Dr Lippart has been our vet basically since the 90's. He's honest, he's compassionate, but he's also realistic. Would not hesitate to recommend this vet clinic anyone that is looking for a fantastic staff that will care for your pet with the same passion that you have for your pet.

Hands down, the best vet in the surrounding areas. The staff is friendly and direct, and Dr. Lippart truly cares about the animals he sees. It's going to be a sad day in Wisconsin when he decides to retire.

#MarkesanVeterinaryClinic @ is the friendliest, kindest, and realistically priced veterinary practice in the area. Yeah, I meant to say realistically because many of us pet owners, who adore our pets just can not afford the insane prices other clinics charge. #DrAlanLippart is a wonderful man.I sit here writing this review on #ChristmasEve day, I called this morning worried that the clinic would be closed, & got in two hours later. #Amazing!The staff is genuine and pleasant. If I could give them #tenstars, I would. #Highlyrecommended.

We switched to Dr. Lippart about 8 years ago when we had a bad experience with our previous vet. He and his staff have always been amazing. They are respectful, kind, pacient and are truly gentle with our animals. When we had to put our Roscoe down Dr Lippart and his nurse came out to our vehicle and did it so we wouldn't have to carry him back out to our car. We were able to snuggle with him and say our goodbyes.

They r the best I've ever been to. The Dr is so great with animals and doesn't just try to make you spend a pile of money. He knows some people aren't rich and works with them. My cat is a very anxious cat but with him she's great!! He tries to find the best solutions with me and my cat.

Everyone was super nice. My cat threw up in the cat carrier and they cleaned it for me which is super helpful. Only thing that was weird was the place dosent really look like a clinic. Otherwise great place to take your pet.

It's a nice place with very nice people. Dr Lippart is really caring, patient, and won't try to sell you expensive treatments that aren't absolutely necessary. He takes a conservative approach to medical care. He talked to me in detail about all my concerns and the best course to take out of available options. He and his assistant were great with my 14 year old amstaff who was very nervous. If you're in the mood to shop, or just need something, they've got a little store inside... Collars, toys, food, treats, etc.

He explains everything to you thoroughly about your pet, explaining your options and offering compassionate advice. He has taken care of all my cats and dogs over the last 14 years and I would trust no one else with my beloved pets.

They not only care about your pet but they care about you as well. I take all 3 of my animals to him. My pit mix isnt to people friendly and he was so patient with her. I would recommend this clinic to everyone. He is the best.

We had to put our bulldog Sweetpea down after 11 years. They were so kind and gentle and helped us grieve. To make things worse we had forgot her collar in the parking lot but one of the ladies was so amazing she drove it to us that same day. God bless you guys and thank you for everything you do.

We just had our first visit since moving to the area. We have had multiple veterinarians previously. This is the first vet that I felt was very realistic with our animals' healthcare. He is very knowledgeable and I look forward to continuing to bring our animals there for years to come.

Great vet and, unlike other vets, I see the same vet every time. The techs are gentle and friendly too. My pets aren't afraid of the vet or his staff, which is a great relief to me. Highly recommend Dr. Lippart and his techs.

We are still newish to the area and Markesan vet was one of several mentioned to check into. I called to make an appointment for my new puppy and a pleasant young lady answered the phone and took all of my info and my puppy's info and set up the appointment. The day of the appointment we arrived about 10 minutes early and called to let them know we were outside. A different lady answered the phone this time (Emily).. and she was just extremely snotty and rude right off the bat. Talking over me, claiming my information was never entered and she didn't have it. She was acting like I was wasting her time. Very unprofessional and poor first impression and I should have went off of that instead of bringing my dogs to them again. I was hoping it was just a fluke and called to set up an appointment for my senior dog who developed a large hematoma on his ear. I was very thorough on the phone, letting them know about his sensitive ears, allergies and that he was a rescue. I asked them if they were able to do safely, if they could clip his nails while he was in there. I mentioned how he was deathly afraid of having them done and sedation was probably needed to avoid stressing him out. I was assured that everything would be done. The day of the appointment arrived and I showed up about 15 minutes early. Called in to let them know I had arrived. About 20-30 minutes After my appointment time, someone finally came out to get him. 2 ladies came out and took him in and just a few minutes later the Dr. Came out. He said he wasn't going to check my dogs ears or clips his nails because that would be too stressful on him and he didn't feel it would be in the dogs best interest and instead was going to prescribe some medication for his ear and we'd see how that does. The doctor then went in and Emily from our first incident came walking out a minute later with my senior dog. His eyes were bulging out of his head and he was panting extremely hard. She handed him over and said "We got his nails done while you were talking to Doc" and walked away. I opened the back door, he jumped in and I could then see and smell the blown anal gland and feces on his butt and back legs. Which was quite concerning and made me wonder how he was handled, because he doesn't do that unless he's been roughly handled. We've only had that incident happen once with a different vet before we moved. The Doc came out again and goes "oh, I guess they got it done". I thought that was quite a response since he had just said he didn't recommend it being done right now. We were given our meds and home we went. The meds worked a little but his ear swelled back up so my husband called to ask and see if we could make an appointment to get his ear drained. I don't know if it was Emily again or someone else but apparently whoever took the call told the Dr. that we called demanding his ear drained, and demanding them to change schedule, etc which was a complete lie. So the Doctor himself called my husband and was just being completely sour and rude. Telling us that maybe we should take our dog elsewhere and that he doesn't drain hematomas, telling him to read the medical papers etc. (Which we had) And my husband came out and told him that whatever he was told by the person that answered the phone, was incorrect. The doctor then goes "so your calling my staff a lier", and my husband said "I'm not telling you anything other then I didn't say what was claimed".. Its funny the doctor had the nerve to say all of that because 1. How can we demand an appointment on a day and time we work? 2. These are the exact words off the medical papers we received " The ear should be rechecked if swelling increases to more than half the pinne (ear flap) and may need to be DRAINED, a recheck of canal in two weeks is necessary". But yet the doctor rudely implied the opposite. We Also found out they said they had to muzzle him to check his ears. Which he's never had to have done in his entire life. Funny considering the doctor said he wasn't going to check his ears. So what actually happened?

Dr Lippart is a veterinarian in a league of his own. He's direct, informative, and honest, even when you want a word of hope in an unfortunate situation. He gives you options, if available, to try new supplements and you can buy dog food, treats, & many accessories too! If you haven't read the book he wrote, treat yourself 😊

Very reasonable prices , friendly environment and never even put a muzzle or restraint on thor (who is a pitt bull )while examining and treating him! That meant the most to me as he has never even growled at a single person! Thanks for the wonderful experience for thor!
