It's an OK place. For sure shop around as their prices are steep IMO for various things. Some things weren't priced which I hate. Had to alert a worker that a very thirsty hamster had no water, issue was resolved while I was there. I feel bad for the ferrets as they have no way to see out of their habitat aside from the opening on the top. 😞Buyer beware, lots of moths by the scoopable foods (birds, guinea pigs, rabbit, etc) this is why they state to fridge it because they don't Sanitize the bins first before adding new food(evident by the fact the bins are wooden) and you will have moths -speaking from experience with several purchases from this store but also worked in a pet shop that had plastic bins we'd Sanitize before new food could be added-- for this exact reason. I no longer buy bulk food from here because of this and haven't had any issues since.

The animals there are being kept in terrible conditions. Their birds and mammals seem to be kept in bare minimum at least. But the reptiles and amphibians are being kept in abysmal conditions. They had those dwarf frog kits, and most of the frogs and plants had died long ago and nobody even bothered to throw them away. I managed to find one survivor who was skeletal and floating at the top of the tank. I begged and pleaded to the manager to let me buy the poor frog without the $55 tank, so that I could nurse it back to health. She refused, and told me the frog couldn't be bought without the tank. Who's going to buy a tiny plastic box with a dead plant and a dead frog? Also, the Betta cups clearly hadn't been cleaned in over a week, and they were all on the brink of death. And most of the axolotls were missing gills. Terrible! Never coming back again.

Unfortunately, my experience at Pet World Warehouse Outlet was disappointing. The living conditions for the animals were unacceptable. Birds confined to cages for over a year, visibly ill animals, rabbits cramped in small enclosures, and a fish section with half-empty tanks and numerous deceased fish. As someone who takes care of fish as a hobbyist and animal lover, I urge the store to prioritize the welfare of its animals.

I used to love this place. But...Wife and I stopped in today and it was horrible. Reptiles all looked on the verge of death, bird area was filthy and the birds looked really stressed, fuzzy critters no better, rabbits in fish tanks, ferrets in a wooden homemade box with no openings other than the mesh top. The fish area which used to be the best part of this store was in SHAMBLES!! Every tank was FILTHY. Algae growth in the tanks as well as on the glass...I mean throw a Pleco in there you sell them! Salt water fish and rock used to be all over now only a few tanks. They had a massive coral saltwater tank a few years back and that whole thing is gone. I used to buy live coral from here and it was decent now they dont even sell it anymore. It is a shame what this store has become!! Dont even get me started on prices. $6 guppies? $60 for a 16lb bag of cat food? They had a poor parrot in there with a $7000 price tag on it....wow, just wow. Clean it up Pet World, you should be ashamed of yourselves!!

It was my first time visiting the store, and I got there not long before closing so I only had time to go in the reptile section...I had a great experience with the young man in the reptile section, his name was Alex, and he was extremely knowledgeable about all of the reptiles. He was very courteous and helpful. He got me all set up with my new tree frog and all her needs.I was really happy with the service from all the employees! It was a great experience!I also saw a really neat creature I'd never heard of before.. it's a legless lizard, it's pretty cool, check it out before it's gone!

Friendly staff and clean store, didn’t have much gold fish feeder. It is a one stop shop for all your pets needs. I Would shop again.

This place is typical of what you may expect from a pet store. It smells strongly of dirty animals upon arriving, the prices are a bit inflated, but the staff are ultra kind and helpful. The one thing that sort of set me off thou was the dismal state of the reptile section, I mean dame, first off empty as heck and the few animals that are there look a bit orphan Annie ish, I definitely was not inspired to purchase any animal. If anything, I felt sad for them and really just wanted to get out of there. Gave 3 stars because of the great staff there, but I really wanted to give a 2 star.

If I could give them lower than one I would. The bird enclosures have little to no enrichment and keep bigger birds that need WAY more than what they have. Reptiles are always kept in terrible conditions as well as the small animals. Rabbits and ferrets kept in the smallest habitats that just makes you want to buy them just to have them not in their own filth. It’s 2022 and you’re still giving the worst pet care possible and somehow keep staying in business. Your animals deserve so much more then what you’re putting them through by having them there. This place definitely sucks. The customer service is horrible. I used to work here and a lady came up to me at the counter to help find a specific dog food. I happily obliged and started walking to show her. Next thing I know I’m getting yelled at for showing her. Keep in mind there were two workers at the counter. I would also like to mention that there animals do not have the right habitable spaces. The Poor bunny’s are in fish tanks and that is definitely not ok. I got very little job training even though I told them I wasn’t ready. On my 3rd day they let me go. A week later I was walking to the dollar store to pick up some stuff and they called the cops on me for walking past the store. If you think you should go to this store, think again. I’d recommend taking your business elsewhere. Also don’t even get me started on the Managers. Living embodiment of a Karen.

Clean store, well organized! Employees were helpful when asked, but fairly inattentive if you did not approach them first. Employees were not particularly knowledgeable, but did try their best to find answers for you. I have to give them credit for that! Very cute little critters here, and they seem happy and well cared for! Check out this cute rat!

Their selection of tropical fish was very slim to none. I know it was close to closing but employees were not very engaging. Had everything a person into aquariums needed for supplies and the store was clean.

