Mauston WI: The young male cashier is useless. I walked in, went to the photo counter. He saw me standing there and walked toward the counter but instead turned down an aisle. A few moments later he came back and came to the photo counter. I checked my photos and thanked him and told him I had some shopping to do.As I was shopping, I saw a man waiting to check out. I went up the aisle and down the next, I saw the man looking for the clerk down several aisles. As I got to the end of the aisle the man was still standing there! I turned toward the aisle that I had seen the cashier "working". I saw that he was finally heading to the cash register.When I checked out my customer number did not work. I told him the last time I was in there the clerk had supposedly put in my new phone number. He had me try again. No luck. He asked me my name and told me I was not in the system.He did not offer to add me again or give me any idea what I could do. His attitude was piss poor, non-caring and rather snarky. I bet his parents would be so proud of him!The friend I was with did not fare any better. She told me that he never applied her points credit. She went back in bought something for the amount of her credit and he tried to charge her. She explained again that he didn't use her points and he was to apply this purchase to her points. He had an attitude towards her and she told him he was rude.

I would give zero stars if I could. I've been using this pharmacy for a little over 3 years. Things were ok in the beginning but last year and especially coming into 2024 this place has gone into a downward spiral. I have to pick up prescriptions every month and the last 4 months at least, I've called it in, gone to pick it up when the automation told me it'd be ready and it wasn't there. Not only that but I've also been told that I did NOT call in a refill when I arrived and that they won't have it. I have even started waiting until I get the text message from Walgreens to verify that my prescription is ready for pick up, go to the pharmacy, just for the pharmacist to rudely tell me that she doesn't know why I'd get that text since they don't have it, they don't have any refills, and they won't be able to fill it.

Horrible customer service. Every simple time I come for my prescriptions it’s a minimum 30 minute wait. Unacceptable!!!

Extremely subpar service here. Prescription called in days in advance, went to pick up, no record of scrip on file. Called doctor, all good on their end, told by pharmacy to come back in 30 minutes. Killed 30 minutes driving around, went back & told to please come back in another 30 minutes. Just a total rediculous waste of time. Absolute disrespect for customers time & energy.

Walgreens has to be the most dysfunctional pharmacy there is!! Every single time I have to refill a medication i get the run around. There pharmacy techs are also very rude and seem like they don’t care. Do better walgreens

This has to be the most dysfunctional business in the area. They send a notification that the script is ready, you go to pick it up and nope, not ready. Oh let’s not forget that they have screwed up the script and will not take ownership of their mistake. We are switching pharmacies after too many headaches.

I don't mind waiting for prescriptions here but the pharmacy tech working today was very short and with attiwith me as well as other customers. I believe her name was Jodi?. I came in on Saturday Feb. 25th at noonish. She is tall with tattoos on both arms and reddish hair. My prescription got sent here by mistake. Was supposed to go to another as they are a little nicer.

I use Walgreens for my medications,sometimes, there is a problem . I hate the help center you are connected to if all of the pharmacy personnel are busy. Once you get them on the line, they are very helpful 👌 🙂.At times, they don't have the meds. I need to take the same ones every month, so I have had to wait for it to come in or go to another Walgreens that has them. The closest store is another 30 miles.They have many other things. I need make-up, gifts cards. Great selection of extra supplements at great prices. They always. Have BOGO SALES ALL THE TIME.YOU ALSO GET BONUS DEALS BUILD UP YOUR 💰 EVERTIME YOU PURCHASED.I SAVE MY FOR Christmas 🎄 time.For the BOGO sale, then....

Don't know how they got 2 5 star reviews in the last 2 weeks but they have to be fake or paid for cuz prescriptions are never ready when promised 2 weeks ago I heard them tell someone they were 5 days behind on prescriptions. Sat there for an hour and a half waiting for a script that was "ready" the night before and in that time at least 10 people were told their scripts weren't ready even though they got text email or phone message saying they were ready the day before. The only reason they still have business is they are the only big pharmacy within 20 miles.

They need to do a better job at hiring people who actually have customer service experience because I called and asked if they had something they went and looked and it wasn't what I needed I said okay thank you for your time I appreciate it but that's not what I'm looking for you have yourself a nice day, and then I get some backhanded response from the person saying sure, like that is no way to respond to somebody being kind and courteous to you... I transferred a prescription that was supposed to be ready in 90 minutes and 2 days later I went to pick it up and it wasn't ready. Waited 5 deep in line for them to tell be it would be ready in 20 minutes, then they called my name and I stood 5 deep in line to pick it up. A total of 1 hour and 10 minutes to pick up a prescription that was supposed to be ready 2 days before I arrived. Terrible service!

