Top service all around!I called in July for pricing, and they were transparent about what to expect. They were booked out to early August so I set an appointment but asked them to put me on a cancelation list. They followed through and called me last week and got me in on short notice for July 27th. I am very impressed with the interpersonal communication of all staff and their love for fur babies!My sweet babies felt so comfortable during their appointment because they were given time to adjust and settle in.

Dr. Yagel is the best vet for your cat, especially if they have a rare or unusual condition! She has gone absolute advice and getting for my family and myself!My only complaint would be that labs are a bit pricey, they’re actually a bit more than the exam fee itself, but it’s worth it for the great care.I noticed that the clinic has recently grown so I was nervous as I’ve had experiences where quality of care stops significantly when a clinic grows but McFarland animal hospital has continued to give exceptional care and will try to get you in within a timely manner. I was able to get my cat in within a week, whereas my old vet had a waiting list only and it was 4-6 weeks long.

They are very passionate about what they do. They make sure you know everything that you need to know an make sure you don't have any questions an if you do have questions they answer them to the best of their ability. I highly recommend them to anyone that is looking for a place for their babies. ❤❤❤ They did everything they could with our Baxter boy. Thank you all!!!!

That were very good at helping us with our elderly cat at her end of life. They came and did a home visit to check on her and showed us how to give her IV fluids. They definitely made her end of life much better. Thank you

Nice vets. They will talk you through all your questions. Can usually get in here quickly. They have boarding, not that I used it, but I saw it advertised. This is my dog on the floor there. She's feeling better.

I would give it no stars if I was able to.Least compassionate place I have ever taken an animal to. The vet Owner, is one of the most condescending vets I have ever experienced in my life.The front desk staff is rude and doesn't follow up when they say they will. Not sure if they even like animals up at the front desk answering the phones.And the manager is the worst customer service I have ever experienced. She needs to take a few classes, maybe go train for a few years in customer service actually before coming back to that position if ever.Her stance is NOT the customer is always right, but the business is always right and excuses that they are understaffed is her main go to for an answer (I mean excuse) for the issues in their facility. Go anywhere but this place...it is getting worse and worse.

they have been great in some of the hardest parts of owning a pet to the best. Just had a medical emergency with a new puppy. they cared for her and kept in contact with us consistently. never once did i feel like i was a nuisance so not only has our dogs been cared for but we the pet owners were cared for also

I am giving this Veterinary clinic a 1 star, but it is not due to the Veterinarians but because of the front desk scheduler(s). I called on 2/23/23 to make an appointment to get a due date and to find out how many puppies my pregnant dog is having(her first litter). When I came in for my 3:30pm appointment on 3/2/23(which I had to take off work for), I was told there was no appointment and did I call another clinic. I was able to tell the receptionist when and even what time I called to make this appointment. She didn't say I apologize, I'm sorry, let me see what I can do, NOTHING. I had to ask if they could get her in and if not when, which I was given ANOTHER 2 WEEKS! To me that is very unacceptable, because someone didn't do their job, I had to wait another 2 weeks, needless to say if my calculations are correct is my dogs birth week, so it'd be a little to late.I was and am so furious that I will not be going back to them and found a new vet that is willing to get her in TOMORROW!!!. Its sad since I've always taken my animals there through the years.SO heads up, when you make an appointment, make sure to call back after you hang up to make sure the scheduler ACTUALLY did the job she is paid for!

Dr. Keppel and Dr. Alli have been incredible for my two dogs. Whether it's a routine exam or an emergency, the time they take to make you and your pet feel important is invaluable. The clinic is clean and the faces are all friendly.

The doctors and all of their staff are AWESOME!! They helped us with an emergency amputation followed by caring for our pup with cancer, and they helped us with her passing. They were amazing with the whole situation, from the start back in August 2019, until after her passing. We had never used them until we found out late one Sunday night that our 6 year old pitbull needed one of her back legs amputated at the hip joint ASAP. They got us in the next day and did an amazing job - her hip healed looking great and with no complications or infection! Our pitty has since passed but we were so impressed with them that we switched all of our pets to them instead of using our local vets. They are so friendly and such great people to deal with - and our animals love them too!

So amazing! I had called my regular vet and emailed in photos of a lesion on my 10 week old puppy. They wouldn't see her. So I called another local vet, McFarland Animal Hospital. They looked at the pictures, called back within minutes and got her in for an appointment the same day. Not only did they confirm an infection, they also found she had fleas. The vet was so kind and explained everything to me thoroughly. Then to top it off, I thought the bill would be very high given the issues/meds/last minute appointment... but it was the most reasonable vet bill I've ever paid! I will be switching all vet care to McFarland Animal Hospital, they are great!

