I called Brakken Veterinary Clinic this morning because of an unexpected problem my dog had. They got us in as an extra on their schedule right away. Dr. Brakken was very thorough in her exam, made every extra effort, and helped us tremendously. She was in the middle of a very busy day, but she still found the time to explain things to me fully, answer all of my questions, and get therapy started immediately.

Probably one of the best veterinarians within the state. Dr Brakken is very busy, but she took the time to get an eye infection looked at early morning. She does a great job explaining the issues and ways to look out for it in the future. In addition the staff there is most excellent it makes you feel seen and cared for.

Friendly staff. The staff is very knowledgeable and listens to your concerns. They worked well with my dog because she is a little timid at first. In an emergency situation, they worked fast to get my dog in the very next morning. I've recommended this place in the past and will continue to do so!

Everyone at Brakken is amazing. They clearly love their jobs and every patient that comes in. My Bulldogge has so much excitement every time we go in. Even for his neutering (he had no clue lol).My elderly lab mix (Snake) loved going there for his check ups. They also helped our family through a very tough time when he had to say goodbye to Snake for the last time. The knowledge, sympathy, and empathy that is given is again, amazing. Brakken Veterinary Clinic is the forever clinic for my pet four legged children.

My 7 month old basset hound had a burr in his eyelid and was in tremendous pain. He could not open his eyes and they were blood shot. Called in the morning and had treatment in an hour. Extremely happy with the service. I take all 3 basset hounds to Dr. Brackken. Took Claude for his annual exam and all went well. Flash is on schedule for tomorrow. Very happy with service. Honest opinion about the best treatment for my boys.

Dr Jane Brakken seemed very knowledgeable in her field, she took time to research at test for valley fever because we've moved from AZ recently. I appreciate that she felt it wasn't necessary which saved me money. My charges were a lot lower than I feared they would be. My pup is feeling better and I feel I have a better understanding of what is causing her pain because the doctor took time to explain what might be going on with my pup. The staff was very nice, they were able to squeeze the appointment in the same day and didn't charge an urgent care fee. We live in Eau Claire but I will drive to Menomonee the next time Ruby needs care.

I'm a newer customer and my first impressions were pretty good at first about this place. The Vets were very friendly and informative!However...when I went in for my second appointment, one of the receptionists was not so welcoming/friendly. 🙃I guess not all staff will be nice, but I did not enjoy my second visit so much. Still, I appreciate the help from the Vets!

Dr. Brakken is great and her staff is excellent. We've been working with for ~15 years. She helped us when we needled help, comforted us when we needed comfort, and listened to our thoughts and theories and ecoched or disproved them.

Dr Brakken and her team truly care about every animal that comes thru their door. She's very thorough when checking over your pet and tells you the price of services as your pet needs them. She's an amazing lady with an amazing team of assistants. Brakken Vet is the only vet I will take my animals to see unless it's an emergency.

Always a great experience at Brakken Vet Clinic. Dr. B is a true animal lover and you can see it in her work. The staff is like family and they are amazing with Ziggy. I always get blood results and x-ray results same day which helps put my mind at ease.

Adopted a cat from the Dunn county humane society that had existing medical conditions we were not aware of prior to adoption, so we had to come here to be covered by the humane society. Overall surgery went well, which is why this isn't a one star review. But medications we were given following surgery were not appropriate for our cat's condition and they were even expired. We went to a different vet that treated the situation with the rigor it needed and our cat got better following those appointments. In addition, staff were not friendly about necessary follow up appointments.I would like to point out that Dr. Brakken assigns ages to the animals at the humane society and she was quite generous about the age of the cat we adopted. A second opinion of a vet we trust revealed this cat was 2-4 years older than what we were told. We loved her anyways, but she ended up passing away from bladder cancer. I wish we were made aware of her correct age and were actually given proper treatment initially. Would not recommend bringing pets here.

I would like to thank Dr. Brakken. She is amazing at diagnosis and cares greatly for the pets/friends that come here. She took good care of my Nova dog (dachshund) unfortunately my dog had a progressive rapid fatal disease after an injury and did not make it. When I get a new dog (it will be a while) I will definitely come here again.

My dog was hit by a vehicle in late evening. Dr. Brakken came in after hours to take care of him. She has checked on him throughout the day and been beyond helpful.

Dr. Brakken always goes out of her way to fit your pet in whenever they need to be seen, runs specific tests to diagnose your pets condition, and cares for each pet seen like they were her own. Would highly recommend her Veterinary Clinic !!

So we took our cat to get fixed. They said over the phone that they charge $75. I thought it was too good to be true. Turns out I was right. They ended up charging us $250. This price included a second surgery to witch would've solved the need for the first. They also said that this second surgery was "required". Due to much research it turns out it is recommended. I've talk to many other people and they have the same thing to say about this place. I will say this tho...... they have made a Hoof'n Paw customer outta ne. Never agian.

Lady on the phone was the rudest lady I’ve ever talked to. Decided to say never mind and went to country doctors :) they’re amazing. I would not recommend based on customer service.

On two occasions I received some of the worst customer service from this office that I have every experienced. When I contacted the owner and complained about it, the doctor said that she stands behind her staff. I was a customer for 12 years, will no longer be recommending this veterinarian to friends.