Got a Cinnamon Conure from here. In the past we had African Grey from here. They carry basically all a parrot owner needs plus cats, bunnies, reptiles, fish, and small mammals. The normal domestic animals are covered too.Here is our little sweetie Sinnamon the Cinnamon Conure

Totally not impressed. Stopped at this store in the morning, right after opening. Not a single one of the five employees acknowledged I was there. I had a puppy along, which in a pet store, should have elicited greetings from staff, but we were completely ignored. Will not be returning.

Went here and bought 3 female guppies last week. All of my fish in the entire tank died, approximately 12 fish. I emailed the store to try to correct the problem but they werent willing to help. I offered a water test, my tank was fully cycled and healthy before introducing these fish. The experience in store was horrific. The employee getting our fish had me hold the bag of water for him, and he did not tie it remotely tight, it had to be retied at the register. By the time we left, I felt like i had rescued these fish from their graveyard aquariums. This review would have been avoided if the store was willing to correct their problem

The small animals at this location are kept in horrible conditions - bunnies kept in small glass aquariums with no enrichment, ferrets kept in weird solid wooden boxes with only mesh on top, and their fish aquariums are disgusting.

I met a very friendly & helpful lady here. Kind of upsets me because I can't remember her name at the moment. Older white lady with blondish hair and is pretty new there.As always I was looking for wet dog food for my 14y.o.chi-weenie because he's starting to slowly dislike his current food. He has heart disease & can only eat a low sodium food. This is the 5th time I'm having to change his diet. She had another employee check on their computer which dog food they sell that's low sodium. Started showing me & I ended up picking the very 1st brand she showed me because I was quite satisfied with what it was.This lady is very down to earth & very easy to talk to. Sweet as can be & made my stressful shopping experience a pretty good one. Will update this review with her name when I shop there again. She deserves to be recognized for great customer service. Everyone there is friendly and helpful. Never had a bad experience at this store. Totally recommend it!

Good employees…. Wish they would invest in a fish room specialist or something to keep up with the newer chains. I just don’t understand why not invest in the work to keep up with competition. Fish are the only animal i would steer clear of!

Customer service is always solid, and there is a great selection of products. Also, this is the best place in town for live feeder insects in terms of price and quality.However, the animals that are up for adoption are housed in terrible, inhumane conditions. Rabbits are kept in tiny, dirty glass terrariums without sufficient stimulation. Reptiles are kept in poorly maintained and dirty enclosures that are often far too small. And, birds are kept in crowded, dirty cages with limited toys.

Staff is friendly and knowledgeable about pets. The owner is awesome she understands my predicament in dealing with my cat who is dieing. Einstein is a sweetheart he let's me puck him up and he hugs me when I do this.

Absolutely unbelievably horrible prices terrible treatment of their animals refusal to even remotely listen to anybody that has any expertise even when it came to attempting to give them the advice for nothing else than to make sure that the animals were cared for properly which they would have none of I have weekly orders of hundreds of crickets for my tarantulas that I breed which you would think would be something that they would accommodate and the very few times that they had done so they have unbelievably overcharged me for the number of crickets that they have given me and because of me questioning them because I know how many crickets 100 looks like and when I'm given 50 and 25 are dead before I get home I expect for someboy who spends as much money as I do much less bless any other customer that they have they clearly do not care about their animals much less anybody else's the tarantula that they currently have that they're asking over $250 for I can get for $15 and they haven't even given theirs a proper habitat to poor thing is just cowering in a corner they've had it for over 6 months it should be three times the size that it is these people are awful awful people nobody should patronize them. If you care about your animals are just animals in general in any way, don't ever shop here don't ever come here this place is the worst.

Today was our first visit here. Bought our very first pet ( small animal) . A huge shout out to Ashley M who helped us immensely, patiently explaining every little detail and answering all the questions my young children had, helping us come to the right decision without upselling or are any other sales gimmicks. She was very knowledgeable and the store was clean and reasonably well organized. Make sure to not miss the talking parrot at the checkout.

Not friendly, you have to interrupt their gathered together conversations at the counter. I got yelled at and stuff slammed on the counter asking for an explanation of why the AMT owed was so high and asking for a receipt. She then said I was permanently kicked out of the store and the other location. They had me on their watch list. Seriously it's pet and feed store. It's a private owned store and they definitely let it be known. They don't take care of their birds right at all, I've bought birds I've wanted at their extremely high prices instead of a different place. I was always happy I did to get them out of their care. Sad... Very sad...

The staff is very friendly. My daughter likes to go there just to see the animals and they treat us very kindly even though they know we are not buying anything on most visits.Their selection of pet food is tremendous. They have a better selection of healthy choices than most others.

Horrible customer service! Management couldn't be bothered with any questions in regards to the fish department. She explained she was too busy to assist customers for the rest of the day. Wow! I thought it was her job to put customers first. Without customers how would you be in business. My fiance has been a loyal customer and spends hundreds of dollars here on 3 aquariums and our dog. Personally, I think this is a dirty, unkept store, the fish always die from here and the quality of life seems to be poor based on the lack of attention the fish department is in. It would be one thing if the customer service was reasonable. However, each time I reluctantly walk into this store. I leave disappointed and undervalued as a paying customer. The employees are rude and never smile, greet or say thank you. It's not like they provide me a service or I get anything for free, We spend money here....it would be nice to have our questions answered. Instead of being brushed off. I hope the owners evaluate their staff and management team. This store is despicable.
