Love love love the yard art here! So many pieces, so little time! My personal fav are the Solar powered pieces that have cute light up designs on them. I'm more of a tattoos and all black girl, and there were several killer pieces that weren't your basic, butterflies and globes, garden inspo.Owner was super cool and friendly too! Shop with confidence! (Even if you can't afford much, it's nice to come out on a warm day and peruse all the different designs)

Seems family run and understaffed . I suspect that's on purpose. If you want to look at a mower, the gal up front has to call out back to get someone from the shop area to come upfront. Unless you know just what you want, don't expect to get a lot of help. I bought one elsewhere.

3% surcharge to shop with a card.. I have not been to the store since b4 covid. I called for a price on a specific food. I did talk to them 4 times b4 I eventually picked it up, mentioning that price ea time to make sure. They put the bag outside for me with my charge card slip attached to it. I couldn't figure out why the price was higher. So I called and I've been informed that there is now a 3% surcharge added to all charge card orders. Not once was that mentioned to me!. And yet Mark has the nerve to get a little bit nasty to me about it. Instead of being appreciative or treat me like a valued customer, that i came back there to shop!! I did not go in the store so I did not see this posting. I was NOT made aware of it when I gave my phone charge card number over the phone.. I would think most people pay with a card nowadays! I do not carry cash esp in todays society! I'm very sad that they feel they need to add this surcharge on and penalize us for shopping with a card. You can"t tell me it was & has not been already built into their prices! I know it covers their costs but that's part of being a business. NOwhere else charges the surcharge as a exta charge. He also stopped the frequent buyer program. So I drove the distance wanting to give them the sale, but now with all of this being said, it doesn't make sense for me to go shop there anymore and that makes me sad. My gas, money, being a valued customer, & my time are also very important to me and other businesses.

HUGE selection of outdoor decorations. Some were on the pricey side, but they look well-made and some are on sale. They've held up well outside in the storms over the last few weeks. Great variety and helpful staff.

Purchased a used trailer but while I was attempting to hook it up, realized the jack was bent and wasn't functioning properly. Although the owner was able to get it to work, I told him had I known it was like that, I wouldn't have wanted it. He became angry and condescending. Couldn't believe how unprofessional and frankly rude he was. I have purchased a few smaller items there in the past, but this was my first major purchase. I will never go back there and certainly wouldn't recommend them to anyone. There is a right way and wrong way to handle a customer and this was handled very poorly.

Bought several items from this store from enclosed trailers to utility trailers to other equipment never again. Utility trailer i bought is already rusting and boards aren't even strait must of been drunk whoever put it together. Then I bought heavy duty chainsaw and needed a new bar for it. Called service to get the run around and to be told that they don't know where they can even get a bar from for it and not willing to take care of there customers. Lost my business!

Well, we had our mower pickup to be fixed,oil & filter changed, sharpening and checking it all over, they must have the slowest parts delivery! Was in before Easter and delivered May 6th. Kept calling see when done, always we need to get a part, will call next week to let you know. We been a client for a long time, you need to get this matter done better. It doesn't take this long to get parts and I get it if not enough employees to work on it. We bought the mower from Waltschmidts and other items too cause it's a area family business...not sure we will anymore.

Great selection. I've purchased 2 tractors and other various items from these folks but I have to say these last couple of times, I was a bit put off by the younger guys (I'm guessing owners sons) who talk to down to you as if you don't know anything. Who cares what I know, treat me nicely and I'll come back, pretend I know something, who cares just be nice. I'll admit, my last tractor and snow machine was purchased from a different dealer because of this, what a shame as I prefer to shop local.

I had a lawnmower tuned up and serviced there last year because gasoline was leaking from the primer assembly. When I got the mover back there was still fuel on the mower deck and the carburetor was leaking. I returned the mower and they eventually made things right, but I won't be doing business there again. In addition, their pickup and delivery as well as service costs are way too high. The same could be said for their lawn and garden equipment prices.

I want to thank the parts and repair department for not looking at or diagnosing my Simplicity tractor over the course of 2 plus weeks. I appreciate having to pay for you to pick it up and deliver it back to me still needing repair. Keep up the great customer service.

We bought a Husqvarna mower from them. They charged us over 200 dollars to do a commercial set up for it and after 5 hours the tire fell off. We called them and asked what they could do about it and they said nothing, and that it was our fault for not checking the nuts. Then why make us pay for the set up? If we would have known we had to go over everything again, we wouldn't have paid for the set up. I will never go back there again.They are very rude and don't stand behind the products they sell at all. Take my advice and buy your equipment from somewhere else because if anything goes wrong with it, your on your own.

I bought brand new Simplicity 42 inch zero turn mower from them 3 weeks ago. Decided that a mulch kit may be good for my yard as I have always had a mulch kit. Nathan sold it to me and they installed it on my mower. It did not work. Left uncut grass two inches wide between the blades. Grass looked horrible. Called back and Curt the owner told me the mulch kits are horrible and they don't recommend them. I asked why then did you sell it to me or why didn't your guys tell me that. He said his guys just take orders. Went to return it and was told no by Nathan and Curt. They won't take it back even if it doesn't work. They even refused to come and see why it won't work. Seriously, do not go there. Horrible customer service. Wish I could rate them zero stars and wish I bought my lawn mower from a place with more integrity.

