adore this place and everyone that works there! From boarding to training sessions, they have hands-down the best employees! They are professional and approachable throughout the doggy chaos. As a nurse, I have a hectic work schedule, Dogtopia has put my mind at ease when scheduling day care with them and I know Truman is in great care, not to mention I know he is having FUN. We have been working with Stephanie T. for training, she is everything you would want in a trainer and more. She is kind, collaborative, knowledgeable, and energetic. I could go on and on about this place, thanks for all you do you guys, you are appreciated more than you know. Truman and I are lucky to have you!

I took my dog here for training while back and it was disgusting. The fans and ceilings were caked with dirt. It smelled strongly of pee to the point of an ammonia stench. They claimed to have cleaned the floors and they were wet and drying most of the time on arrival. The only time I felt like my dog was learning and playing in a clean environment is when we were outside in a little fenced in area. The kennels I saw in the rooms I was in were rusty.Don't board or let your dog go here! It isn't clean! I had a few friends tell me that their dogs went here for daycare and came home stinking of pee. This is why.I'm assuming they'll take this down since it is super negative but maybe one of two people will see it before they do.

The staff is extremely friendly and accommodating. I could tell that each one of them truly cared about their work. During our meet and greet they took the time to answer any questions I had. My dog seemed to love his first time at doggy daycare! We will definitely be returning to Dogtopia for daycare, boarding, and grooming services.

The staff at Dogtopia is amazing, caring and excellent with my dogs. I also love being able to watch my dogs on camera and see how their day is going! I highly recommend Dogtopia to anyone for daycare or boarding.

My dog gets so excited when we get within 2 blocks of the Middleton Dogtopia! She can't wait to see her dog and human friends. The staff is friendly and kind. We love to watch our dog on the Webcam.

I wrote a review as "neptune vulpis" and they flagged my review for removal because I had "never been a customer" well here's the funny thing about that. This isn't my real name. I am concealing my real name because the owner of this location is known to be volatile. I am a former employee of this location. This is my experience. The rooms are horribly kept. It reeks of urine. Multiple dogs leave with signs of stress. This is not a safe place to bring your dog. They leave one employee with 30-40 dogs, sometimes more. Dogs often eat each other's feces because no one person can handle that many dogs. It's inhumane for the people and the dogs. They go through employees very quickly. They have an insanely high turnover rate and it shows. Do not trust dogtopia. And don't remove a review over a name. People use alternative names online all the time. It isn't new. And don't use that as your excuse to prune reviews you don't like.

Don't trust this place. They often have one employee taking care of 30-40 dogs, the rooms reek of urine, and. A lot of dogs end up leaving with signs of significant stress. This isn't a safe place to bring your dog. I couldn't recommend this place less. Please don't bring your dog here. Also worth noting that the staff turnover is extremely high. All of this seems symptomatic of a bigger issue with this location.

Our dog Mia loves Dogtopia and the team is very nice, respectful, responsive and knowledgeable! Would highly recommend to anyone who wants to socialize their dog, but want the peace of mind that they are safe and having fun!

This is the first daycare my pup truly thrived in. It is due to the extra care of the staff to correct and reward behaviors, the incorporation of training and stimulation, and the mixed indoor/outdoor setting. We could not recommend enough.

Very friendly team, they love your dog & genuinely seem excited for you to be bringing your dog to them. My dog is excited & wants to go inside as soon as we get there :)

The staff here are great and make drop off and pickup really convenient. In the morning we pull up to the door and someone comes out, greets me, opens the back door of my car and takes our dog inside. In the afternoon they bring him back out again let me know how his day went.My little boy (6 months) is very skiddish around other dogs, on his first weekday of doggy daycare the staff took the time to stay with him to try and get him to interact with the other dogs but he basically just hid out trying to get as far away from the other dogs and noise as he could. Instead of just leaving him there and letting him "get used to the other dogs" which would have freaked him out the kind and considerate staff took him up front in the office area and called me to let me know what happened. They suggested that it may be a good idea for that day to pick him up as he was kinda overwhelmed but let me there was no hurry if I was busy. When I did pick him up he was having the time of his life up front getting tons of attention, I can't tell how grateful I was that they were taking such good care of him. They also suggested we start him out with Saturday puppy play time which we are doing and things are going very well there. He's getting more comfortable being around other dogs and playing in a pack!

Our dog can’t contain his excitement when we drop him off for a day at Dogtopia. He sleeps well after spending a day there. The staff seem to enjoy interacting with him and are alway kind and polite.

