This store is the worst family dollar I have ever been in. They give you cold looks half the time and spy on you when you’re just shopping. Then after I said no for donations they get mad and make you feel like you’re committing a crime. Not only that i with a couple other shoppers walked into the store as the boss was yelling at a worker in the front of the store. Do better with you’re store family dollar.

If I could give zero stars, I most definitely would..not only is the staff rude but the store was very messy and oddly organized in a way it was hard to find certain things as I was navigating through the store.. I kept feeling as if I was being watched like a criminal..as I kept seeing the same lady walk past me and linger quite a few times.. she could’ve asked if I needed help finding something but nope.. then I go to check out and was asked if I wanted to donate batteries for kids for Christmas, I declined, then she looked at me like I was an evil person, and said so you don’t want to help out the kids? She made me feel like if I didn’t I was mean so of course I then purchased a couple packs for the kids. Not sure if I’ll give this store a chance again I might just go to Dollar General from now on or drive all the way to Tomah the staff there are very friendly and helpful. Do better Mauston family dollar.

I just walked out of this store after being watched while I shopped by an employee, as though I was going to steal something. This was my second visit, both having this same experience. I'm over 40, stable financially and appear that way. I could see if I was a teenager in a hoodie and carrying a backpack, or if I appeared destitute or on drugs. We live here and always spend our money locally before shopping out of town. My family will drive down the street to Dollar General from now on.

Awesome and very clean store. Looks a.lot better after the remodeling. If you havent checked it out yet you should. It has almost everything you could want.

I try to stop here periodically for stock ups and little bits for my kids and household. The elderly lady checking me out today didnt seem at all friendly or happy to have to ring up a patron. She even rolled her eyes at me. I guess i would consider spending my money elsewhere in the future.

Called them because I had just purchased a item and I opened them and they looked terrible checked and they were out of date . Called first time and they hung up . Second time she answered and I told her I purchased item and it was spoiled and she said bring receipt with them and later .I didn't even get to finish talking I was calling to have them take them off selves but she was in too much of a rush to hear anything I said. Also the few times I go here normally they make you wait at the cash register. I once rang the bell that was hiding on back by candy she put up by her register . when I rang it after waiting for over 5 minutes. The first thing she said was how did you ring the bell. And rolled her eyes. They have no rush ever and make it seem like we are a inconvenience for them . Definitely don't like going here

My dad was cussed at by another employee over simply stating if they cant take money or card they should lock doors and fix the incident then reopen he then was followed outside by this employee to the point she was screaming at my father outside in front of everyone I tried calling today and once more poor service!! My dad has tried calling corporate but they wont even check in for five days!!! My dad was just chased out by a employee and noone will fix the problem!! They tried taking my name and number but had to ask my last name five times when she stated she is the manager ! Now I need some other manager!? This is threatening my father to the point he was very upset! Not happy at all something needs to be done If this was me my job would of been on the line!! Noone should be treated like this over simply suggesting something!!

Employees without masks at the checkout.Costumes coming into the store with out masks.When I asked if they have a mask policyShe did no "we want to live" (I have no idea what that statement could mean).I will not be returning to this store and will make sure my family and friends know all about this.All while our city has the highest infection rate to date.

Terrible service. Expect to stand alone at the counter for 5 minutes before you're noticed or multiply that by the number of people in front of you. The staff doesn't know what is where. The offset is that they are cheap. You get what you pay for.

It's a great place to shop, friendly workers and clean. I've been to may other dollar type stores and this one is a testament to how a Family Dollar, or any other retail store should be.