Very dissatisfied with the whole organization ... Brought a lawn mower in for service & was told it would take 1 week, it took over 2 weeks, after numerous calls and promises (1st disappointment). They worked on the drive system (Belts & Pulleys). Picked up Mower used it for 15 minutes and the Clutch and pulley came off damaging the clutch. I of course took the mower back to fix the damage (big mistake). The service department said yup the clutch was damaged, needs to be replaced and I would have to pay for it. I said are you kidding me! Talked to upper management and they told me things happen and it’s most likely a coincidence and they let the service department handle it. They obviously do not stand behind any of their work. There are a lot of choices out there and I’ll NEVER be back! YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!!

You can go to almost any other market and find things cheaper!Not to mention the rude employees they have there. I came in around 2 weeks ago looking for a new zturn lawn mower and i was rudely greeted by some guy named chris. He had an extremely unwelcoming vulgar tone with me. From the moment i step into that warehouse in the back, he had an rude vibe. Comes to find out he is the manager there! I feel bad for the employees he manages. TAKING MY SERVICE ELSEWHERE!

How to earn a one star review and forever lose business of a potential customer who happens to own a lawn and landscape business.step 1 - answer the phone with the attitude and demeanor of a 16 year old fast food employee who is about to quit his job anyways.step 2 - when customer asks about warranty work for a brand they are a dealer for tell customer you don't do warranty work on other dealers mowers.step 3 - when customer is confused about how that is possibly policy when that it not standard for dealers of that brand tell give them an excuse you booked out 4 weeks either way.Final step - after all this offer to do the WARRANTY work only if the customer pays for it and laugh at them over the phone.This place's customer service is the only thing that's laughable.

I've been going there for years. Top quality equipment. Very knowledgeable people. Prices are quite competitive. Plus, even if I do save a buck by going to the big box store, I'm on my own when I need help. Waldschmidts provides excellent service. That can be huge when ur dealing with power equipment, two stroke engines, etc. I've purchases two chainsaws from them, a combi motor with 3 attachments, and a trailer (over a period of several years). Not to mention spare chains, sharpening service, spark plugs, and so on. They know their stuff.

I have spent enough money here to put someone through college and will continue to. Eveyone from the sales department to the parts and service are kind and ready to help. You aren't going to a local home depot, and yes things might cost more, but you get top notch knowledge of whay you are buying. From 2 trailers, to a 35,000$ tractor they made sure i was happy and eveytuing works. O would highly recommend them to anyone!

I was in the market for a new lawn cutting machine, I spent some time doing homework to find exactly what I wanted. I called and visited a number of lawn and garden shops within 30 miles of North Prairie, WI. My experience with Town & Country Mart was extremely satisfying. I very happy with the time that Nathaniel Waldschmidt spent with me on the telephone discussing what it was that I wanted in a lawnmower and what is available. We set a time to meet and Nathaniel went over with me the different mowers and their capabilities. I settled on the Scag Tiger Cat. I have had this machine for about six weeks now and one of the chores that I was not looking forward to such as disposing of leaves no longer exists for me. The Hurricane deck mulching attachment is a life saver, leaf build up under trees up to about six inches were not a problem, one pass in one direction and a second pass at 90 degrees to the first and the leaves were chopped fine enough to filter into the grass and will now be fortifying the soil. This mower also has cut about one hour off of my mowing time on my four acre lot and has eliminated the need for me to do leaf pick up. I would recommend to anyone who would ask to visit Town & Country.Thank youRay Puls

"WARNING!" Do not order anything from their parts dept, "Nick" the counter clerk is very rude and needs to be terminated! This guy is really good at lying through his teeth about how long it will takes for them to get a part ordered.The first part I ordered I asked how long it would take? He said oh 2 days max and we will call you, I never got a call at all, so every 3 days I would call to see if it came in and every week for a month and a half I would stop by there with my receipt to no avail! Finally after a month and a half I stopped by when he wasn't working for some reason and this other guy that was working the parts counter that day said that it had been sitting there for over a month and didn't you get a call from us? I recently gave them another chance to redeem themselves because I run my business out of the Falls and their location is convenient "BIG MISTAKE!" He told me the same thing again '2 days and we will call you its been 6 days now with out a call. It's way too obvious this guy likes to play games with the customer of his choosing. I was actually very interested in spending over 10k for a new heavy duty riding lawn mower, chain saw, grass trimmer and leaf blower but not at Waldschmidt's Town and Country!

Went to get a flywheel key for a toro push mower. The mower has a 6.5 horse tecumseh engine and I went with the old key in hand. Guy looks at it and says, "I can't do anything without a model number". Also told me he wouldn't even look for the part without the model number. Never experienced customer service like this before and I will never go back. I left and went to Barton small engine sales and service. Amazingly they could get me the flywheel key without a model number by sizing it with the old one.