I had such a great experience at McFarland Animal Hospital. I have a human reactive dog and they were so understanding about it. They waited until she was comfortable with them and then gave her vaccines and took a blood sample in the parking lot since she was comfortable and relaxed where she was. Definitely recommend!

Adopted a dog and needed a new vet in the area as our last one was in Milwaukee. Was recommended to McFarland and I am so happy with the facility & staff! Our dog is very timid and shy so it was hard taking him the first time as we couldn't go in with him due to Covid-19, but the staff was so kind and patient with him. What really made us happy with our new vet was that we had to take him in this past Friday for unexpected head tremors; thankfully he is going to be just fine, but they called on a Saturday to see how he was! I was so impressed with them following up to see how he was. I would highly recommend this facility!

I'm not usually one for reviews, but when I came home from work to a very sick cat that clearly needed to be seen asap, they were able to fit us in the schedule within an hour. Despite us being first time customers, they got us through the check-in process and into an exam room right away. The staff were kind, efficient, and their pricing was better than what I would consider fair. His prognosis was not good, but they did not try to give us the run-around with lots of extra tests and medication. We were given our best shot of treatment through the weekend, but the vet was honest and told us that if we did not see any improvement by Monday, there were little other options. He passed away Monday evening. I cannot express my gratitude towards the staff at McFarland Animal Hospital, what they do is incredible and they made one of the hardest things I've ever had to do just a little bit easier.

PLEASE READ! Do not bring your pets here! We had initial concerns because it was difficult to get in contact with this facility. They were also always behind schedule by at least 30 minutes. We brought our kittens there multiple times for shots, spay, and neuter. All but one visit the paperwork was incorrect. We brought our kitten in because it would not stop puking where they told us that he was fine. By the next day our kitten was almost dead. We had to take the kitten into the emergency room where they immediately solved the issue. I would strongly suggest that you avoid McFarland Animal Hospital.

Cannot say enough good things. They got us a last minute appointment for our cat, who absolutely needed to be seen asap. They close at noon on Saturdays; they gave us an 11:30 appt. The staff was calm in my anxiety, they treated our cat lovingly and explained everything in terms that were easy to understand. The whole staff made me feel amazing, and the care my cat got was awesome. They even carried my carrier out to my car for me, so I could carry the food and other meds I was given. Highly recommend.

Called for the first time after a recommendation from a friend. My dog has been sick and I was worried that since it was a Saturday I wouldn’t receive answers until Monday and obviously wouldn’t get an appointment since their limited hours and being a new patient.Called at opening and the receptionist stated that they did not have any openings, as it was a Saturday, she put me on hold and spoke with the vet who had me bring in my dog anyway.Extremely pleased with their service and care for my dog as if it were their own. It seems like they’re more concerned about the pet then the money aspect, as it should be, unlike every other vet I’ve ever been too. Highly recommend.

Great staff who take wonderful care of your pet. Our dog had bladder stones and they spent a lot of time answering our questions. They treated our dog like it was the only animal at the clinic. Great recovery on our dog.

I have a dog who is afraid of people and he has to be sedated to be seen. McFarland Animal Hospital takes such good care of him. They understand his special needs and are so gentle with him. I would not take him anywhere else!

I am so glad that our kitten's foster mom recommended we go to McFarland Animal Hospital for our kitten's care. The staff and doctors are very responsive and caring. They always get back to us even though they are super busy. They make time for your animal if they are in immediate need of care and their prices are very reasonable. They are very professional and I love that the doctors take the time to help you problem solve and help you understand any conditions your pet may or may not have. I have been nothing short of impressed with every dealing I have had with McFarland Animal Hospital. We had a very sick kitty for the past month and I was always able to get an appointment when needed (even at very short notice). Both Doctors Raasch and Yackel are very caring vets, and have both taken the time out of their day to call me personally and answer questions about my kitty's health. The vet techs and front desk staff are always friendly and professional, the offices are always very clean, and it is overall a very wonderful animal hospital. We will definitely be bringing our new kittens in for their regular vet visits when we are lucky enough to get them.

Very friendly and straight to the point. I have been going here for years and every time I go in, I get exactly what I need and don't get pressured to buy any extras. They are always friendly to my puppy and me and try and minimize the amount of time spent there. Love this place and will be coming back for many more years.

When we moved to the area, we had a geriatric cat and geriatric dog. The cat was having "old cat" problems and the veterinary staff helped us through our options for treatment and never pressured us one way or the other. When he passed, the were kind, considerate and helpful in our choices. The same for our dog, who is on a special diet. They always have his food in stock. The boarding services are great. We tried a large kennel, but I think it wore our old guy out the last time. The large kennel is good, but it is our backup if McFarland Animal Hospital is booked up.
