So many different types of dog food! I stopped here when I was killing time, and found several foods that my pup with corn/chicken allergies could eat. I didn't buy anything since my dogs eat The Farmers Dog brand food. I got my dog a cow hoof which he loved. Thanks Mounds, the lady at the register was super friendly & sweet.

I'm not a local but I like browsing pet stores. I have cats and feed the birds outside. They had a great selection of bird seed and feeders. Some things I don't see at the stores near me.The cat supply selection was a good size. They had an aisle of heavy duty wooden base cat tres. They are expensive but they are pricey anywhere and worth it.It's a nice size store and the staff is friendly. I'll be coming home with some different treats and toys for my give cats and a new ring feeder that holds peanuts for the birds

Unfortunately we will not be spending our money there anymore. Fed up with rude managers that couldn’t care less about customer service even to long term customers. They go out of their way to be lazy and hide in the back and are aggravated and have an attitude when questioned about products and refunds. They’ve been greedily price gouging customers also. Good luck.

Always a great experience here! Bill was wonderful helping me at the check out. Fun fact, they have a donation bin that the humane society picks up weekly if you have accepted supplies or food to donate :) super convenient!

Stopped by Mounds on the way home from Cobb's Vet visit (pictured.)He was a very brave Boy 🐈 so we picked up some litter, wet food, FROMM dry food, treats, and a couple of new toys, of course.We donated large bags of cat litter and cat food (tax-deductible!) to the Dane County Humane Society after our items were rung up as I luv ALL the 'aminals.' 🤭Bill at check out was super helpful and friendly. Great experience!

Always find what you need at Mounds for feeding and taking of your pets and once in awhile you happen to find your favorite cat litter on sale 😁. You can also get what you need to feed your little wild friends to. Oh and don't forget your Mounds bar at checkout.

We just adopted a new puppy from DCHS this week and as a cool bonus, we got a Mounds gift offer for some essential puppy supplies!I have to say, for a local place to be supporting DCHS and new adoptive dog and cat owners is really wonderful.Everyone at the Madison store loved Lima and went out of their way to be helpful and friendly. Excellent experience!

The selection is good, but that is true for most big box pet supply stores. What sets this Mounds apart from some other stores is how friendly all the employees seem to be - I don't think we have ever left the store without being very pleased with the service. Dogs are always welcome (this is true of several local stores). There aren't any pets for sale in this location, so don't come hoping to ooh over puppies and kittens, but if you need a good local store to get supplies for your existing pets, this Mounds is hard to beat.

One stop shopping. They have a very good loyalty program that gives free product. The employees are friendly and helpful. Go!

We have an old cat (18+) that's gotten very finicky about her food. Mounds has a huge assortment of cat food varieties and we've found a few that kitty likes which aren't available in grocery stores.Besides cat food, Mounds has a large variety of dog food, as well as food for a wide variety of animals. They also have most items one would want to purchase for their pets. To top it off, I've found them to have a very knowledgeable and pleasant staff, more than happy to help.

This place has a great variety of food and toys, and it's home to some of my cats favorite treats.I'd say the pricing is about average, for more conventionally available cat foods I see the price is about the same as at any other pet store, and the Mounds specific brands are about on par for price.It has a somewhat confusing layout, and the food section is reminiscent of a Costco. That being said I can't imagine an easier way to lay out all of the food varieties so just keep that in mind.As for the staff every time I've gone they've been super friendly and helpful. Overall it's a good place if you want to try a variety of foods, or you're looking for a specific type of diet. They've also got a ton of cat trees and toys that I haven't seen at any other store so that's great.

Took our new puppy in to get a new harness. Had a clerk help us fit her so we get the right fit. We got home and the puppy slipped right out and ran to the nearby woods. Thank goodness she was scared to death and let me pick her up when she was stuck in some buckthorn. Moral of the story, use your own judgment & don't bother asking for help because just like everyone else, they don’t have enough help. But they do have quality products and with the help of u-tube & google you can get all the help you need.

Found my new favorite pet store! Staff was very nice and helpful. They have a huge variety of dog,cat,reptile and bird toys and supplies. We only went in one isle for 3 minutes, payed and then left with sutch a good experience! I have never had sutch a good experience with any other store. In the reptile section I saw no sand and nothing that can be harmfull. Love this place and would highly recommend if you can in this area.

For pet owners and pets a great place to visit. The product deselection is outstanding for ALL types of pets. An extensive selection of food, toys, treats and accessories. The staff is always friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. If you are a dog owner it is especially fun to bring your dog and let them browse, on a leash of course. A great place to visit!

My dog loves to go here. The staff always stop to pet her, and she gets a treat at checkout. They have a really good selection of treats & food for dogs and cats. They also carry some small animal supplies.