NO stars for T&C if I could. Very poor service. They require a large deposit before even quoting the service costs and then keep it when you decline their abnormally high repair quote. They did not repair my equipment at all and kept the deposit. NOBODY does that. ( except T&C) EDIT - to the owners response..I understand your comment- I too work in a service field. I have quoted thousands of repair jobs without ever taking a dollar from a customer. From one professional to another- Please update your documentation immediately and train your employees to explain, without confusion, that it is a NON-REFUNDABLE service evaluation fee.

Appalled at the owners behavior. I just moved to the area and I asked if he carried a certain dog food. He said no but could get it in for me. The first time he did it, it wasn't a problem. The second time I called to order a bag, he was short and rude and demanded he needed my credit card information first. I specifically asked if the money would be withdrawn right away. He told me no, but then that evening it was withdrawn. He never even bothered to tell me when it would come in or confirm what he was doing. I never got a receipt sent to me by email or anything either. Then I go in to ask what was going on and he continued to argue with me and say that he never said it wouldn't be charged. When I explained I didn't know that, he told me, "well I guess you're going to have to get it somewhere else." I most certainly will, Mark. So rude!

I would like to preface the review with "My experience was TERRIBLE!" If I could have given them zero stars I would have. I took two push mowers to Waldschmidt's back in the middle of November to get your typical yearly tune-up. I was informed that I would have to put a $45 deposit down up front for each mower, which was suppose to cover roughly half the cost of the repairs. I was totally fine with that. I pay the $90 and the less than customer friendly Service employee down in his little dungeon underground has me go back outside and tag my lawn mowers for him because he was too lazy to do it himself. I brush it off and let it go. I don't receive a call about the mowers until the first week in January letting me know the mowers are finally finished. I was beginning to think they were just going to store my lawn mowers for free for the winter.I arrange to go pick up the mowers on a Sunday at 3pm. The website says they're open until 4pm. I get there and the place looks dead. I walk into the main building and I tell the guy behind the counter that I was there to pick up a couple lawn mowers and with a very matter of fact condescending tone he says "that department closes at 2." I then say "your website says you guys are open til 4pm." He goes, "yeah they close at two" like I'm stupid for not knowing. No apology for the inconvenience or misleading information. Since they're closed Monday I come back Tuesday where the guy in the dungeon hands me a bill for $158.14. I ask if this is on top of the $90 I had already paid, trying to fish for an explanation. I get a very cold "yes," no explanation. He then proceeds to get my mowers and push them out to my car. He doesn't even consider asking or offering any help to lift two push mowers into the back of my SUV. Mind you I'm by myself. At this point I just want to get the hell out of there. The guy walks back into the building to get my receipt and when he comes back I'm in the middle of hoisting the 1st lawn mower into the back of the truck. I turn around and he hands me the paperwork and again without even a blip of a thought to ask me if I needed any help with the second mower he turns around and walks back into his dungeon. I'm like WOW! It's a good thing I'm still in my 30's and strong enough to lift a push mower by myself. My entire experience there was not only baffling, but beyond irritating. I will no go back there again and I will encourage everyone I know to find somewhere else to go.If you call in to the dungeon to get a quote for a tune-up on a push mower the guy will tell you it's $100 out the door, but then he quickly goes on to say that the cost can very so really we're looking at $105, $110 or even $115 so I'm not sure what $100 out the door even means. Guess what I paid per mower? $124.07, but it's $100 out the door.

Visited store as it was listed on Toro's website as an Authorized Toro Dealer. I have a straight shaft, gas trimmer that leaks at the gas tank. I was needing service/warranty/repair as the unit is only 15 mos. old.Nick in Service was rude and disrespectful to work with... Travelled further from my zip code justbto get trimmer fixed. Will not be back.

Waldschmidt's Town and Country Mart lists multiple Husqnarna walk behind mowers for sale with the caption, "call for actual price." This is a scam, which the owners of Town & Country Mart blame on the Husqvarna corporation saying that they WT&CM don't control the content of their own website. When you contact WT&CM about said price for Husqvarna walk behinds you are redirected toward other brands of mowers. It seems that Husqvarna stopped selling walk behind mowers this past spring yet multiple businesses, not just WT&CM, list the mowers as available. It would not surprise me to find out that the management of Waldschmidt's is untruthful in other aspects of their sales and advertising. I will not shop at this store because I believe they can't be trusted.

I came here with my sister looking for plants and garden decorations. First of all let me say they are very expensive on their decorations and second, as soon as we walked over to look at the plants, a woman came out of the store and followed us everywhere we went! If we went inside, she followed us in inside, if we went back outside, she went outside. What did she think we were going to do? Shove plants in our purses?? She made me feel extremely uncomfortable and we were offended. She lost a good sale because of her rude behavior.

If you are looking for a utility trailer, shop around. I was quoted a price for a trailer which was 20% higher than three other authorized dealers for the exact same make/model, avoiding paying $600 more, and I was able to get it from stock.
