I called and asked to order a cake. I was told “we don’t take phone orders” and was hung up on. This was at 9:30 AM, not a peak time.It’s fine to not take a cake order by phone, but hanging up on a customer is not OK. They won’t get my business again.

Always a disappointment here to be honest. It literally takes these people 20 minutes to put together a chicken strip basket. Every time I try to go to the drive though, some random lady pulls in front of me and gets there first. EVERY TIME. And they take 15 minutes to get their simple blizzard. And the owner will respond with an automated message on Google reviews so don't even think that they are trying to improve, because they are not. Prices are outrageous anyway. Probably will never return which is a shame because Dairy Queen is respectable in my eyes.

Worst experience. They told the kids to drive forward. They forgot about them and they ended up having melted ice cream and shorted product and wrong product. They hung up when we called for them to make it right

Ordered 2 chocolate malts tonight and they were horrible , huge chunks of chocolate hard chocolate, called to talk to them about the manager answered and said the kids know what chocolate to use , rudely said well I’m sorry never have I been more disappointed, no refund just the kids know what there doing waste of money , and rude!

Called about ice cream cake orders. They don't take them, just what's in their display case. Lobby's been closed for days because of staffing issues. Asked how can I see what they have available; can I be let in the lobby to see? Gent on phone said go through the drive-thru. Kinda rude sounding, and not very helpful. How do I see what's in your cooler in the lobby by going through the drive-thru....

Normally very satisfied but today l was terribly disappointed!! There was only 3 Valentine ice cream cakes which were the miniture size. I called before driving 15 minutes and I was told they had the large size Blizzard Valentine's cakes also. I had to buy a birthday cake and have that decorated. It's Valentine's day in two days they should be prepared for that really bummed 😓

I stop for lunch once a week. I usually get ice cream of some kind at another time during the week. Never had bad food at anytime in all the years i've stopped in. Friendly staff that always do their best. If they are extremely busy you might be in a line for an extra minute. The hot breast meat chicken sandwich meal is the greatest. Love it all though.

We went through the drive thru.Service was great! We ordered a banana split blizzard and a banana split. There were made to perfection. Shared with the grandchildren and they also loved them.

Staff could be more alert and courteous to their customers. The interior needs a MAJOR update. Server can be pretty slow at times. They need to get better with time management. Food is still good, but this particular Dairy Queen needs to step up their game.

I had to wait longer than usual to place my order and there were only 3 customers in the store. I finally ordered the deluxe cheeseburger $5 Buck Lunch. However, the cashier put it in as a double cheeseburger so I was charged for the $6 Buck Lunch. I did end up getting the double, but that is not the point. They messed up my order and overcharged me. Then the service was really slow. One nice thing was that they offered me the sundae before or after my meal. Also the root beer tasted too carbonated. I will return to this location because it is the only DQ in the area but it really needs some work. Probably new management or ownership.

This has the best cheese curds in town, no doubt. Also they have a wide selection of ice cream flavors. However the chili dog is okay.

I ordered Chicken strip basket and cheese curds and I should have gotten at least one sauce after I got my order I asked for some BBQ and the lady said no I would have to pay extra for it, when clearly I get one sauce with my order very disappointed. She also was very disrespectful and it lowers your customer service a lot definitely not going back... Also didn't get toast and that is the best part of the meal.

They need to hire more workers. There's ALWAYS a long wait for the drive thru and it seems like every time I try to go inside the lobby is closed. Very frustrating.

Hot fudge sundaes are excellant. Girlfriend and I went through the drive thru and the customer in front of us paid our bill. Very kind gesture. A wonderful experience.

I spent the last summer working a job in a building across the street from this Dairy Queen. This job gave me 30-minute lunches. Not once did I think to myself, "I could quickly get some Dairy Queen." The reason behind this is because you can't. You are looking at about 15 minutes for your meal to even get done.I am probably a bit more harsh after waiting 20 minutes in their drive-thru (7 minutes in front of the menu) without having anyone ask for my order. I don't blame the employees as this one has always been slow my 4 years going to Stout, but their management is either happy running at this pace or is doing nothing to stop an understaffed building.

This place has decent food. Not good, not bad, decent. The service is very slow and unfriendly. Sometimes they forget to give you all of the items that you ordered. It sucks when you have to wait 15 minutes for "fast food" and then you have to remind them of another item in your order that they forgot. I have been here multiple times and the experience is always the same. There are much better places to eat on Menomonie. This is the worst dairy queen I've ever been to and the worst fast food place in Menomonie by far. The only reason I give it one star is for the ice cream. Otherwise, I would give this place zero stars.

So, DQ food is spectacular.. this location, idk..its very highly coveted and def has a market here, but...the lines that extend into the main street are getting dangerous. There's a turn lane at the intersection and people waiting at the drive thru block the main strip so therefore if someone is using the turn lane, traffic is blocked. This is a main drag..so, not cool.

I know "it's not fast food, it's fan food," but come on! Culvers makes my food faster than y'all, and when my boyfriend and I go to Culvers, we get more food. The waste of time and gas just isn't worth it when I'm wasting $25+ on two sandwich meals. Good thing you have delicious ice cream treats to save your hide. The blizzards are the only thing worthy of getting from here.

When you order a blizzard, you want the toppings all the way through. Tired of paying for a blizzard and half way through it’s just vanilla ice cream. If that’s what I wanted I would have ordered a cup of vanilla ice cream.

We order three blizzards. My seven year received her blizzard and found a black hair embedded in hers (We all have blonde hair). Went back around and I brought my seven year old in with me. When I first walked in, I got the look of oh gosh she is coming into complain because I brought the blizzard in with me. I didn't receive hi how can I help you or anything. So finally walked up to the counter explained what happened. All I got oh okay I can make you another one. Not one time did I receive and apology. Very disappointed and disgusted!

Waited in drive up to order a cone as a sup rise trest for my son who is doing a great job recovering from surgery. Get to the speaker and the gal says, "We're closed now."What time do you close? "9:30", she says.Well is only 9:28. "I won't be done making this order till after 9:30." Seriously? "Well maybe you shouldn't wait till the last minute to show up." I've been sitting behind the guy in front of me waiting to order.She hands the car in front of me a cone. With a smile.It's only 9:29 now I say. "Too bad, we're still closed" You're seriously not going to serve me? "It's not my fault you didn't come inside before 9:30"This is not the first time this location ha's closed just after I've pulled up, but it will be the last. The employees have been rude on all our visits but one and I'm sure that's Brevard the mgr was right there.
