I highly recommend stopping by the local grocery store, Snow’s Family Market, for pastries. Their bakery has all sorts of fresh treats, and we were very impressed by the almond bear claw and the massive cinnamon roll! The market will also have everything else you need–we were able to get our firewood, fire starters, and the few groceries we forgot.

Disappointed this afternoon as I showed up to shop at 4 pm on a Sunday and they were closed.......a little pricey but glad they service Mercer.....Bakery is awesome!

Well kept secret up north!! I can't say enough about the variety of stuff in this store!! Produce,fresh bakery, Deli, t-shirts and sweatshirts. Gigantic craft beer selection. Humongous liquor section and a great hardware selection along with the normal variety of groceries. You name it, they probably have it. Gas and car wash too. Love this store 😍 ❤!!

Clean store with the friendliest Wisconsinites you’ll find. No difficulties navigating the aisles and finding all the items we needed, really impressive variety available. Also tons and tons of beer. That’s important.Wish they were open later but will happily return regardless!

Great selection of every day needs, and very friendly staff. Conveniently located in town and the car wash next door is a great value! Beer, wine and liquor selection is huge with lots of unique microbrews.

My home is in Springstead. Although I have to travel 15 miles I am grateful to have such a well stocked grocery store nearby. This is a family run operation and the staff are extremely friendly and helpful. They accommodated me with birthday cakes, produce needs. They have a well stocked liquor area. I highly recommend them.

Good sundry items, lots of campfire accessories, including mystery fire packets that the kids' loved, solid produce and meat selections, and most impressively, the beer section is fully loaded with lots of craft and macro beer. It was fun to create your own six pack as a way to dabble in the many local brews. Gas station and car wash attached to help clean up after the trip was all said and done. Highly recommend for basics and unique beer finds.

Love everything about Snow's. Their food is great and has everything you possibly need. Liquor selection is incredible, their buyer must know what he/she is doing. But strangely one of my favorite parts of the store is their tshirts & sweatshirts. All around well run store, thanks for being there for us!

Great little store. Actually it's not that small. Great selection and we were in and out both trips in about 20 mins. Also has a gas station attached so it's all in one. Meat looked great and fresh and prices were very fair. Thanks for helping our camping trip be a success on the flowege.

This place has everything! From the gas station out front to the bakery and produce in the back. The beer selection is pretty amazing. They even have make your own 6 pack. We were happy to see all staff wearing masks during covid19. A friendly store in northern Wisconsin.

This is an AWESOME 😁...NORTH WOODS STORE! And the craft brew beer section is one of the best in the area. Liquor, food both fresh and frozen to include just about anything else you need is available and the working staff is very polite and helpful. You have to go to Snows if you're in the Mercer area... you won't be disappointed 😉😎

Nice small town grocery store. Great liquor selection. They have more stuff than most city grocery stores because they are the only one for miles. Prices a little higher, but fair. Have to drive thirty miles to get some of what they have. I don't mind paying a dollar more for some things to save an hour of driving.

A small but well stocked grocery store. The main surprise was the excellent selection of local and non local craft beer. This stores selection of craft beer would rival any selection I have seen in much larger towns. It was a pleasant discovery and made for some fun beer tasting nights out on Spider Lake.

It's kind of like an oversized liquor store, great for the long Winters. I found their prices too high bordering on gouging. Driving to Minocqua or Ironwood is well worth the time and gas. In my opinion they could use less space for alcohol and expand their produce section.

This is definitely the grocery store to visit in the area. We were staying in Manitowish Waters and, if we visit the area again, would make the drive to Snow's. Great selection of food, including the produce. The alcohol section rivals my home grocery store in Milwaukee and even matches Ray's Wine & Spirits in Milwaukee.
