The produce here is terrible. The meat counter has a good selection, but there is never an employee back there when I go. I have accidentally purchased expired/moldy meat/cheese here on two separate occasions. I'm unclear on how the store has such good reviews, because it's literally a running joke around town. I've actually had other customers joke with me about it while in line at this store (before I stopped going here completely).

One of the few businesses to hire disabled persons in town. The staff are friendly and the atmosphere is very welcoming. I find that for local groceries this is one of the best locations. I short a star from perfection due to their staffing being a bit underpaid and the prices being hardly worth even with coupons sometimes.

I ordered a custom cake with whipped cream and she put buttercream instead. I gave the cake designer photos of what we’d like it to look like. I asked for whipped cream frosting with marble cake, the cake designer said they only have white whipped cream frosting. With the colors we wanted, she would have to use a spray color because when she uses dye on the whipped cream she said doesn’t turn out good. I said the spray was fine. She also said with the small details on the cake she would have to use buttercream, since the design only had small details I was fine with it. I come to pick it up and she says the sprayed frosting didn’t look right so she switched it all to buttercream with a small layer of whipped cream frosting underneath (that does nothing). If I would have known this I would have cancelled the entire cake. We didn’t want buttercream, the cake was way too sugary. On top of that the cake was uneven, one side was higher than the other and it made it look weird. Not coming here for cakes again, they did not honor my request!

The food is 👍 however the staff need to know everyone isn't White. I started to leave my cart in "mid isle".If, you can't handle stupid people, stay away. If you want to be treated as a human, stay away from this store..

I had a wonderful experience in the meat department. I was in need of a specific tenderloin cut for a very special meal. Levi K. took the time to show and explain the options I had. Then, he ensured that I received a perfectly cut and trimmed tenderloin for my Beef Wellington. The end result was incredible. This meal wouldn't have been near as good without his help.

Easily one of the best grocery stores in the area, huge size, great selection filled with high quality groceries, and the employees are friendly. However, prices here are definitely higher than Walmart or Aldi.

Thank you for being reasonably truck friendly. It took me two years to find strawberry Zevia, and you guys have it. I will happily be back on my 30 minute breaks. Keep stocking the strawberry Zevia!Clean, bright, attractive store with good prices.

There gas pumps are a ripoff I tried to get gas I used my debit card it kept declining my debit card but later on got a notification from bank I got charged for 175 dollars and didn’t any gas so I left call the store and they said call your bank I got ripped off on phone they were very helpful

Has plenty of generic options, prices are higher than Walmart BUT all the shelves are stocked and with the deli, bakery, fresh meat deli and booze and customer loyalty program all in one, can't beat it. They had live lobsters for new years and have lots of seasonal items as well. They also have a nice selection gifts shampoo conditioner, literally a one stop shop

Prices are higher on everything but selection is nice. Their branded deli is not very good impressed. Also shipping things cost more at this location than at the local post office for some reason, maybe employees need better training on that because it cost almost double to mail the same package there than at the post office.

We used the deli for our wedding late night snacks and cheese bar. They did a great job, quality food and super friendly staff.We have also used the deli in the past for lots of events and get togethers - the food is always delicious!

Cashiers aren’t trained and are definitely not personable. Needed to make a return and a sarcastic cashier made the remark “go to the customer service counter like any other store to make a return don’t come to the front checkouts”. I went to the customer service and I asked “and if no one is here?” To which she said “ring the bell or call out”. The cashier that processed my return was alright and not as rude but two customers behind me in line walked out due to the amount of time it took to process my return.

I bought a few plants from the garden center. I am currently on a knee scooter due to ankle surgery. The employee that helped me went above and beyond her “normal” work and carried my plants to my car for me.

Im so disappointed. I ordered a cake for a retirement and they got the date wrong so the cake wasn't ready. Things happen and it's fine but the store manager made no effort to help me. She didn't offer a discount when I purchased a premade cake and cupcakes to make up for the cake that wasn't ready. Which ended up being more expensive than the cake I ordered. I likely won't order from here again. Or at least call the day before to confirm. I thought I was safe since I received a confirmation text. Oh well. Live and learn.

It's a wonderful grocery store. The selection is really impressive, with a wide range of options in many categories. The choices of wines, meats, and cheeses are outstanding. Huge selection of frozen foods as well (probably because we're a college town). The staff are helpful and very friendly. Plenty of parking. They offer curbside pickup, if you need that. I wish I could give them six stars.

What I like best is that the quality of the experience is spot on. From the smooth parking lot, carts and floors, to the quiet atmosphere and quality of the products. It's more expensive than Walmart, but to me, it's worth it for all of the reasons mentioned above.

Very clean and organized store with great shopping. Friendly staff ready to help with any questions. Meat quality is very good and employees are very knowledgeable on types of products they carry. Dairy & frozen department is exceptional and always stocked well and kept very clean. There is a large assortment in the Deli and it is kept very fresh. Love to shop Market place foods!!

Manager at thr meat counter was vary helpful. They have a meal in a pack that's fresh not frozen. Porkchops with the veggys and so meany for more u can choose from. Always fresh meat.Good deals for what u buy. It's better that any store around menomonie.

I like Marketplace. A lot of the prices might be slightly higher, but not outrageously higher. They also carry some items that you won't likely find at the average grocery store. I mainly enjoy the meat dept... I think most items are more fresh, & of better quality, which I prefer.Gotta be careful though, I can never seem to get out of there for under $100. I go in for one item, always leave with a bunch more.I'm also a fan of their liquor department. Usually have what I want & different things to try. I highly recommend their store brand Caribbean rum.

Great sales and the healthy & organic food selection has been improving.They also have a great liquor store.The butcher selection is excellent. I would say the only disappointing thing is that they used to make the best focaccia bread around, I bought it there for years but they no longer make it.