I want start off and say our experience started off great. Our Dalmatian had a lot of fun, the staff seemed to really like her, and all our report cards came back very positive. However our Dalmatian has been asked not to come back for some odd reasons. The assistant manager at Dogtopia claimed that other dogs were struggling to understand her because of her markings, her body language differed from “typical” dog body language, and she can’t self regulate her energy as well as other dogs. What is puzzling for us, is that they claim there were no incidents of aggression, nor hurt any other dogs. They asked us to bring our Dalmatian back when she’s more socialized. But seeing as she is a 4 month old Dalmatian puppy, it’s expected that she may have trouble regulating her emotion, or not fully understand other dogs social cues. I’m not quite sure where she is to socialize with other dogs and learn these behaviors outside of daycare.I have no issue with whatever policies dogtopia may have, but they knew she was a puppy and a Dalmatian when they agreed to have her. So her markings aren’t something new, her high energy should have been expected, and we had nothing but great report cards until she was “expelled.” If she had bit another dog or there was an incident, I would totally understand, but it feels as though she’s being kicked out for things they should’ve known wouldn’t work for them from the beginning, or they’re making some kind of knee jerk reaction for not being familiar with a high energy breed.

My boy Olaf H was asked not to return to BRAND X doggie daycare due to guarding a girlfriend. Your staff have shown him loving guidance from the first meeting. You see him as I do. A sometimes scaredy-dog who blossoms with encouragement. Thanks for all you do for our family! XOXO and slobbery snugs. Yours, Ole

My husband & I love the team at Dogtopia! All team members are professional, friendly and knowledgeable. We’ve been sending our rescue pup for many years and know he’s being well taken care of. The team members have become like family and even take time to get to know us. The cameras are a plus and give us peace of mind.

Not only do WE love everyone at Dogtopia, more importantly, our boy Roy loves everyone! We feel so fortunate that he gets to spend a few days a week with all of the amazing staff at Dogtopia West. I would highly recommend you to anyone needing a compassionate, supportive, loving place to send your furry family for some play time.

Not worthy of the Dogtopia name. We were long time customers of a different Dogtopia branch before we moved. We relied on that Dogtopia to care for our dogs like family and expected a place with the Dogtopia name to offer a similar level of service. The owner of this Dogtopia set up a time for a meet and greet (I have the emails to prove it) but forgot to add us to their list, then sent us home after we drove 30 minutes with no apology. Not even "let's set up a new time and we'll waive the cost," or "we can offer you a free day of day care." Instead she claimed that I had failed to set up a time and I had to pull out my phone to show her the email chain. She responded to our frustration by telling us we were banned from their services. Take your dogs anywhere else. I can only imagine what a hassle it would have been if we tried to actually board our dogs for vacation only to show up the morning of and find out they forgot to add us to their list. Luckily we have closer and more reliable options but I had nostalgia for our old Dogtopia. So disappointed with this one.(EDITED TO ADD: The owner had time to respond to my review on Google within less than an hour to blame me for the misunderstanding but did not have time to fit my dogs into the schedule. That confirms that they were not, in fact, too busy to handle my dogs.)

Rio loves his days at Dogtopia. He literally jumps for joy when we leave the house each morning. The staff are so positive and always have smiles on their faces. It is a great feeling knowing he is in such good and caring hands and is living his best life at Dogtopia!

Negative Stars, had to make it 2 so the review would post, because the owner has been flagging bad reviews as false, confusing the Google security AI.The interviews for new employees is putting them in the "play rooms" without any training for 2 hours to clean up feces for free. This is a completely unprofessional way to vet potential candidates to staff this expensive daycare. They asked applicants zero questions about experience with dogs before putting them in a room with about 30 dogs, with a pouch that has poo bags and what is essentially dog mace spray "in case the dogs get out of hand".I would never send my dog here. The cages are all rusty and dirty. I say cages, because they aren't nice enough to be crates anymore. One dog was chewing on a piece of rusted metal that had broken off the cage during an aggressive play scuffle.Older, quiet and shy dogs had no safe space in a room with aggressive play and endless noise. I recall one smaller, older grey dog shaking and hiding next to me the entire time. Not the staff that already worked there, me, someone this dog had never met before, to feel safer. That's very telling of the way the owner runs their business, since no one else seemed to care about this behavior. There's no toys or outdoor space for small dogs. They force them to go to the bathroom in the play room instead of outside, so well trained dogs have to go through the anxiety of breaking the rules they learned at home, and dogs in training experience inconsistencies. They mopped with dirty cleaning solutions and an old mop head. It is a breeding ground for bacteria and potential infections. The smell was horrendous.- I applied so I could test their facilities and policies from the inside, and am very glad I did. The ownership is clearly ok with their daycare being unsafe and unsanitary.- Reporting negative reviews and making your staff leave positive ones doesn't change the condition of your facilities.

Above & Beyond Guest Service! We have been brining our two dogs to Dogtopia in Middleton for about 3 years, and the service has always been great. We recently had an amazing experience with Shauna that I felt compelled to share online. A week ago our two dogs ran away from our home. Their Dogtopia dog tags were noticed by some neighbors and they called Shauna, the General Manager at Dogtopia, and she knew our dogs by description. She then drove to the neighbors house (about 15 minutes away) and retrieved both dogs, took them back to Dogtopia, since I was in meetings and could not pick up my phone. When I eventually got the voicemails from Shauna that she had both dogs safe, at Dogtopia, I was floored. We are so impressed that she would go to such lengths in the middle of her busy day. Above and beyond service yet again, and it shows how much they care about our boys and that feels really good! Thanks Shauna!

