Man, I love Wisconsin river meats. They do an amazing job at deer processing. The cranberry and jalapeño summer sausage is to die for. They have a variety of meats for sale in their store

Our order was processed quickly. We ordered the cheese combo, Sharp Cheddar Cheese, Bacon, Cheddar Sausage, and Polish Sausage. Along with our order, we received a laminated instruction sheet which was of great help. We got a lot for our money. Our order was more than what we expected. We are very happy with it. We froze the rest of the meats and cheeses.We tasted the Colby and Cheddar cheeses and we must say that they are among the best cheeses we have ever tasted. We also received a present, 'Sweet Baby Dave's BBQ Sticks' with a thank you note. This meant a lot to us. This bbq stick is really delicious. We look forward to having our meats and cheeses everyday. These products are much better than the ones you get from the typical grocery store in the United States.

We first stopped at Andy's meats in endeavor and it was a waste of time. They were short with my wife when she asked about bulk options and didn't care to work with us. We were an inconvenience.So we went straight over to wisconsin river meats and as soon as we walked in the door we got welcomed in and asked if we needed any help. Of course we did as it was our first time buying in bulk and the lady who helped was amazing. I also picked up some elk sticks and my life was forever changed.

Today we arrived just as they were locking the door. We had not checked their hours. They were so nice and unlocked the door and told us to take our time. We shop there often so we knew what we wanted and hurried through. We live about 30 minutes away and yes we were silly not to check the hours but are so thankful they were so gracious to let us in. Love shopping and supporting local. Our grandson will be so happy to have his favorite blueberry sausage links for Easter.

Great, fresh meats always on hand, and the selection of bratwurst is fantastic. We are always appreciated there. It is family owned and operated, so it's easy to see that they care about their customers. We shop there regularly we are hooked on their teriyaki beef jerky.

We recently went to one of our favorite local watering holes specifically for the meat raffle. We purchased our paddles and were lucky enough to win a few different meat cuts. We won 2 bacon wrapped tenderloin which we were excited about. The following weekend I fired up the grill and cooked them to what I thought was perfection. I’ve been grilling for over 40 years so this wasn’t my first rodeo. The short story is the tenderloins were terrible, extremely tough, not just one but both of them. Very disappointed

Carissa who works there likes to bully people. She is a very rude person, terrible people skills, she also likes to harass people outside of their jobs and make posts about them. Would never see myself here because of her attitude. Truly a terrible terrible employee

Very clean store with a wide variety of meats, cheeses and beers. Always a pleasure to see what's available because it all looks good. 5 stars for selection and product organization!However, cashiers have a customer service problem when they see you waiting at the register ready to check out, stop to eat (!!!) behind the meat counter, go into the backroom for no apparent reason, and then slowly walk to the register and arrive with no greeting or apology. It doesn't take much to smile, say hello, and thank a customer for waiting. One half minute longer wait time would have resulted in no sale at all. Minus 2 stars for our aggravation and your opportunity to improve.

If your gonna be in customer service learn how to be respectful and welcoming not just to your locals. When asked a question instead of scrunching your nose and responding in a snotty voice with a reply of "I don't know" and walking away without attempting to even attempt to find a answer.Was there to buy a large quantity of meat and walked out with dog bones only as the way they spoke and treated my husband and I was horrible looking on their business! & u deserve NO stars but google refused to let me submit w/o atleast putting one...

Very disappointed. I should have listened to the locals and gone elsewhere! I Ordered bacon, landjeggers and ring bologna for family in NC for Christmas. Wis River shipped in a box: NO ICE, NO INSULATED BOX and through USPS. Needless to say, my family rec'd package four full days later..warm slimey bacon, warm ring bologna. This is unacceptable! Nothing obvious on their website indicated it would ship this way! I Paid too much money to send it this way. I called WisRiver next business day. All the woman had to say (repeatedly) was this is how they always ship things. She would have owner (?) call me back. I NEVER rec'd any call back!! I understand bacon and bologna are smoked but Would you eat bacon after it's sat on your counter for 4 days??? Terrible Customer Service. Save your money!UPDATE - after a call from Patrick. (See below) I appreciate your call to me, and your offer to "make it right." I did find it interesting that your call came a week after I called and was told that I would get a callback the day after my call...and ONLY my review was posted! I only spoke the truth and firmly believe that reviews are a useful tool for all consumers. It's important that people know the truth. Your request to take the review down and you would "make it right" with me, concerns me. I wonder how many other bad reviews were removed because you "made it right" with the customer???Enjoy your New Year!

Thank goodness for Dave and his whole team! I regularly order cheese from Wisconsin River Meats and it always comes so well packaged and with a hand written note! I used the Muenster cheese to make some amazing cheese bagels. Living in a place where cheese is hard to come by, I can't tell you what it means to have this little slice of home in my kitchen.

I love to order from this place as much as I can I usually get the venison summer sausage. Next I just bought some honey ham snack sticks and I can’t wait to get them. I’ll definitely be coming back for more. Unfortunately I do live far away but ordering online is usually quick and easy. Keep up the great work

Went to donate a deer called ahead to make sure it would not be a problem that I cut the head off for a European mount and was told that it won’t be a problem and won’t be charged get there and am waiting in line for a parking spot for about 45 minutes get inside finally and fill out all the paperwork and get in yet another line for about 30 minutes to fill out yet another form and then was asked if I took anything off the deer told them yea I cut the head off and they wanted to charge me 45 dollars after being told on the phone it would not be a problem and there would not be a chargeEdit: Had the owner reach out to me personally and went back in and shook my hand which means a lot to me and offered to make it right with some product really respect the owner in the aspect that he didn’t try to deny it I understand mistakes happen and it’s how you own up to them that show who you are

My boyfriend stopped here with his buddy on a business trip, he brought home a big variety! We had the ribeye, NY strip, T-bone, hickory smoked bacon, burgers, and the big bologna. Everything was absolutely delicious! Very impressed with the cuts and flavor, we couldn’t be more serious about recommending stopping in. Also the big bologna is to die for browned up a touch in a pan just on its own, fantastic flavor! We will be back for more whenever we can.

Got a spilt 1/2 cow and got rotten ground beef so if ur in the market to pay 740 for a split 1/2 that comes with rotten ground beef then go for it now I would have to say u should cut the meat man out if ur going to get rotten ground anyways

I am so happy with the 1/2 pig and 1/4 beef will bought early spring 2022. Have not had a bad experience with any cut of meat we have had. The bacon is the best can not go back to store bought. We had cuts that we wanted. Thank your staff as they are very helpful with any questions. GREAT JOB. THANK YOU VERY MUCH!

Just happened to be passing my and decided to stop. The smell when you open the door was worth the stop alone lol. It was an awesome store to walk around. They had so many sections. I bought a 5lb, uncut slab of bacon. Stop if you haven't but be warned, you'll want to go back lol.
