We have been taking our cats there for years for all kinds of grooming, including our elderly cat with a variety of needs. Debbie is wonderful. I had had a lot of anxieties and misconceptions about bringing my cat to a groomer. I'd been saving up to bring my cat to the vet for de-matting when the vet recommended royal pets grooming. I had no idea the process could be quick, non-traumatic, and reasonably priced. I was met with a ton of useful information on how to better help my cat stay mat free, what to do in the future, and what behavior to expect after grooming. Thank you so much Debbie!

We have 2 cats. When we needed the long haired boy groomed previously, he was boarded at a different groomer for over 6 hours. Upon return, his sister was aggressive towards him for weeks beyond the groom.Debbie allowed us to bring his sister with to the grooming appointment and was friendly, quick, and personable. Instead of waiting through a 6 hour boarding process, our appointment was no longer than 20 minutes. Because we were allowed to bring our other cat, the two of them are peacefully coexisting even just one day later. Simply put, the difference is night and day. This is someone who is experienced and genuinely cares for the well-being of all pets. We can’t wait to come back! Thanks Debbie!

My Siamese/Ragdoll mix, Saffy, needed her twice a year cut while I am in town here for work and after reading the reviews, I decided over all places in Madison, this was the place to go. It was the best experience ever, especially getting to be in the room while she was groomed. Debbie did a great job on her Lion cut and Saffy was not even stressed. She had a nap on the ride home and then showed herself off at home to my other (shorthair) cat. Usually she hides for an hour or two- staying out showed me she was a very happy girl. Highly recommended! Excellent experience and I'll be back if need be while I'm here.

I wish I would’ve known about Royal Pets, sooner. My Persian cat was able to be groomed on a short notice and I loved that I was able to hold her while she was being groomed. I also appreciated that there were no barking dogs and that I did not have to drop her off and leave her there all day which allowed her appointment to be stress free. Debbie did an amazing job handling her and her lion cut was absolutely gorgeous!

My himalayan cat had a bout of diarrhea resulting in some very unpleasant problems with her fur in the back. Debbie was professional, communicative, and all-around just lovely. She really packs a lot in those little appointment times. She gave her a sanitary cut, brushed her out, and clipped her nails in about 15 minutes. I will absolutely be back. Oh, and she grooms cats in a private room with no other animals and you go in with your cat. I'm thrilled with the entire experience!

Debbie is amazing!!!! I really can’t come up with enough great things to say about her and the staff at Royal Pets. My cat which was found outside that we decided to keep when we couldn’t find his owner was one big dreadlock. When we walked in Debbie said it was the worst she had seen and wasn’t sure if she was going to be able to do it and that he may have to be sedated at the vet to get the job done. However she was willing to jump right in and try everything she could to make my poor little man feel better! We knew going in he probably wouldn’t look to handsome afterwards since his knots were so tight but she was able to get his knots out and still give him somewhat of a lion cut. She is so sweet and informative about everything she is doing the entire time! She had his knots out, trimmed and cleaned up in 25 minutes and for a super reasonable price!!! He has been walking around strutting his stuff since we got back home. You can tell he feels sooooo much better! If your cat needs to be groomed don’t look any further call Debbie at Royal pets. I will never go anywhere else to have my kitty groomed. Debbie We can’t thank you enough!!!

Debbie is terrific. She's amazing with my cat and the grooming sessions are fast, relaxed, and provide excellent grooming as well as helpful advice to me as an owner; she was highly recommended by our vet. My elderly and very opinionated cat used to hate every session with previous groomers and hide for hours or days afterward, but she is now calm, relaxed, and acts like she's a young cat when she gets home - strutting around, preening, and bouncing around like she's a kitten again. Clearly, my kitty approves!

We've been taking our dogs to Royal pets for over 13 years now and have always had more than exceptional experiences. The staff is polite, courteous, well trained, and knowledgeable. Upon a word of mouth recommendation, we've been taking our dogs to Debbie for over two decades! Debbie, Dan and the entire staff are friendly, professional, and really care for the pets welfare. Lovely neighborhood "rescue center" for those of us who cannot cut our cat's nails. Debbie does a great job. I couldn't do it without her.In addition, the store is lovely and there are lots of goodies for our very best four footed friends. Thank you so much for being there!

I take my 2 cats there for grooming. I think she is the best cat groomer in the area. Her work is very good and her interaction with my cats is fantastic. The prices are very competitive. I've tried several cat groomers in the area and none are as good as Royal Pets.

Ferris was anxious during the ride to Royal Pets but didn't waste any time making himself at home once inside. He was calm during grooming and barely noticed his nails getting trimmed. We will be back regularly to keep him looking good!
