We are so lucky to have this little gem of a grocery store in Manawa. For a small store, they excel at keeping things fresh and keeping a variety. The meat and produce is of great quality - which is probably a hard task for a small store. The owners are very humble and gracious even when dealing with some challenging characters who don’t understand the challenges of keeping a retail business in a small town. I never hesitate to purchase here. We can even find fresh herbs here! The store is kept up well and is so clean and organized. It may cost a little more at times as they purchase less quantity than large stores and don’t get the same purchasing perks, but is more than worth it in convenience.

For a small town grocery store this place is amazing. They have a great selection and the staff is very friendly. They have great grab and go options, produce and liquor. I have never not found what I’m looking for here.

I would say almost everything in the store is over priced just because there aren’t any other grocery stores besides being 15-20 minutes away. So they take advantage of the locals, their bristled chicken is good, I recommend calling it in fresh. Hopefully the new owner can do something about everything being mostly retail price.

This would be a decent grocery store if it didn't price gouge their own neighbors.I've seen the replies and excuses to other negative feedback but you could drive out into the middle of the desert and find a box of cereal for less than 10 dollars. (I can see the reply already. Yes I'm rounding up from the box of Lucky Charms I saw there for 9 dollars and some change. LOL)Manawa isn't on the main strip but it's not exactly out of the way either. Other small town grocery stores are always a little higher but this is on a different level entirely. Yes... I've been to many around here. I've done my research.Just take the 15-20 minute trip to Waupaca or New London if you're going to do a lot of grocery shopping. Honestly everything is way cheaper at the Dollar General across the street and they're usually the ones price gouging these small towns. That should say it all right there.

Too many kids working here in my opinion. Usually only about half of them are actually working. As for the prices, like any local grocery store they can be quite expensive, especially since they have no competition. Their deli is what truly shines in this store. They have phenomenal salads and they're always first choice when I need something like that.

Your typical local grocery store. Clean, friendly staff, good selection for the size. You can often find a few reasonable price sale items here, Mondays are usually a good day if you are looking for a bargain. However it's a small store so you won't see Walmart prices on groceries. Has a Deli Counter if you are looking for hot food, but if you show up after 12:30 don't be surprised if the local workers have cleaned them out of a lot of items. Fried chicken is almost always available but call ahead if you want a large order.

Best meat around! Pork is always fresh! Chicken cutlets are real chicken! Prices for meat are reasonable and I shop there once a week just for the fresh meat!

Great people. The employees are always smiling and helpful. The store is always neat and clean. They have everything a person needs. Prices are great and so are their sales. The owners are truly wonderful people.

Good sale prices, regular prices are a little high. Owners are very nice... but not the friendliest employees. With the unfriendly employees especially the afternoon/night manager or assistant manager I would prefer to drive the extra mile to new london

Dean and Wendy run a great grocery! Frequent meat and fruit sales and mark down carts are good. They have small town grocer prices but not exorbitant to the point of being better off driving 20 miles to Waupaca or 45 to the Valley to save $1.20 on a gallon of milk.

Usually can find what we need. The one sad thing is that not all customers wear masks and it fluctuates from a majority not wearing them to a few. Not all good items are always fresh, however, it is a small area without turn around as in larger areas.

I love going to Remington's. What I love about it is it's a small town grocery store. It's a comfortable, clean, well stocked store. The meats are gorgeous because the butcher is excellent.

Small store is the only bad thing but that is possible a good thing also, now I am not going to say anything about the price it is what it is small town store. But there meat is very good and the other food is good also but meat is fantastic
