We were in the area, and decided to stop in and get some coffees to go. Lovely, picturesque coffeehouse.The coffee house itself, is its own building, on a beautiful lakefront lot. It was very quiet outside and relaxing. They're about ten parking spots right next to the coffeehouse, otherwise there are additional spots across the street. Dixie's has indoor seating, outdoor seating on the deck, and sitting down by the dock overlooking the water. Each area is very clean, and had its own ambience. We stopped early morning, and the views were spectacular on a sunny late spring day. I could easily see you bringing a book here or friends to sit and chat for a while either outside or down by the dock.Besides coffee, which I got an iced white chocolate mocha (delicious), they had a variety of teas and smoothies. They also listed a variety of bakery items, as well as some meal options, but we didn't look into that too much. The employees were really welcoming and professional. Even though there were several families and people present, we got our drinks very quickly before exploring the grounds.This would be a place I would come back again in the future, hopefully to spend more time here to enjoy their different drinks.

Beautifully maintained place with a view. Very nice staff. Much effort in that. The bakery is good. Other food items are serviceable. No owner effort in educating the staff at making quality espresso drinks. The staff deserve to have a pro in for training or send someone out for it regularly. Go to Dixie's for the ambiance, not the quality.

The other reviewers are right. This is a wonderful place. Excellent espresso drinks, clean and full of charm, and super friendly staff. They take their craft seriously here. Add some time to your trip to stop by this out-of-the way place.

Dixie's Coffee House is a place that is a bit off the beaten path, but we'll worth the stop. Right off the bike path and near the water as well allows you to make a peaceful pit-stop.The staff is friendly, the area inside and out well kept and clean. The food and coffee were certainly worth the trip! The daily sandwich and soup special make ordering a breeze.Nice shaded and water side seating to enjoy your favorite beverage.

Stopped in for the five star rated coffee, and stayed for the spectacular view of the lake. Friendly wait staff and very smooth, non bitter dark roast. Bakery is excellent too! We will be back! 6 stars!

The place is beautiful! Wonderful open sitting area looking at the water. We had gotten a specialty drink, vanilla latte, breakfast burrito, and a breakfast sandwich. All were wonderful with flavor and seemed like high quality ingredients.When we come back up here we will definitely stop again

Nicest coffee shop I’ve ever been to. Beautiful view of the lake down below. It’s great to bike there if you are close enough. The breakfast scramble was delicious as was the bagel.

Very nice seating area, especially with the fireplace. And a great view of the lake. Friendly staff. Very nice clean bathrooms.Parking: Small, awkward parking lot, but there is additional parking across the street.

We started our day riding some great paved trails through some beautiful Northwoods landscape. After our bike ride we decided to try this coffee shop called Dixies. What a great find, the place is super clean, overlooks this very picturesque lake and has great outdoor space (they must spray for mosquitos as they were attacking me on the trails but not on the outdoor deck). It was super busy here today, but what made our day was although packed we were greeted very kindly by these fine young ladies Kim, Lyndsey and Madeline. It was such a great way to finish our great bike ride. Thanks for your kindness and smiles.

Whole we experience was ruined by super rude staff. From what I was able to gather this is supposed to be a pet friendly place. It is not. Oops all the advertising would suggest it would be and it doesn't explicitly say it isn't. Perhaps update the tourism board. I brought my very well behaved dog into the establishment and the staff's reaction was just uncalled for. Simply left and that was that. You can have the best of everything but if service is terrible there's no reason to visit the establishment. Sad bc the coffee was good.

So, I visited here for the first time. It is very charming inside and such a lovely area. I purchased three iced coffees and three filled donuts at a charge of $28! We left as we were headed back home to Waukesha Wi and as we started eating the donuts we were very disappointed to find very little filling in each one. They were also very dry. Very disappointing coming from such a lovely looking place. Pretty sure I won't be returning. Thanks Lisa

Adorable place with a great view and delicious food! We went in for coffee, but ended up ordering soup, a sandwich, dessert, and coffee. They offered a limited menu offering high quality food with a creative touch. The staff was very nice, which contributed further the warm atmosphere. The cozy fireplace and north woods decor made it a great stop to warm up! Highly recommend this place and its Peanut Butter Crunch Bar!