Friendly, knowledgeable staff know me and my dog. Rosie comes home happy and tired after a day at Dogtopia! Dog socialization is so important and this has been wonderful for all those cold days when the dog park is not an option.

I love working with Dogtopia and all of their team members. They are very good about scheduling daycare and spa days for our dog. Our dog Bruno loves his play days in the toybox room. He has made many puppy friends. I always get a report on how he did during his day. They create a fun and loving atmosphere for our dog. I would highly recommend Dogtopia!

Everyone is so friendly and knowledgeable. My Princess loves going to daycare at Dogtopia. If I ever have any questions about my dog or her behaviors the staff has always been quick to educate me about the situations. I truly trust Dogtopia with my dog.

Staff here love dogs, I don't think iv ever looked at the camera and not see them being paid attention to through out the day. If any thing happens they reach out promptly and take care of your dogs. Prices arnt to terrible but from my experience worth the money.

We feel confident leaving our pup at Dogtopia! The staff is friendly, the facility is always clean, and my dog always comes home tired and happy. We have used their services for day care as well as overnight boarding. They took wonderful care of our dog while we were out of the country for 2.5 weeks - even sending email updates so I would feel less nervous!

My new rescue pup (2 yr old female) was turned over to me by foster family who told me she had dog aggression problems. After living with me for 2 months I felt she was missing dog social skills but had promise. I made an appointment with Dogtopia for a meet and greet. I spent over an hour there with Sam, enrollment coordinator. She listened to my recap of all my dog's behaviors and how I felt she was improving. Ultimately my girl did not pass muster but she did successfully meet 5 new dogs and showed some ability to properly socialize. That is GREAT news to me.I'll bring her back in 3 months to be re-evaluated and if she passes muster, I'll gladly sign her up for some doggie playtime and possibly overnight boarding.I cannot say enough about the professional and courteous service I received from the moment I called on the phone to set up my meet and greet. All the parts and pieces worked promptly and reliably so I felt very comfortable going to the appointment less than 24 hrs after my initial intake call. that is magical in and of itself. But then the evaluation time was even better. No need to say more. A 5 star experience for me and my dog.

Dogtopia has been my savior!! My energetic puppy needed a place to run and have FUN! I found a few doggy day cares in the area, none as clean, welcoming, and none that have such amazing hours! I have a crazy work schedule and Dogtopia is so accommodating. My puppy is exhausted at the end of his day there! He is also happy and so excited when I drop him off! Everyone there knows him by name and treats him with love and care. They have cameras I use to watch non stop, now months later I am so comfortable with his home away from home I don't even check in unless I miss his sweet face. I with confidence give Dogtopia 5 stars!

I would like to start this review by saying I know a lot of dogs that do really well at Dogtopia and are very happy there. I think most dogs that just want to play all day will do just fine here. My dog didn't. And unfortunately, the staff did not feel like they had any responsibility to make him feel better.I don't like to put down companies, but I do feel I need to say something about our experience at Dogtopia. My dog is a lab terrier mix and is about 35 pounds. As such he's not quite a "big dog" or a "small dog" - When he went to Dogtopia he was about 8 months old and sort of going through a fear stage. However, I felt a genuine lack of concern or responsibility from the staff at Dogtopia and it left my dog traumatized for quite some time. The pro of this situation is that Dogtopia has cameras, so I could see what was happening. My dog was asking to be crated and then cowering in a crate all day and at the end of the day the staff would say "Oh he had so much fun!". Nope. He'd whimper and hated getting dropped off, so we started watching the videos during the day. Instead of offering solutions or trying to make him feel better, the staff insisted he was just going through a phase. Dogtopia also does not allow return any funds spent on unused boarding, so we wasted a lot of money here, as my dog will never go back. Now he goes to another daycare and he pulls me in through the door bee-lining for the play room. He comes home happy and tired, rather than shaking and scared. He's much happier! Less dogs, more one on one time, and mid-day walks!! I hope other dogs have better experiences at Dogtopia, but if your dog is sensitive, don't take them here.

Dirty, smelly, and rusty. Certainly not a place I would ever take my dog no matter the size. The cleaning routine is a joke. They clean the floor after every dog uses the bathroom but how often is that solution actually changed? Must not be often or I would still have my nose hairs (they were burned off by the awful stench of amonia).Edit to add: typical of this company to try to delete my review. You have no idea who I am or if I have or have not been in your facility.

We love Dogtopia for our dog. We've been coming to Dogtopia for a little over a year now. We take our dog once a week and it gives him the exercise he needs and also the interaction with other dogs and people. I love that they have three separate rooms depending on the age and energy level of the dog. Our dog can also get his nails trimmed or a bath during the day which is a huge time saver! Plus, the staff are great and always friendly.
