The lady probably doesn't remember me but I've been in there a lot when younger. She's very nice, kind of serious but I can't imagine why with the idiots I've seen come inside this shop haha! Every time I go there it says closed; they must have very specific hours and days but I need insects dang it my baby beardie needs the foods and I am not going to Petco for overpriced insects! Hopefully the next time I go on Wednesday its open because I LOVE being in there! I'd stay there for hours if I had the time I also had a question so hopefully Wednesday~ Love your shop always have you're amazing!

Animal House Pets is an experience. They were very knowledgeable and very friendly. The animals are amazing. Allowing our family to hold them, and feed them. So much fun! We will be coming back for our Animal needs. Thank you so much!!

We are so glad to have found this adorable little pet shop. We were down for a medical appointment, but stopped by. We ended up coming home with a tortoise and hermit crabs as new addtions to our family. Their animals look healthy and seem very well cared for. The selection of pets is very good; there are definitely creatures that you dont see every day at the big box stores. Staff is very kind and helpful. Prices are decent.

Will not go to again! There's nothing in the cages for the animals to hide under or to climb onto. No proper lighting for any of the animals or no proper care. She followed me around like she didn't trust me.The tortoise there wasn't in great shape. The shell didn't look very good. I made a purchase there for a red eyed tree frog. Even though they had all the proof they needed that the transaction went through, they didn't let me take the frog home. She was even rude and being short to the agent she spoke with.The room they had all the rodents in smelled really bad. It smelled like ammonia. I felt bad for the animals in their care. Bearded dragons should be kept separately and tree frogs and anoles shouldn't be kept together. Didn't see any hegdehogs there but I read a review regarding it. Hegdehogs need to stay at a certain temp otherwise they will attempt hibernation and can die. So yes, they do need a heat lamp that doesn't put off any light. That's why you need to have a temp regulator. That way when it gets to the temp they need, it will shut the heat lamp off.They also need a wheel.

They have some unique insects and fish. We ended up getting some aquatic frogs at an affordable rate and the owner was very nice and knowledgeable. Side note she has a Nile Monitor for sale and those are rare to see. He is very cool.

The owners were very wonderful and nice. They told us some stories. My favorite part was seeing the little rats and birds. 10/10 recommend.

they take very good care of all of their pets and every time I visit I find a new species. This time I visited they had new giant millipedes and a daytime gecko and some baby tortoises that were soooo cute

This is a small but very nice pet shop. They have a good selection of food and toys for little creatures. As well as a nice menagerie of critters, including fresh water fish. The ladies there are all extremely friendly and ready to help. We really appreciate that they wanted to make sure the fish fit with what size tank we had. The animals seemed healthy and happy.

It took afew drive by's to find it. The minnows banner threw me off but they had exactly what I needed to provide relief for my dogs sudden scratching especially since we are away from home.I did get alittle surprised as the security turtle approached me in his attack stance.

Best selection of animals hands down. They're kept very well. They're healthy. The owners are always there on the spot and they know their place inside outside upside down as well. They know how to take care of all their pets and their reptiles and their fish. They help you get your fish tank set up too. They also have a really good selection of small animals. Hamsters mice guinea pigs I always get my guinea pig food there because it's his favorite. Not to mention you got to say hi to the tortoise because he's really cool and the dachshunds of course can't leave without saying hi to both of them. Price is excellent. They sell the food in bulk for the small pets and they have a really good selection of betta fish as well

Stay as far away from this pet store as possible. I recently went there to purchase some fish and i purchased 2. I brought them home and put them in a tank with fish i have had for years. One week later all of the fish died of hemorrhagic septicemia. -10/10 would never buy from this store ever again.

I go here a couple times a month for crickets and I have bought a few pets here. Never had any issues with the pets I bought through them and The prices are fair. The owner is a wonderful person, they have a great selection of animals. I recommend all my friends and family to this pet store. It is nice to support the small businesses.

They're always really friendly and helpful, well informed. Today I called before I left work to find out their hours and I wasn't going to make it intime to get food for my snake- and they stayed open an extra 10 minutes so I could get what my snake needed, he didn't rush me or push me out the door either. Just really glad we have such a nice local pet supply place. <3

Satisfied with the fish I bought and the person there was very nice. Only 3 stars instead of 5 because of the smell. I understand it's nearly impossible to keep a small pet shop smelling good but this was something else. If i needed to wait any longer for help I would have left because I was on the verge of vomiting.

My daughter bought a hamster from them and later found out it had mites when they sold it to her. She asked for help since she had to take it to the vet. She was told hamster are a "dime a dozen". The vet bill was $160.00 and the vet said the mites are typical from rats. Apparently they don't take care of their other animals either. As I read the other 1 star reviews they always have an excuse for their poor conditions and poor customer service.

I’m sure these folks are plenty nice to the locals but I called to ask some questions before making the 6 hour round trip to purchase a reptile. The lady (owner) was pleasant but very short with me and kept trying to rush me off the phone. We were making the drive the next morning to find one, very serious buyers.Owner didn’t know anything about the animal she was selling. Didn’t know if it was wild caught or captive bred, didn’t know the age, didn’t know the species or even realize that there are various species of that reptile. And she thought I was stupid or ridiculous for asking legit questions. Turns out she is selling wild caught animals imported from Indonesia and she doesn’t even know it because she said, “I’m pretty sure they are all captive bred nowadays.”We ended up driving all the way to Milwaukee to purchase a pet from a store where we knew exactly what we were getting.A pet store owner should know what they are selling. These are animals that can live 20 years.

A decent selection of fish. She even had fish i have never seen before that were very cool. Very friendly and outgoing staff. I bought an african cichlid and a couple bull sharks and they are doing fine in my tank with No problems

I bought a dwarf hamster from this shop and they later informed me he had mites. Nothing they were suggesting was working to get rid of them. They refused to pay the vet pill saying hamsters are ‘a dime a dozen.’ Don’t buy live animals from this place.

Small shop. Limited selection of fish, reptiles, birds and such, but their prices on pet supplies is quite comparable to the big name pet stores. The staff is friendly and helpful and their Betta selection is quite nice!