My prescriptions are never done when promised, or even relatively close to the promise time. I typically have to wait at least an hour after arrival to receive maybe one of my prescriptions. Basic pharmacy staff tries their hardest, but the pharmacist is blatantly rude every time I’ve had to converse with him.

The website is terrible to navigate for ordering refills. Status of refills indicate at times still in processing. I do not have auto refills yet I get notified that the prescription is ready for pickup. That explains why there are refills all over the place including on the floor. They need to trash the site and get a newer and user friendly site.

Needed to talk to someone in the pharmacy....on hold for so long my living room cordless phone started beeping. Had to continue on hold using the bedroom cordless. Ridiculous wait time!! Now today 10/15/22 they are closed😠

I ALWAYS have trouble getting one of my medication. I understand it is a controlled substance. I am told it is always out of stock and I can get it in 3 days. So when I try in 3 days they tell me that it is still out of stock. It also seems like its getting later and later each month. A few months ago it was about the 16th-18th now its not until the 24th. This really irritates me because it is not consistent.

Awful place to go do not go here. I went here for a medication that they were out if stock for so I waited a week and finally got a message then they had to get a pre approval letter from my doctor for the medication. Two days letter they got the approval letter and told me they did not have my medication and has to order more. So it's very weird that they had it 2 days earlier before they sent the letter so they must of gave my prescription to someone else or never had it just awful.

This place is a mess, I don’t blame the employees. I blame incompetent management and ownership. Perhaps if you paid more than slave wages you could properly staff the facility. Changing all my stuff to a different pharmacy now.

We had to pick up 4 prescriptions and they called and said our prescriptions were ready for pick up. So we went to pick them up and we get here and they only had two filled and they said they would quickly fill the third they then started to tell us that our insurance did not cover the 4th prescription so they did not fill it we told them to look again we have never had a problem with our insurance we have two insurances and he looked again and it was covered by one but not the other and he looks at us and says do you actually want that one we said yes and then he huffed and puffed and said fine then filled the prescription. How was it our fault that they didn’t take the time to read the computer screen and do their job. I understand mistakes are made but own up to them!

Absolutely terrible customer service in Mauston! Was on hold for 40+ minutes just to be greeted as though I was a bother to them. When I expressed my experience I was simply told (snotty) sorry you feel that, but it is what it is, we are short staffed. Why is corporate not concerned with this location????

Place is a joke, pharmacy has been ran into ground and they have no care for your time. They say they are so busy and staffing well Pau better, expect more from employess and don't let the bosses play the games they have been for years. At least the manager left

Worst service ever!! The cashier a younger gentleman was very rude when he had to redo my transaction I would say someone should teach him better customer service skills! The lady who assisted him was also very rude made remarks about having to come back and help him once again with my transaction. They definitely need to treat their customers better.

Absolutely the worst pharmacy, been trying to refill a medication for my disabled son since 12/1 and Walgreens still can't get their act in order to get his medication. Totally finding a different pharmacy

Absolutely horrible service today by the pharmacy. If that employee worked for me I would fire them on the spot! The phone system is broken and drops you after 3-4 minutes on hold. Stay away if you can at all costs.

I was a bit unsure what to expect after reading the reviews but I was pleasantly suprised. They were polite both on the phone and in store and my prescription was ready at the time promised. For me it was great service.

This is Vicki Boehm. My husband went to the Mauston WI Walgreens to fill his prescription and they informed him that fast pay was not working because we do not have enough money in our account. I have over $500 in that account and I KNOW his prescription is about $20. When I called about this the lady hung up on me. We will be taking our business elsewhere.

Literally worst pharmacy! You can always expect to have to wait 30 minutes when going through the drive-thru even if your the first one in line! This happens every time you go there no matter what time it is durning the day. I have never had a good experience at this pharmacy! Something needs to change!

Rude employees in pharmacy, one named Kris slamming her fist on the keyboard and acting like I was lying about getting notification about my meds being ready. Piss poor customer service. She shouldn't be working around people if your going to act like a child.
