The cheese curds are super squeaky and absolutely amazing! They have an amazing selection and a lot more samples at this store than the other one hint, hint. So you should probably just try them both. The fresh curds are irresistibly addictive according to my best friend. If they're out of cheese curds or something at one store, the other store is likely to have it. It's right off the highway, stop in and check it out.

This place is marvelous! Cute little store attached to the factory on a county road close to town. Easy access, nice clean store that is well organized and friendly staff. Great cheese samples! Phenomenal cheese deals, including factory seconds etc. I bought more cheese than I need but I know that I will use it! I will stop by this place every time I am around there, I've been to many cheese factories in Wisconsin and I feel this had the best variety and pricing and is not appearing like a tourist trap like many of the other cheese stores. Stop here you will not be disappointed!

Saw this place on the side of the road billboard. When traveling through Wisconsin you have to buy cheese. Glad we stopped. Great gifts. I especially enjoyed the many samples to make my choices easier.

THE SQUEAKIEST!!! Buy them at the factory store. They're the freshest you can get, still have whey in the bag! Growing up in WI I've eaten a lot of cheese curds, and these are the best I've had by far.

Charming shop with an actual cheese processing area you can view through a window. Friendly staff and lots of cheeses and gifts. This will be our new cheese shop when traveling through Wisconsin. The cheese curds actually squeak😂

Stopped in on my way home from Chicago for some quick thank you gifts. The premade/pre prepped gift boxes worked out for our needs. Absolutely worth the stop, we also got some road cheese curds. This was a fantastic stop!

The gal behind the counter was awesome. I was just going to buy some curds but she gave me sample and was a wealth of knowledge. I ended up leaving with way more items than I planned to. Good stop and the curds were awesome.

Loved the store. The woman who waited on us was amazing. She should really get commission. She was so helpful. If it wasn't for her i wouldn't of spent so much money. I assume the lady that owned it passed by us a couple times while we were there. Not so much as a smile, hello, come back and see us or we appreciate your business. Least to their credit they hired that wonderful lady who took such care of us. The owner needs to take lessons and a few notes from her.

What a memorable experience. I was traveling and came across this company. I arranged an after hours pickup due to not making it during business hours. When I arrived to this cheese factory store, I couldn’t find my package. This was late at night and luckily the manager Debbie, one of the nicest ladies I came across in Wisconsin happened to show up as I was trying to figure out what to do. She introduced herself and told me how much she loves working for this company and that she would gladly help me and take care of my order. We talked for a good 20 minutes about my travels and her love for her job.I left feeling like I owe this cheese factory more than what I had paid. This review does not do this place justice. Not only was the service so outstanding but the cheese curds and every single item I purchased was delicious. From the variety of beef summer sausages to the award winning cheeses. I am going back there and will be going there anytime I’m passing through Wisconsin.Thank you Debbie and thank you Carr Valley Cheese for hiring such lovely employees!!!

Cute store with a large variety of cheese. They have cow cheese, goat cheese, sheep cheese and mixed cheese. They have samples too. The bread cheese is delicious. They also have fresh cheese curds, which were so squeaky and good. They have a discount table with great prices. They have some small packages of cheese, so we were able to buy quite a few varieties. The staff is wonderful, helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. We arrived a few minutes before they opened in the morning and they let us in. They aim to please. Worth the stop anytime.

Amazing stop! We are passing through Wisconsin and see the billboard. We stop and have the best cheese experience we could ask for. Not only are there unlimited cheeses, but there are taster samples, and an amazing hostess who helps us navigate the cheese paradise to find the cheeses we will love and travel with us on our trip. So if you want an authentic cheese experience, come here, you can't have a better Wisconsin cheese experience. Thank you for making our travel amazing!!

Always stop here! Though I live outside St. Louis, I grew up 7 miles from here. Great curds, but also aged cedars, cave cheeses, stinky cheeses. Three miles off of 90/94, easy to go by way of Wisconsin Dells! A few samples also might just sate you!

Absolutely the best cheese place I've come across so far. They offer samples of many of their product, and it got me for a few additional, unplanned purchases.Their aged cheddar go as far as 12 year and it's fantastic.

This little store store packs a lot of punch! I have been going here for 15+ years and have been buying their cheese even longer. Very clean and well organized.The store is directly connected to the factory and has some of the most knowledgeable and friendly staff. They provide wish advise and plenty of free samples.Carr Valley have 5+ stores in the area providing a 100+ different types of their own cheese and other local purveyors, even including the only US made Lindbergher cheese from Monroe, WI.Prices are fair considering all the free samples, variety, and freshness.If you are a local you will quickly become a regular. If you are a passer through, this will become a must stop. I can't recommend it any higher.

Great cheese and very friendly staff. Lots of free samples of different cheeses. You can see the cheese making process and there is a video describing the entire process.You can call and place orders which will be filled within days for custom cheese blocks or rounds. Ask to try their bread cheese and they will heat some up for you.

Wonderful, flavorful cheese like I used to get for a snack from Mom when I was a little boy. It,s nice to once again bite into a slice of cheese and "taste" some flavor. I stop here every time I go to the Dells. Though they're known for their curds, their Longhorn Colby is fantastic! It's worth a stop if you're ever in the area. You won't be disappointed!

Friendly, clean, super variety of items. Usually I prefer sheep's milk feta, but I tried their cow's milk feta and I LOVE it. I also bought fresh cheese curds and made cheese stuffed meatballs suggested by the cashier. Friendly folks! If you see a cheese store painted like a cow...STOP THERE! You won't be disappointed.
